The
room
we
stayed
in
was
absolutely
beautiful.
It
had
a
definite
beach
vibe.
The
check
in
process
was
easy
and
the
woman
at
the
front
desk
that
day
was
very
accommodating.
However,
once
we
entered
the
room,
put
our
belongings
down
and
opened
the
back
door,
the
handle
fell
immediately
off.
Which
was
no
big
deal.
Later
in
the
evening
we
decided
to
go
check
out
the
beach.
We
were
given
a
key
that
gave
us
access
to
the
building
after
hours
and
to
the
gates
accessing
the
property
and
the
beach.
When
we
went
to
go
out
the
gate
to
the
beach,
the
key
worked
but
it
took
a
few
times
to
get
it
unlocked.
When
we
were
coming
back
in,
the
key
would
not
work.
We
figured
it
had
to
do
with
the
salt
and
sand
from
the
beach.
We
werenât
familiar
with
this
particular
area
and
didnât
have
a
clue
how
to
get
back
in,
so
we
had
to
jump
over
the
gate,
which
included
my
almost
60
year
old
mother
having
do
this.
We
ran
into
a
couple
who
was
about
to
go
out
on
the
beach
and
told
them
what
had
just
happened.
The
woman
said
they
had
the
same
issue
earlier
and
had
to
get
a
new
key.
The
next
morning
when
the
front
desk
opened,
we
went
and
told
the
lady
there
what
happened.
She
didnât
know
what
to
do,
but
the
maintenance
man
was
there
that
morning,
so
she
went
to
tell
him.
I
donât
how
the
truth
got
messed
up,
but
she
told
him
and
I
assume
others
that
we
broke
the
gate
by
I
guess
jumping
it.
He
came
up
to
us
after
it
was
fixed,
and
said
that
there
was
another
entrance
with
stairs
down
the
beach
we
couldâve
used
(which
was
quite
a
distance,
and
we
didnât
see
originally).
The
front
desk
lady
came
to
the
pool
where
we
were
at
and
told
us
that
it
was
fixed,
but
then
made
a
comment
about
us
having
to
possibly
pay
for
the
broken
lock.
We
thought
she
was
joking,
but
later
when
I
talked
to
her
again,
she
said
it
once
more.
I
was
extremely
upset
that,
because
she
said
if
I
didnât
know
who
broke
it,
then
it
would
automatically
be
our
fault
because
we
reported
it!
I
was
baffled
and
so
frustrated.
At
this
point,
Iâm
waiting
to
see
if
I
have
to
pay
(I
told
them
to
review
the
cameras).
I
couldnât
believe
it!
On
top
of
that,
it
was
the
weekend
and
the
pool
was
under
maintenance
(which
it
had
just
opened
that
morning
and
the
residents
there
treated
you
as
if
you
were
some
sort
of
criminal;
constantly
watching
you)!
I
felt
extremely
uncomfortable
on
what
was
supposed
to
be
a
âfamily
getawayâ
weekend!
Not
to
mention
insulted
by
the
accusations
made.
I
would
strongly
advise
staying
at
an
actual
hotel
and
not
places
rented
by
owners
themselves.
At
least
there
you
would
be
treated
as
a
guest.
I
was
going
to
rent
there
again
coming
up
soon,
but
the
experience
changed
my
mind.
