As
a
family,
we
often
visit
Daylesford,
a
place
known
for
its
distinctive
dining
experiences.
On
our
last
trip,
we
decided
to
have
dinner
at
the
Farmers
Arms
Hotel
Daylesford,
but
regretfully,
our
experience
was
a
letdown.
We
ordered
some
of
the
signature
dishes,
such
as
the
pricey
ribeye
steak,
but
the
flavor
and
ingredients
were
mediocre
at
best.
Given
the
premium
pricing,
we
expected
a
higher
standard
of
quality.
The
portion
sizes
left
something
to
be
desired.
As
a
matter
of
fact,
due
to
the
small
servings,
I
had
to
order
an
extra
side
of
roasted
potatoes
just
to
feel
satiated.
The
kids'
meal,
a
staple
of
fish
and
chips,
also
failed
to
impress.
Our
little
one
didn't
seem
to
enjoy
it
much.
While
this
may
just
be
our
perspective,
and
others
might
have
a
different
experience.
Perhaps
some
improvement
in
both
the
quality
of
the
food
and
the
portion
sizes
would
significantly
enhance
the
dining
experience.
