Very pleasant experience today at this location. The menu has great selections to choose from and the staff team is helpful and nice. The food arrived to the table hot and fresh tasting about 20 minutes after ordering. Beverages stayed refilled throughout the entire visit in a timely manner.

Great location and great food! The Hawaiian fajitas are a must try. Highly recommended!

Excellent place.. LOVE this location. Small bar, very personal to get to know your bartender. The food was excellent the portions were great. Servers went well beyond to make us happy. Charo is excellent can't ask for a better bartender or person. See u there !

Wow! El Toro you guys got it going on. I have been to a good number of your restaurants in the area. Food and service is always excellent.

I live just around the corner from El Toro's Bar and Grill. I try to go there every Tuesday., Taco Tuesday ! They have the most delicious taco I've had! They are Authentic Mexican tacos. They absolutely do not skimp here. You have the choice of chicken or beef hard shell or soft taco. For a Dollar on Taco Tuesday! The Employees are very friendly and attentive. The Atmosphere is relaxed. I really like going there. I'm single and I go there alone and enjoy myself. Here's a picture of my soft taco.

I come here after work with a friend pretty often and we love this place. The margaritas are great, the staff is friendly, and they don't complain when we're loud, obnoxious, or camping a table. And oddly, the chicken wings are great here too

My favorite local Mexican place. Only had a bad meal once out of dozens of times going here. Unfortunately it was take out so I didn't feel like returning it, but I am confident they would have made it right if I chose to.

El Toro is about what you expect out of a Mexican restaurant in Ohio in terms of the food you can get. Got a combo myself. Rice and beans were good, same for the enchilada. Chile relleno is definitely worth trying. The two downsides for food was that the cheese sauce tasted a little off (getting most of it off was easy enough) and the hard taco was rather bland. The street taco meal is something I’ll have to come try someday to see how they do since that looks more promising. Service was a little slow, but understandably so as we got in the just a few minutes after a large group. Effort was clearly there so I can’t fault them too much. Generally a positive experience, but one with a couple of off points. You’ll probably do fine here with a good amount of the menu from past experience though.

Sergio was THE BEST. Great recommendations and amazing personality, so funny and nice. The fastest food that ever came out too!

Been to all of the El Toro's in the area, and this one I personally have to say is the best. Usually go for Taco Tuesday, but have tried many other things besides their taco special. I don't know what they do but their charro beans are the best of any of them. And the cartarito is superb, they can at least make it right not like some of the other ones. And the wait staff is excellent. I have reviewed some of the other ones but it seems since then they have gone downhill, but this one the quality is there every single time. Including there portion size is never skimped on like a couple of the others. I guess that's why I go back to this one because they do deserve my repeat business.

So, I order via uber for personal pickup. My niece went in for order and was told they would bring it to the car. The lady walked out handed the bag through the window and walked away without as much as word. So, I start to drive away and she says this isn't our order. I stop and turn back and she takes the food in to tell them. The lady stood in front of her and pulled the food out of the order we just brought back and repacked it into another bag and stapled that customer's receipt on the bag right in front of her. They had her look and she saw tacos and burritos so she says it the right one. We get home and mine is made incorrectly so I called to tell them that and that it is against the law to repack food that has went out the doors and into someone else's custody. She said well, if you want a refund you will have to contact uber. I told her I don't want a refund at this point, and that I and my family have been coming there weekly for years and will not be coming back, and she said that's fine mam and hung up the phone. Again, I have went there for the longest, but knowing they are willing to take a chance with people's health like that I won't ever return, and knowing our business was never valued just stinks. I did contact uber and let them know as well as the MC Health Department. We didn't do anything to the food or anything while it was in the car, but we opened the containers and looked in them so our hands were on them.

Came through for Taco. $1.50 tacos! I wish the ground beef had a bit more flavor but overall you can't really complain with the price. Also got chips and salsa and queso blanco.

The lady who served us was wonderful. We got a margarita tower and had a blast. We tipped her big, just wish we caught her name! She deserves a raise!

Visit 8/12/23 at approx 3pm. Food was terrible, not even warm. When mentioned was ignored, blamed on cooks. Ask for manager and was told he would be back in 30 minutes if we wanted to wait. Could not understand server and she evidently could not understand me. NEVER AGAIN! Was not offered discount. She did offer to reheat the food. NOT!! That would not have helped the taste.

Absolutely hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Dayton in my opinion. The service was excellent and everything was so clean and tidy

The food was superior, I got the fajitas burrito with extra queso, I couldn't stop eating it till it was all gone even after hitting my wall I still found myself fighting through every savory delicious bite, I suggest you pack the family up and head on down.

I absolutely hate to leave negative reviews, however in this case it is absolutely necessary. I took my family of four to eat at this El Toro on Sunday, March 20 at 12:30 PM. We were also meeting another family of four there. I told the host that we needed a table for eight, and he took us to a booth. I told him we needed a spot for four more and he threw up his arms, walked away and said “no no no we are full I can’t.” We literally were left standing in front of a room full of people not knowing what to do. Another customer sitting nearby witnessed the interaction and commented on how rude he was. After consulting with my wife we just decided to leave. When I called immediately after I got in my car to speak to a manager, I got the same gentleman on the phone. He refused to put me in touch with a manager. So I had my wife call on her phone and he eventually put us through to another woman, who said she was working in place of the manager for that time because the manager was busy. We have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and have had nothing but good experiences. The gentleman we met today was a face we had not seen, and it’s very unfortunate because this will be the last time that we ever eat at this El Toro. It was one of the worst ways I’ve ever been treated by someone in food service. Absolutely unacceptable. I did not get his name but if a manager or owner sees this he was a gentleman wearing a black shirt working at the El Toro on Harshman Rd., Sunday March 20 at 12:30 PM

Very good food. First time here. I had the taco salad with ground beef. The server was very friendly and checked on us. Got flan to go for desert and it looks amazing.

We have a Mexican restaurant close to home. El Toro completely blows it out of the water. The food, the service, everything. Amazing! Will definitely make the drive next time the family wants Mexican quesine.

Good Chile Relleno, good beans, good rice. More of a Tex-Mex sauce flavor in my opinion. The Chile was wrapped in some kind of tortilla... I peeled it off.

This place is mine and my husband's go to place. Every Tuesday for taco Tuesday and any other night we want Mexican. Best place in town. Service is always excellent and food is top notch . 👌

Although the staff was thoughtful and nice, they missed one of the 5 meals ordered and after waiting for 10 minutes after 4 of the 5 were served, we had to get the attention of the staff to bring the 5th meal... They were nice enough about it but it was too bad they didn't come back to check to see if all the meals were served okay. I am sure it was just a mistake...

Just called to place carry out order at 8:21, 39 minutes til close. She said the kitchen was already closed for the night. I asked why and she said, “That’s what my manager said.” Pretty inconvenient!

Steak fajita burrito covered in cheese. Delicious! Veggies were still crisp. It was perfect. Clean restaurant & friendly staff
