My family & I were here for 3 days, it was the first time we had been here & we loved it. They only had a couple rides & we did those but we had heard from one of the shop clerks that there use to be alot more rides & attractions so that would have been better but we did like the arcade and the beach was very nice. We were mostly by the pier, they had 2 life guards close by on each side of the pier, they won't let you go very far out or in the water right by the pier because people fishing off off the pier. The beach was nice & clean but obviously crowded because it's a popular place. They also had a food truck but it's VERY expensive so you might want to bring a cooler with snacks. There's also restaurants by the arcade & all along the boardwalk, also lots of fun shops. Shop around because different shops will have some of the same things for cheaper, some shops are really overpriced. Parking by the beach is expensive $20 or if your lucky you'll find one that isn't full for $10. We should have just got a hotel right on the beach for as much extra money we paid for parking every day. Overall we had alot of fun & a really great experience.

I have waited nearly 40 years to visit the boardwalk. The ocean is wild and beautiful. However other than the slingshot there are no boardwalk amusements any longer.. The whole area is in need of some serious love. I can see how this would have been the place many moons ago, the nostalgic feeling some how reverberates from the fading coastal colors that so many of the businesses and homes are bathed in. Now you walk down to the beach and your nervous because the types hanging around are looking like they are looking for their next victim ... And I'm not talking about the homeless who call the beach home.. I mean if I was homeless the beautiful ocean is where I'd like to be too. I hope somehow the quaint little town gets the love it deserves and gets revived to what it once was. No fancy modern buildings... Just the amusement park and some kind of community program to help those in the community update their homes while sticking to the coastal beauty. I actually really loved the beach, I could feel the energy of the sleepy town.. she just needs to be reawakened!!

This photo was taken 5/6/2022.There's no rollercoaster, go-carts or ferris wheel. The website needs to be updated.

Great time at the beach! Some cool eating joints though on the pricey side. If you came for just the beach then you’ll enjoy but if you want other entertainment you’d be better elsewhere. Lovely time had there.

You gotta love the boardwalk arcade! Nice variety of games and most give tickets or ticket receipts that can be used for prizes or save them up for bigger ones. Perfect for quick respite from the sun and a few bucks lasted my son longer than expected. He loved the bowling game. It’s a little tight in some spots but still enough room to get around as long as people are patient and considerate when it’s busy.

So besides the sling shot, there’s nothing else. The attractions you see in all the pictures are completely gone, it’s an empty lot as of October 2022. There are two arcades and the pier restaurant, that’s all. Regardless it is a really area to walk around.

Excellent way to spend the afternoon! Due to Hubby's scooter we were worried. Shame on us! The boardwalk along the beach was definitely wide enough, Access on and off was convenient. The fishing pier was easy access, clean and Worth the visit. While we did not go to Joe's or enter any of the shops or arcades, we really enjoyed the views and the people!

The best weekend I've ever had in Daytona! Clean beach clean boardwalk. Nascar, food, arcade, fishing off the pier, fireworks every Saturday, concerts and my favorite part The Beach!

In the summer, there is no such big wheel and amusement on the beach. We came here just to discover the Beach and it's the most beautiful beach on the East side of Florida. Forget about Miami! The best beach is in Daytona Beach! 21 miles of white fine sand, no seashells, no sargassum, the water is crystal clear and the wave is perfect for body surfing. On Beach rental is reasonable : 1x umbrella + 1x middle table and 2x long beach chairs for only 40$ until 5pm. They start to recuperate all rental equipment at 17h00. 15$ per body board. Parking on the street just next to the beach is just 1$ per hour. At the end of your stay, you can rinse with chlorine water then clear water just in front of the public restroom. *** The City needs to invest a little bit on safeguarding the whole site and on cleaning frequently the restroom.

Fireworks after free shows on Friday and Saturday nights until September which was cool! Tons of places to shop, a few good places to eat but many were way too long of a wait (Johnny Rocket’s was over an hour, kind of ridiculous to wait that long!) but great food and service inside the Hilton’s restaurants. Parking was easy and right by the beach for $30 so depends on how long you’ll be here. Beach was nice, clean, lifeguards present most of the day/evening. Not too crowded on the beach, either, so that was nice. Definitely would love to come here more often and I would recommend it for a day trip!

Thanks to Jeanie Lemay and Eugenie Miron 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 We changed our plans for Daytona Beach and it was fantastic!!! The sand towards the Boardwalk is so soft and soft while the sand towards the water is hard (perfect for carriages). We walked a good 1h30 on the beach. Super beautiful. To our surprise.....the amusement park/rides was no longer there 😣😣😣😣. Apparently for a year. It's super sad but hey 😄😄😄😄😄 we missed our chance. It cost $8 for 4 hours of parking. Arrive early. Omg. That fills up fast and there was a long line for parking. We were lucky. There were fewer shells but there were waves. Which made Adam Jacob and Adam's adventures happy with his donut 😂😂😂😂😂. You can also rent on site!!!

We did not stop to play games but visited a Boardwalk shirt stop between Pizza King and the Amusement location. At this shop, we had one employee help us get 3 shirts from high wall racks and a second employee helped us choose tshirts or sweatshirts and the designs we had printed on them. Awesome customer service!

I’m from New York and I absolutely fell in love with this experience and everyone should visit the shops and get a walk in and a nice tan at it as well! I recently left and enjoyed my beach day over there

I liked going here. Was quiet and peaceful. Nothing really open in the off season and because of the storms that hit Daytona. Got really pretty pictures of the sunrise and beach.. Isn't beautiful! That sunrise is my screen saver! A most go!

I truly enjoyed the beautiful weather, walking out on the pier over the ocean. What a gorgeous view. There are little stores, food, games, ocean swimming, fishing and so many sweet faces. We had so much fun and everyone should get the chance to see Daytona Florida.

The Daytona Boardwalk is always great. This year, there were many shops that weren't available/open. The damage from the most recent hurricane is the biggest cause of this, I would assume. Parking cost us $4 for 2 hours.

This place has really gone down since the last time I was here a few years ago. Lots of trash on the beach, and it just looks run down. So sad.

We have always loved this destination. It's sad to see all the old rides, buildings, etc getting tore down. I hope they don't try to replace with fancy things.

Actual boardwalk is pretty badly designed. It has two destinations and a huge space of nothingness between them. On the side away from the pier, there is a Bubba Gump, Rocket Fizz, Johnny Rockets, and an abandoned theater, along with smaller shops and businesses. On the side by the pier, the only businesses that were really there are gift shops and a Joe’s Crab Shack. Wouldn’t really recommend unless you’re like me and enjoy the views!

Daytona Beach Boardwalk is a neat walk along the Atlantic with a nice evening breeze. The amusement location is nice, but I just looked around and did not play any games. It looked good, though.

Went to Daytona Pier, 'Eat at Joe's' restaurant, great salmon meal great margaritas lol 😆 Right on the beach which was great for me with bad knees. Available electric bikes, food truck on the beach, ice cream/soft drink truck drives around for refreshments. Chair (beach) available, I saw $40 but didn't see for what timeframe.

Had a great time here. Getting here early is must to avoid the crowds and get good parking. Plenty to do and see and eat and drink.

Again at the Daytona Boardwalk celebrating another anniversary. We spent everyday here and on the beach for 5 days. Thanks for making my 22nd wedding anniversary spectacular.
