Jollity has quickly become a favorite restaurant of mine. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the food has never disappointed me, and the ambiance is lovely. I recently visited because I had seen that they were changing out their menu for the upcoming autumn. From the drinks to the dessert and everything in between, I was blown away. I highly recommend the Money Trees cocktail. It was quite literally my favorite cocktail I have ever tasted. And if you take anything away from this review please try their new Sesame Crème Brûlée! It was phenomenal, with perfectly balanced flavors, a gorgeous presentation, and a lovely paired sake, thanks to our lovely server.

The drinks were wonderful! Very strong and well made. The tempura mushrooms were very tasty and fried very well. Not too heavy. The dishes were creative and imaginative. I was very impressed with the bold flavors and plating. Looked very professional and thought through. Lastly, the service was nothing short of fantastic. Warm welcome at the front door, quick service and a very kind and cheerful waitress named Kylie I believe, table cleared quickly by other servers passing by. I was extremely impressed with every aspect of this new hip Dayton joint. We will be back again for more!

9/22/23 Arrived for a special dinner date with my favorite person, my husband ❤️. Greeted promptly with our reservations, we opted for bar seating to enjoy the cooking spectacle. Sasha, our waitress, provided excellent service. The menu offered a variety of tempting dishes; we indulged in CFR (Crispy Fried Japanese Chicken), Lemon Oil Shrimp, Foxhole Greens, Fried Brussels Sprouts, Kimchi Pancake, and Matcha Chess Pie. Every dish was exceptional, making this experience truly enjoyable. We look forward to returning in the near future.

A classy yet chill establishment with an Asia inspired and rotating menu that was delightful to my wife and I. Our server was also superb, being both patient and informative when it came to selecting drinks. We will definitely be stopping by here again!

We were visiting Dayton and looking for somewhere interesting to eat. Usually a big fan of small plate type restaurants we decided to give Jollity a try. For it's location, I think they're doing a pretty good job but maybe trying a bit to hard on some dishes. Beets were my favorite dish, light and fresh. Kimchi pancakes were just too unbalanced and overly strong in flavor. Chicken meatballs were good but nothing spectacular. Marrow was not my favorite or anywhere near the best I've had. The buttery toast overpowered any other flavors. Scallops were a solid choice, good flavors. Korean ribs had very good flavor but the ribs were just a little too fatty. Service was excellent and the atmosphere very nice.

Jollity has been a hit every time my husband and I have eaten there in the last year. The unique menu items keep us coming back! We’ve learned that the food is amazing, but the portion sizes can sometimes be a tad smaller so we order two starters and two entrees (and maybe a dessert) so we leave full! We love their seasonal menu. We can go once every few months and always try something new. Or if you like to be able to return to your favorites, you can’t go wrong with their starter of Brussel sprouts and their entree of Koji aged ribeye. I’ve never seen either item leave the menu! We use Jollity for a date night destination, but we also have seen more families dining there recently. Best to make a reservation because this restaurant fills up quickly! Each time we’ve been there the tables have all been full by 7pm. I’m hoping Jollity sticks around for years to come.

Everything was great. The brussel sprouts are a favorite of ours. The ribeye was the best I’ve ever had and the dessert was amazing. Five stars!

This place has a nice vibe. We went in for a late dinner and sat at the kitchen bar, which was fun. I was most excited to try the Brussel sprouts but was a little disappointed. It's an amazing presentation but they are just a little too . . . much, for me. Literally, a friend and I shared the dish and I still took a large portion home, and figuratively, it was just so rich and sweet, my palette got tired of the dish after just five bites or so. The beet salad was interesting. But the scallops were fantastic - I don't think I've ever had a scallop more perfectly cooked! The house sangria was very tasty. The service was excellent as well. There are several other dishes I'd like to try from their menu and I'm impressed with the number of gluten free and vegan or vegetarian dishes.

Food was so good and fresh! Friendly server and quick service. Delicious cocktails! New menu out for the season. I got the local greens and then the potato croquettes... Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the potatoes before I ate them because they were so good. There were actually four croquettes on the plate.. The potatoes were light and fluffy with delicious sauces and chutney. Great flavors in both dishes. I also got a glass of the Akarregi Rose blend wine and it was so delicious. It's an orange wine. This is my second time here and I can't wait to come back again.
