A lively and fantastic pier on Daytona Beach! Plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from! Safe, clean and very beautiful! Prices are fairly reasonable for a Florida beach. Not very crowded as it was on a weekday evening. Plenty of attractions and hotels nearby. Staff and employees were very helpful and very friendly! Very beautiful at night! Highly recommend making a visit here if you are in the Daytona area!

It was beautiful! Waves great for boogie boards. Overall, very clean. Parking was reasonable-$10 for all day. However, get there early to get parking. Lots of souvenir shops! Great time! Lawn chairs and umbrellas available for all day rental. To rent a lawn chair it was $10 for the day. Food and drink truck on the beach, suggest bringing your own cooler. The food truck was pricey, but that was expected!

This pier was nice. The Boardwalk was nice too. The parking is $2 for an hour (it goes up from there, but I only paid for an hour). Dogs may be allowed on the boardwalk, but they are not allowed on the pier. To walk onto it is also free, and it closes by 7pm. You do not need to go inside the restaurant to walk onto the pier, there's a walkway right near the entrance that will take you around. Fishing is $3 per person I believe.

This pier is amazing during sunrise! The sun rises in front of you and the vast of the ocean leaves you in awe. Breathe taking views!! The walk is not bad at all and there is free parking everyday until 9am. So get there early to see the sunrise! You will thank me later.

The pier itself is not a huge deal, but the beach is beautiful...so different from other beaches I've visited in South Florida. Visited here in late March and the water was definitely cold and not exactly in swimming conditions. However, the kids enjoyed playing in the sand as it was a beautiful day. Being able to drive and park right on the beach was also pretty cool. Would definitely return.

The pier is surrounded by plenty of ships and restaurants with a restaurant directly in the middle of the pier. It has a small splash pad right below the entrance for small children. You can fish on the end of the pier and they have signs posted of what type of fish you might catch along with which ones you can keep and which ones you are required to release which I found very useful. There were several people fishing and we enjoyed watching them. It is a pretty long pier that gives you nice views of the ocean, beach, and the condos and hotels that are on the beachfront. If you enjoy taking pictures, the pier is a wonderful place to do so! It offers beautiful landscape, nature, and waterfront photo ops, so don't forget your camera or make sure that your phone is charged because you don't want to miss out on capturing some beautiful views!

Such a beautiful place! We checked out Joe's crab shack and went up top to take in the view. I love visiting here and seeing that big blue ocean! Here are some pictures I took last trip!

Nice beach and wasn't too crowded when we went through the week. Sources said free street parking which we never found so look forward to $10-$20 to park and to park on the beach is $20. Suggest taking all-wheel drive or 4x4 to get through the sand.

The beach is very slowly getting back to its glory. Most entrances were closed but the one by the pier with public parking was open. $2 for 1hr and so on. Must pay with card at kiosk stand and register license plate, but it’s very quick (45 seconds or less). We visited on a Tuesday around 4:30pm and the beach wasn’t crowded at all, but the parking lot was almost full. it was actually pretty cool how everyone had plenty of room to set up and play without being in any others space. The weather was perfect despite the weatherman’s lies 😂 and the water was refreshing. The only thing that would have made our visit better would be being allowed to bring our dogs 🐩🐕 There was also an awesome food truck serving all the goodies such as Ice cream, funnel cakes, hot dogs, phillys, and so much more!

Beautiful, I only went to the Pier and to see the souvenir shops, but the paya looked beautiful.

Daytona Beach is a once-thriving location that has unfortunately fallen on hard times. The area has been impacted by hurricanes throughout the years and never fully recovered. The shops that used to make the area popular have since closed down, leaving only a few beach shops all selling the same generic souvenirs. Homelessness is also a concern, which may detract from the experience for some visitors. Despite these challenges, the area still offers a great spot for fishing and provides breathtaking views of the ocean. It's hoped that with ongoing efforts, the area can be revitalized, and the charm and excitement that made it a popular destination in the past can be brought back to life.

I had an amazing time on the pier. Me and a bunch of my bearded friends got the Genesis book world records for the longest beard chain making the # to beat 195' 3" and the pier made it possible. Don't forget to go inside for their fabulous food.

It's a huge beach, everything is clean. I rested under the bridge and saw a lot of people walking around. It was very fresh being down there. I didn't swim because of the strong waves and also we found some jellyfish on the sand, they're dangerous. Near the beach, you'll find many stores to get souvenirs and different stuff. There's a slingshot and other attraction if you want to take a ride..

We visited this spot during Christmas and one of the best beach area in east Florida. We walked around the beach it was cool breeze and relaxing. Enjoyed beach side rides and food Must visit spot if you travel around east. One thing to note is parking , it will be difficult to get parking as sun goes down better you reach early to access metered parking

It's a okay beach. The Boardwalk has a lot of souvenir shops, few restaurants, two arcade and a sling shot. The slash pad was huge circle and bathroom was okay. ... I was looking for the 🎡 ferris wheel but no where to be found. My guess is it got affected by the hurricane Ian. ... The weather was cold and foggy. We still got to enjoy the walk at the beach and had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. ...

Great views directly over the ocean. Watched people fishing off the pier ~ pulling lots of fish out of the ocean that day! Parking can be a challenge but the pier is accessible. The beach was very wide when we were there; looked to be low tide. Fun, touristy spot.

Free public pier, not crowded at all. Plenty of space to stand and watch the waves crashing in. Tried to observe the sea life but no luck due to rough waves. Couple of bars/pubs serving drinks and food. All clean and friendly. Live music on the roof top with plenty of comfy seats.

First time here, and I just had a nice experience. Clean beach and clean water. There's a nice pier we can use for fishing. I highly recommend this beach.

It's great to walk out on and watch the few fishermen and catch the ocean breeze while taking in the view.

We had a great date night long the shore! Ate at The Roof restaurant above Joe's crab shack. Beautiful views at sunset, from the rooftop.

Piers are great, always nice to walk above the Ocean. Joe's on the pier is run down, expensive and food far from cooked right. Now I know it's possible to ruin shrimps...

A wonderful place to visit. The beach is gorgeous and goes for miles. The pier is nice and also has a seafood restaurant at the end called Joe's crab shack.

Lovely view of the ocean from the pier and the atmosphere was lively. Everybody was cordial towards one another and having public restrooms and a mini water park for children and restaurants was perfect. The cost of parking wasn't too bad considering it was for the whole day and not hourly rate so you didn't have to worry about having to rush back to pay the meter. There was some structural damage to some of the pier but it's closed off for safety and some of the other areas took a little bit of a hit but they make sure that it's still safe for all. On my next visit I'll update the progress on the pier and seawall but in In all honesty it doesn't take away from the beauty of being in Daytona.

Daytona Beach offers plenty of places to eat and drink. The beach is amazing. You can pay to park on the beach for $20. Keep an eye on the tide times. Parking outside of the beach is difficult unless you go to main street and park in the public parking and walk down. (Approx 10 min walk) Main street offers plenty of small shops , food and drinks. Go on event dates like Bike Week and it's really good fun and full of bikes showing off their mods. Well worth visiting if visiting. Parking in the local multi story will cost you $10 for the day. Overall if your in the area or thinking of visiting it's a nice afternoon/ day

It is big and clear water beach. There was parking right on the beach. Good spot for the family day. There is a lot of business around the beach. We found food and drinks close by. There was even a food truck on the beach as well.

Absolutely beautiful! You can watch people fish off the pier, or even fish yourself. You can go eat at Joe’s Crab Shack on the edge of the pier. We saw dolphins playing around close to shore. It’s a busy area but still gorgeous.

Daytona Beach has nice sand that's enjoyable to take walks on. The kids LOVED the massive beach to run, splash & dig.

Great tourist spot. Was great to go in the evening when the tide was low. Incredibly low in my opinion but I'm not a beach guy ☺️. Enjoyed a couple drinks on the rooftop establishment, watching sundown is absolutely beautiful.

I was attending a conference in Daytona. We ate here on the pier next to the Hilton. It is touristy like you would expect, but still very good - and you sure as heck can't beat the ocean views. I recommend the blackened Mahi tacos.

So quiet, so pretty, so relaxing. The pier and boardwalk was nice to. They had a CHEER event while I was down there so you heard some loud music but wasn't that bad if you're looking for a nice beach for family and photos! Also don't forget to check out Joe's crab shack on the pier for Pina colodas🧉🍹
