We often visit de panne on holiday and food is always okay but nothing wonderful this time until we found 't Zeiltje on a Friday evening at 6pm we found a nice table for 4 outside under the heated lamps it was really lovely just what we wanted, this one guy came out luckily he spoke English along with many other languages a really friendly bloke unfortunately I cannot remember his name but he was a credit to this place best service we've experienced in a long time. Small things they did but that made a difference, they came out with some small nibbles, and sauces were provided which doesn't always seem to be the case, the food and drink was really good value, we had curry moules which came with fries, a pizza, carbonara and some croquettes with prawns. Everything was really tasty, well seasoned and hot. It all came out really quickly which was fantastic, the most important thing was the moules this seems to be a hit and miss thing but these were piping hot, very few didn't open meaning it was very fresh and overall just very enjoyable a dish that was definitely worth having and we will have if visiting again. All in all a fantastic evening, really appreciated finding somewhere so good, well worth a visit if you live here or are on holiday.

Great restaurant, great experience I totally recommend to try the famous mussels and chips the service is very good Great beer selection.

The food here is really tasty, the portion was actually big with good price. The Staff were really friendly and nice.

First time we were there, uppon reservation, everything was ok, older waiter was very friendly even if he messed a bit up our order. Food was good. Second time, uppon reservation we arrived, nothing was reserved, the asian waiter installed us at a table in the entrance which just got free an THREW two cards at the our table witouth any word….obviously we left and spend our money elswhere where we got treated as customers!

We had the cheese croquettes and the “croque spécial”, both of which were very good. The portions are pretty generous (we had too much even though we were pretty hungry). Staff was also very friendly, we will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

The steak was not tasty, I did not like it. The Fries were tolerable at best and when I asked for a sparkling water they gave me 2 Sprited.

One of the best steaks I've ever eaten In my life. Melted in my mouth, and loads of seating outside! Definitely want to go back!

Had dinner here on an overnight in De Panne, the pizza was ok if a little over done, nice selection of beers
