Dined in today. Plenty of parking. We didn't have a wait. I ordered the soup salad and bread sticks. My company had the shrimp scampi. Eggplant Parm and chicken Alfredo. Everything was good..We.also had several entrees to go.The prices were extremely reasonable. The zuppa Tuscan soup was really good.

Where to start… First we got seated after a long wait and it took about 15 minutes before we even got acknowledged by a waitress to take our drink order. When we did eventually place our order our appetizers of soup and salad took half an hour to get out to the table with cold breadsticks. By the time they dropped off our appetizers, we still had no utensils and had to go flag some random waiter down to get some for the table. When we got the utensils one of the forks and knife sets had old, dried crusty lettuce stuck to it which means that the dishwasher didn’t even bother washing utensils properly. After we got that straightened out our entrees came out before we could even dig in to the appetizers…. Food was good but service mouth dropping bad. I get places are short staff but some things are just unacceptable.

On the recommendation of one of the restaurant's staff, I ordered the Shrimp Scampi which comes with chopped micro asparagus and small pieces of tomato over angel hair pasta. Unfortunately, the dish was disappointing. Although it had a good number of small shrimp and properly cooked pasta, the sauce was under seasoned and, to my taste, needed much more garlic. Visually, the unorthodox additions of tomato and asparagus to this classic dish gave it vibrant color, but only the tomato enhanced the flavor. The asparagus did not work well with the other ingredients and would have been better served as a side of whole spears. Meals come with a choice of salad or soup. I chose the salad with Italian dressing. That was very enjoyable. The bread sticks were soft and doughy, and lightly coated on the outside with melted garlic butter so your hands become greasy. In my opinion, they would be well advised to skip the sticky butter coating, and offer butter at the table to spread with a knife. Our server did a good job.

Depending on your waiter/waitress, this will make or break your visit. I’ve been here three times, two of which were perfect; delicious food and no issues. Last visit, the waitress had friends dining several booths over who she spent so much time with that I eventually had to go over and ask for an update. Apparently, the kitchen had to recook the entree as it sat on the counter and she never picked it up. I’ll definitely be back as the food is great, but if we got the same waitress, I would ask to be seated in a different section.

A family member of mine works here and has for many years and we decided to patron this restaurant because of that and have a pleasant meal. However, my family and I attended ( we didn't receive a family discount as we had hoped) and we actually received very poor customer service. And I must say that one we did consult with the manager they really didn't have much input or seem to really be concerned with the following. [First off, we did ask for water, the water tasted so bad that we could not even drink it!! I don't know what exactly is wrong with the water but it was terrible! The first waitress that waited on us was not on time with our breadsticks or drinks. And when she did bring us the basket of breadsticks there were three of us, but there were ONLY three breadsticks in the basket (what!) and I asked her "there's only three breadsticks can't we have more", and before she gave a response she turned around to leave and I said, "wait can't we have those breadsticks you have" and she replied, "no you won't like them they're burnt". Why in God's name would you ever deliver burnt breadsticks to a table to begin with!! Everything that is to be delivered to a table first and foremost (as the waitress you must verify the order is correct, the items ordered, the appearance and or with ingredients per customers' request), YOU NEVER deliver anything to a customer's table if it is not according to their order, No exceptions!! This is based upon my professional experience with over 40+ yrs. in the industry of Hospitality. And I too, use to work for Olive Garden years ago. The drinks were very late in arriving to the table. The Manager did come out and ask when I asked for him if there was a problem, I did mention to him first off the water was horrid could they please give us bottled water, I was told that the water was just the tap water and nothing else was offered as an option. Dave, the Manager never offered us any other type of water not even bottled water which I would not have wanted to pay for anyways. My family ordered soda, (I don't drink soda and had nothing) a premium drink was also ordered. Dave did mention to us that he had changed our server. The replacement server that we received afterwards, did a very good job, our main courses did arrive in a timely fashion, server did offer us the cheese, and he did come back to check on us to see if everything was satisfactory. The entrees were very flavorful, We ordered Tour of Italy and also 🍝 Spaghetti with meatballs! The Tour of Italy which includes Chicken Parmesan (which this meal my sister and I split) and I found the chicken parmesan to be pleasantly tasteful, my 1st time trying it. But as far as returning to this Olive Garden, I'm leery of any future visits. Should you decide to visit this establishment be sure that your order comes exactly as you requested and you might want to avoid drinking the water, bring your own!

We had a family holiday lunch and everything was amazing! I ordered Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine. It was cooked perfectly, served hot, and plated very nicely. The salad and bread sticks were fresh and delicious as well. The Tiramisu was amazing! Service was very friendly and top notch, the atmosphere was very clean, bright and cared for. Thank You Olive Garden Staff! I'm looking forward to returning for another visit soon.

Olive Garden in Syracuse, NY excels in location, service, and cuisine. The pasta dishes are notably delectable, satisfying even discerning palates. The staff is friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Ample parking and a well-maintained environment further elevate the dining experience. Highly recommended for a quality Italian meal.

Went in for lunch and it was great. Service was awesome! My waiter asked me about 6 times how I was doing during the hour I was there. 2 or 3 would have sufficed. Definitely a good spot to enjoy a meal at the right price!

I went with my friends to Olive Garden for the holidays. I ordered the chicken scampi with a salad and breadsticks. It was wonderful. I didn't think to take a picture of my meal but I did take a picture of my dessert--Chocolate lasagna. I took it home so I could enjoy it later in the day. It was heavenly. Go there--you won't be disappointed.

I’ve been to Olive Garden restaurants all over this country and I have to say this is the ABSOLUTE BEST ONE! The food has always been fresh, tasty and overall fantastic! The service has always been with a smile and I couldn’t have been more satisfied! Truly a great place!

We were seated in the bar area. We didn't ask for other seats, but I think we would have enjoyed it more in one of the dining areas. We had the usual salad & breadsticks, which were delicious as always. I had the 5 cheese ziti and my husband created his own: angel hair with mushroom sauce & sausage. The mushroom sauce had large mushroom pieces in it which passed my husband. We both really enjoyed our meals.

We had a wonderful lunch here! The soup, salad & breadstick lunch was so affordable. The waitress was friendly, and checked on us often. We highly recommend the fried mozzarella too, but you’ll be very full if you get it like we did 🤣

STELLAR service from our server (my partner has the check so I couldn’t remember her name) and amazing food as per usual! I feel awful that our server had such a bad experience with another table before us, she recovered very well and brought us our food before I could blink. Our margaritas were also excellent and I’m so grateful she recommended them to us! Please give that woman a raise, she was the best server I ever had at this chain! Also we had eggplant parm as a main dish and I was so excited to eat it that I forgot to take a picture but I highly recommend that as well!

Told 25 to 30 minute wait, fine. Waited 45+ minutes watched people that came in after us get seated ahead of us. Decided to enquire at the host stand, we weren’t even in the wait list. Bummer, things happen i can deal. We were seated immediately, about 20 minutes at the table we finally got a server. Cool, we were still good we went out understanding we were going to wait. Placed our order all in one shot, appetizer, drinks and entrees. Cool, we were ready to eat at this point. Fast forward another 30 minutes… water and ice tea… honestly, if you’re too busy to serve the people you are seating the right thing to do is stop seating. We ended up just leaving after being blatantly ignored for the better part of 2 hours. I get that you’re a large corporate chain and my thoughts, opinions and feelings are insignificant to your business as a whole, but just consider doing better.

Arrived for a ridiculously early dinner, 3:30pm. I’ve counted six customers, and 9 employees wandering about. We have been told it will be a 5-10 minute wait for a seat. Short staff doesn’t seem to be the issue. Will update when seated. So, as it were, it’s been 20 minutes and I peaked at their seating screen and there is only four tables filled at the moment. It’s an endurance test now just to see how long we sit here. They could have handed us menus or something… We’ve hit the 30 minute mark! Whoooo 32 minutes and we’ve got a table! Our server seems nice. We went super easy with the order - soup/salad/breadsticks and the tour of Italy. We’ve tried to email the manager directly to address these issues. All our emails have been undeliverable. He just popped back by and said the tour of Italy would be right out. Our server is the only good part about this experience. He alone earns the second star. Also the chicken was rubbery

I absolutely love olive garden.. salad is what I go for. I had the ravioli with meat sauce this visit and it was great! Waitress was very nice the only thing that bothered me is where we sat. They are going through renovations so I'll give then a pass for that.

My wife took to the Dewitt Olive garden this afternoon and Jacob C was our waiter and he made my birthday special for me. He even came out to the parking lot to give me a piece of cake when he found out it was my birthday. You see I have Stage 4 metastatic triple negative cancer and brain and lung so just being able to be here to celebrate is special. You are very lucky to have such a caring person works. Thank you Terri Chapman
