Ok...... where to begin 🤔 I'm Here at Volusia Mall Daytona Beach, fl I was gonna review this mall earlier but the mall was open from 2pm to 6 pm Saturday 😒. So here I am Monday afternoon 😁. The mall seems very slow in foot traffic ( hence the shorten hours ) The outside of the mall is clean but very dated. There was an odd spooky vibe to the empty store fronts. The food court reminded me of a old South Park episode.. I was waiting for tumble weeds and zombies to emerge from the empty store fronts. Very nostalgic!!!.. the mall did have strong anchor stores like .... - Dillard's - JC penny - Sears - Claire's 🤣 ( my big sister worked there wayyyyyy back in the day) They had stores that seemed to be ready for business, but wasn't open 😕, it was 1:pm.. I used a massage chair that was 5 bucks for 15 minutes.. I sat and watched the old people power walk through the mall 🤣.. The mall had full service restaurants outside. Cheddars and a few other's.. I wouldn't recommend this mall if you're trying to walk and do something shopping. The hours are not consistent.. this mall is on the verge of being a inside flea market 🤣.. They had a few suspicious/ suspect store fronts wayyyyy in the cut.. This mall isn't worth the drive 😒

It is sad to see that most malls are slowly fading away. This mall is no exception, there are a few decent shops, but there are also many vacant storefronts. The food court is also 60-70% empty.

An excellent mall to shop! An enormous amount of different shops and markets. Plenty of free parking. It is very clean inside.

The stores in the mall are okbut the security are awful!!! My mother fell over the lip at the kids toy area and broke her hip today . One security person came over didn’t say anything but that the ambulance were coming then stood there didn’t ask question nothing. Then another security fellow came walking over. Neither one of them ever asked one question as my mother was laying on the ground screaming and cry. But thought it was a good idea to snicker and laugh with to female workers?!??! The 1st man that came over started filling out paperwork but never asked a question?? The other man stayed with his back turned most of the time thinking I wouldn’t get a picture of him but I did. None of them handle anything thank god someone wasn’t dying cause they would have just laid there dying while the security stood around laughing and talking amongst themselves. I also have videos but on here wont let me post.

Lovely as ever place to get away and have a relaxing shopping day. Great stores especially H&M and Dillard's. Food court has good Chinese and frozen yogurt. This is the only mall around, so, I make it a point to stay and enjoy my day shopping as long as possible. Jewelry stores, hair salons and other novelty stores. Hallmark is really good on holiday items and nice open eating areas to drink coffee. They might replace Sears with another store maybe like H&M I hope!

This mall is ghetto. Smell terrible and it have all ghetto stores. Doesn’t feel safe! Don’t go there. They need to bulldoze this mall and make it a parking lot for nascar.

this mall is certainly dying, tanger outlets (made by the same company of this mall) is taking all of the business and it shows. i believe that stores such as hot topic, pacsun, spencers, bath and body works, BAM, and FYE are keeping this mall alive since tanger does not have them. very little food court options and the management doesn’t seem to care about good image. how can i blame them? they know that those few stores are the only reason people go here, so why try? until tanger opens some stores that appeal to the younger generation i can see this mall falling down in 10 years (the 3 star review comes from my enjoyment of the hot topic)

Mall needs a makeover inside and out.. Needs more popular stores like Apple Sephora and definitely needs Macy’s back. Needs better lighting and patio area needs improvement.

The mall of Daytona is small but, it does have s good variety of upper end stores, which really surprised me. The mall was recently renovated. They have taken great lengths to improve the mall experience. There is a good play area for the young kids, a train that goes around the inside corridors, a bungee jumper, Menchies frozen yogurt, a great place to take your kids. Anchor stores include: Dillards, Macy’s, JC Penny’s, Sears. They are currently building a new section of up scale restaurants.

Volusia Mall is a shopping centre in the throes of death. It is a fascinating experience to wander the deserted courts and vacant, shuttered storefronts. The only shoppers you'll find here meander aimlessly, possibly as lost as the shopkeepers who remain, barely clinging to this place's forgotten prime. This mall, from the darkened wings to the empty expressions of the ghostly employees to the decaying and dripping holes in the ceilings, draws spectacle in the same way an horrific car wreck slows traffic while passing drivers gawk. There is nothing left here for you in terms of merchandise. It's a nearly silent shell of a former temple to consumerism. Come to sip burned coffee and gaze nervously before leaving this mall to its demise.

Recently went to Game Stop & Claire's. While we were at the mall the kids did the bungee jumper & had a blast!

I would give this zero stars, but the one shop that I needed is in there. The handicap parking is located far away from the main entrance, and there are so few it was completely full, which is surprising because when you walk inside it looks like an abandoned warehouse. Attempted to use the handicap entrance doors, and they opened 1/3 of the way and stopped. It's honestly like they have given up and are just looking for a tax write-off at this point.

Small mall for bargain hunters without the pressure from the big brands in the clothing industry. It's always worth stretching your legs. The food court consists only of pure fast food chains of the lower category.

It’s a pretty lame indoor mall. Food court is completely deserted. Books a million and Dillards are the only good stores there. Don’t waste your time visiting this mall.

Great family friendly mall! Check out our Pokémon vending machine for some affordable cards for the kids! Right next to the play area in front of JC Penney.

Nice small mall. Not a lot of shopping options. Food court has 2 options. Lots of vacant spaces. Dillards is spread out into 3 different stores.

New owners. Flavor not at all the same. Used to love it. As a Lyft driver, I used to stop frequently. Just had it a second time, not going back.

Mall is fairly nice on the inside and there are a good selection of stores, discounting the dated layout and vacancies. However, most of the stores don't open until 11AM on Saturday. Sadly the restrooms at the food court were absolutely disgusting. There were also some folks hanging out there that were a little sus.

Stopped in there today and it was real sad to see so many stores closed or not even opening up the food court only had 3 vendors not sure how long this mall will be around SAD !

This mall has soooo much potential, but it's a ghost town. Most of the stores close at different random times. Half of the mall is just empty spaces with no stores.

Actually, living here 11 years and this is the 2nd time I went in. Since covid, they lost a few stores but not enough to not go in. All major store's are open. (Not Sears) Food court is sad, only 3 places open. 😥 A lot of people young and old young were shopping. Prices were cut, Everyone seem to have a shopping bag or two

Nice local Mall. Very clean with a comfortable atmosphere. I enjoy Books-A-Million right here at the mall. Years ago it was at International and Nova but I like it here much better. Sears, JCPenney's, Mr. Dunderbak's, Victoria's Secret, Applebee's restaurant and lots of other stores to enjoy. It's nice!

The people of this mall. The staff. Are very abusive. The security officers yell at customers of the mall. They have tazers and are in my opinion dangourous people. I warn for all to be careful and be aware of the security officers. I would stand clear of the janitors as well because they are just as danhgourous as the security with tazers. The security officers also appear to have been drinking. Stay safe all.

I used to work in the ORIGINAL Volusia Mall at May Cohens. This mall is all but dead. The entire place needs to be demolished and something new put up. I now live in San Jose, California and live by an incredible retail development call Santana Row. This would be great for Daytona

This mall is dying and only has 2 food outlets in the food court and soon to be 1 from talking to one of the employees, ceiling falling apart in some places and stores on the brink of failure, mall is ALWAYS dead when I stop by, I'll be lucky to see more than 10 people walking around near me at any given time, always see store employees meandering around from lack of customers. Only stores I ever see any semblance of people is FYE, Hot Topic and Spencers, the anchor stores of dillards and jcpenney are always empty. Ever since the same company that owns the mall opened Tanger Outlets this mall has just fallen off the deep end

👍👍 This is an above average Publix. I would say. The employees are great! The store was clean. They always have what I'm looking for and plus I found these protein pop tarts for a low price! I've never seen these anywhere
