What a treat this restaurant turned out to be. Thank you Carissia from Hilton for the recommendation for New Years lunch. Bit tucked away so don’t be surprised overshooting the location. It’s a historical masterpiece which you must explore if you have the chance with Nicole the restaurant manager while waiting for your food and if a room Is empty they will show you one . Service is exquisite and personalized. From Mr Aikens security who allowed us to use his shaded parking spot and taking pictures of us with the famed peacocks roaming the grounds to showing us the way. Handoff to hostess Stephanie who took care of us to server Stephanie who was attentive to ashley at the bar who serves wonderful variations of cocktails. We ordered the fish sandwiches which were awesome served with fries and we added coconut crusted plantains. For drinks the ginger manor smash and dessert the manor pillow. Hotel Manager Anne came out to meet us and say goodbye . Nice touch An awesome unique experience and I highly highly recommend for a great experience

Lovely place for brekkie, lunch or supper. We opted for Brunch! Yum!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the company of a peacock 🦚!

Great vibes, great views. Such a hidden gem. Had the Lamb Shank and it was worth the penny. Service was great and staff was very friendly..

Overall I think this was a great place for the vibes and the photos but the alcoholic drinks were more like juice and I was not a fan of the food. Read below for more details: The vibes were definitely 10/10. Great place for photos and the Dj was on point. The drinks basically tasted like juice. There was not much alcohol in any. Even in the mojito. I was not happy with the food either. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was very thick and fluffy which was good but EXTREMELY dry. The chicken was juicy but under seasoned. The chicken sat on top of a pile of lettuce and under that was the waffle. There was not much syrup on it all, and what was on there got soaked up by the lettuce or was just on the side of the plate. 4 guest of my brunch party ordered the same thing and we were all unhappy.

Unsuspecting location in the middle of many locals. However you feel like you are in an oasis surrounded by beautiful landacaping. The chef is very skilled and willing to customize to your needs. I visited with a friend who needed to eat something in particular and to my surprise they more than fulfilled her wish. This was great. The location also has accommodation so perhaps you can check out staying there as well, eating there several times :)

This restaurant has a lot to learn from it's competition. The service I received today does not inspire me to return or recommend others. My table was easily spending over $1000 and to have this experience, we all decided not to even bother with dessert. Pavao if you want to have things on paper, so you don't have "liability" (word used very loosely at your establishment) do your homework and have everything on paper!

Great service, staff and the food was exquisite. Brings a great feel and difference to the dining world in Barbados. The prices set this restaurant apart as it is shocking that A class dining can be reasonable.

The food was absolutely delicious! I went for birthday diner. I normally am not a fan of fish but I tried the Fisherman's Pub and I really did enjoy it. Staff was friendly, scenery is nice, there are peacocks that walk around freely on the compound.

This is more of a venue than a restaurant, they have weddings and birthday parties. The food was good, but we were the only people eating there. Wine list was poor. Lacked atmosphere.

Visited Pavao at Sweetfield Manor today for lunch. SO SO SO GOOD!!!!! Lunch was excellent. I had the caesar salad, chicken and mushroom vol au vent while my cousin tried the mahi mahi ceviche. So delicious. For desert we had the bread pudding and tiramisu. Again delicious . Our first visit but will not be the last. Our wait staff Travaughn and Kirk were excellent. The location is also great. I highly recommend you visit .

The place looks really good, but the menu is definitely overpriced (93$ BBD for pasta ?) while the food is not even as good as much of the other restaurants in the island.

Very nice experience having lunch at Pavao restaurant at Sweetfield Manor. The food was excellent, the service top notch, the atmosphere very cosy and the prices very reasonable. It is a perfect lunch place, and I'm sure it is equally good for dinner (which is on the to-do list for the next Barbados trip 😊)

Went for dinner and was sorely disappointed. The menu online was a quite different from the menu given during our visit— not to mention it was also really confusing. Our waitress while pleasant, didn’t do a great job answering any of our questions about the overall menu and was more interested in getting all of our menu selections all at once... which gave me the impression that we wouldn’t see much of her throughout the course of the evening. Starting with the cocktails, outside of the classic standard cocktails all of the others had very vague descriptions of the actual alcohol used to make them. We asked the waitress she wasn’t much help there. The appetizers, although good, were overpriced for the portion size. I ordered the seafood pasta for dinner It had approximately 4 clams ~ 2 of which weren’t open and 4 shrimp. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was overly salty. My husband ordered the lamb shank which was mostly bone and the meat did not fall off of it like you would expect from a slow roasted lamb shank. His cous cous was also rather bland. When asked how he liked the food, he mentioned his concerns to our waitress. And while he wasn’t expecting and didn’t want a replacement for the meal the best they could do was offer a drink??? He declined it because at this point we were over it all. But, for $105bbd for a lamb shank dinner, you’d just expect better. Maybe it was an off night but my overall impression is it’s not worth the price and I wouldn’t consider giving it another try.

On hearing about this restaurant and what it offers my boyfriend and I decided to have breakfast there. First we were greeted by a hostess who was inappropriately dressed. Then on hearing there were no menus and you were served what was being done in the kitchen surely shows that your choices were limited. So we had to take what ever was being done. It took a waitress about half hour before she can come to our table to start to serve us. When the breakfast finally came it was cold. What was I really getting for the $65 again? I guess a chance to see the peacocks.

Restaurant surroundings reflect old colonial elegance and the food was superbly presented and seriously delicious. Entire menu is reasonably priced. I recommend dinner there unconditionally. My compliments to the staff and kitchen. Paul W. 22 Feb 2019

Quite amazed at our dinner. It is a new Resturant so not busy but the food, the service is second to none. All three courses where great. Actually the best steak I have ever had. Cocktail drinks were very good as well.

Such a lovely night! We stayed here just one night before our cruise and were so delighted this restaurant was here. The food was delicious! Loved every bit from the crab cake to the chicken curry and lamb followed up by crème brûlée! Then add on sitting outside with the crickets and frogs singing creating the perfect evening. Can’t recommend this enough!
