We were visiting the area when I saw this place. Heard of it, but had never seen one. I'm so glad we stopped. Everything was really good. The food was great. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was small town quaint. All around, good experience. The pictures in the ladies' bathroom gave me a chuckle.

Recently stopped on a Sunday, for a take-out order. It consisted of 3 hotcakes and sausage patties for myself, biscuits and gravy and (1) scrambled egg for my wife. $26.25, tax and all. Seemed high for no more than I was getting. Get home, and there was only (1) sausage patty. Not good. The topper was the 49 cents surcharge for 'drive thru' service. So, every take out order has that tacked on to it? Seriously?? I will NOT return, EVER.

That will be the last time we go here. We used coupons and our bill should have been around $15, but after looking it up on our bank site, we were charged over $30. I went back in today and spoke to the waitress that waited on us. She tried to convince me that they simply didn't subtract for the coupons. Which still doesn't account for the full overcharged price, and that would have to back when the Mgr. gets back from vacation.

The food was excellent the restaurant was very clean the prices were outrageous 789 added on to a meal for biscuits and gravy that was supposed to be included and $2.59 for one piece of sausage it was $42.97 for two people to eat breakfast never going back.

We ate there when it first opened 5-6 years. It was excellent then and after so many years it is still the same. The same kind of friendly, nice, kind people working there Who have the knowledge and willingness to make everyone fell good when they walk in the place. And the food is very very good We will be eating there alot!

This place has really turned around. Food was always great, I mean, after all, it's a greasy meal place, and that's what you get. But that's what I love. The place is now clean. The servers were always great, but I'm happy with how they clean it again. Please tip well. They deserve it

Food wasn't that good. Our waitress was awful. Had to sit at a dirty table and wait for them to wipe it which she didn't do a good job and had to have her wipe it a second time, as the previous tables food was still stuck on it. She took our order brought us our drinks and never checked in on us. Dropped off our food and only came back to bring the bill. I got up and got my own ketchup and hot sauce from the waitress station. Our waitress was too worried about chatting with coworkers in the kitchen. Would not recommend this place or would I ever go back. Terrible experience.

Went here for lunch today, it took a bit to get seated because it was pretty packed, but I figured it would be with it being Christmas Eve, the smokehouse platter was amazing just like it always is. I didn't really care for the hash browns though, then again, I never really liked hash browns to begin with. Overall I loved it

The service was amazing but there was so many people around my table who had no manners, there was a woman who was halfway across the restaurant who had her phone on speaker and I could hear the whole conversation and she was obnoxious,not to mention the price, yes the food is good but not worth what it cost, my chocolate milk was $4, I could have bought a pint of prairie farms chocolate milk which is bigger and better, a single omelette was almost $11 and the cheese wasn’t even melted, and 3 strips of bacon cost almost $5? Its just outrageous

I’m not sure what’s with all the 5-star reviews. I guess these people enjoy paying $60 before tip to feed 2 adults and 1 child at a place whose quality is basically sit-down fast food. Re: our recent visit The “pickle” basket was mostly fries; the burgers felt and tasted like heat lamp burgers; the sausage patties were dried out pucks; and the $3.50 we were charged for ~4oz of soda was the expired icing on the stale cake. All this while the restaurant had less than three tables of other customers. The staff was considerate and understanding about the price we had to pay for the quality we received, though. That’s a… plus? Maybe the flies on the walls enjoy eating there, but that’s probably only because it’s free to them. Avoid.
