Long and narrow concrete pier. Not the nicest piers going but still offers unique views of the coastline. There is a restaurant at the end of the pier and a kiosk at the entrance. The pier is a popular spot for fishermen who fish along both sides virtually the whole way along.

Very peaceful walk along this amazing pier. Some great views of Deal, which stretches along the beach in both directions, as well as distant views of France. Restaurant at end is really nice, plenty of spots for fishing (along the pier and at the end) and you have access to public toilets

The concrete unremarkable structure except for the fact that one can walk a hundred meters deep into the sea, certainly in order to look at the pier, I would not go to the Deal. What was remarkable is that dogs with their owners scurry around the pier in a chaotic manner, in huge numbers, It was remarkable that such a small city has so significant dogs' population

Modernistic pier with good views and a perfectly functional cafe. Has places to take the sun or shelter from the wind.

I recently visited Deal Pier and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The pier is a great place to spend some quality time with family and friends, with its breathtaking views and serene surroundings. Starting with the pier itself, it's a well-maintained structure that offers plenty of space for visitors to enjoy the views of the sea and the surrounding coastline. Whether you're a fan of fishing or simply want to enjoy the sea breeze, Deal Pier has something for everyone. In addition to the pier, there are plenty of amenities available for visitors, including shops, cafes, and restaurants. The food and drink options are varied and delicious, with something to satisfy every taste bud. What I particularly enjoyed about Deal Pier was the peacefulness and tranquility of the area. The views of the sea were simply stunning, and the sound of the waves crashing against the pier created a calming and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Deal Pier. It's a great place to relax, unwind, and take in the beauty of the sea. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's definitely worth a visit.

A traditional pier, with plenty of seating for the full length & an excellent place to relax & enjoy the gentle lapping of the waves. Several anglers were busy with their rods, but not a lot of fish, although all appeared happy to be in the sunshine. At the end of the pier theres an excellent modern restaurant & seperate "coffee shack" selling ices, snacks & beverages ( coffee was excellent!) & lagers. Excellent toilet facilities. Everywhere totally disabled friendly!

If you’re ever down this way then I would highly recommend taking the time to have a nose around Deal Pier and seafront. I’ve been there very early on a few occasions which provided me the opportunity that soak up the tranquility it offers - there’s just something about it, very calming.

There are no entertaiment/attraction facilities, but, if you prefer the relaxing atmosphere, strongly suggested.

We popped to near Deal Pier after having a meal at the Sir Norman Wisdom Weathrspoons restaurant in Deal, which is a few minutes walk from the seafront, It was at night so couldn't see much of the view

Beautiful place. Very peaceful, sat and had a lovely coffee and cake in the restaurant. Plenty of parking and some nice little shops nearby

Even on a wet and windy day, Deal Pier is worth a stroll to enjoy the fantastic views looking back towards the seafront and the surrounding areas, with a cafe at the end for a drink. No fairground rides to interrupt the sound of the sea.

Not bad pier, could do more with the space. Nice outdoor cafe that serves hot drinks, snacks and beer tucked away around the back.

Traditional pier giving good views back to the historic seafront and across to Thanet on a clear day. There's a small gift shop at the entrance, and a café at the end with indoor and outdoor seating. There's step free access and plenty of benches and sheltered seating along the length of pier.

I love walking along the pier. On a clear day you can see the coast of France and see the ferries in and out of Dover. There's a restaurant at the end of the pier, but I've not been there. It's free to walk around the pier, no entry fee.

Excellent place to get great views/photos of Deal and some fresh sea air. Only draw back is that bicycles aren't allowed on the pier so if you're cycling around Deal and want to stop here, you'll have to lock your bike up first.

It's not the most exciting or fancy pier in the world but it boast 2 levels at the sea end, along with a cafe, toilets, shelters, loads of benches and views to sea and the coast

To say the least, there is not much to do on Deal's Pier, but I like that. No bright light, loud music bangin' and jolly amusements arcades... damned, that's no longer a Pier then! Well, there is a splendid vue either side of the Pier and right at the end, I'm pretty sure there is a little acade and a couple of street food/ice cream points for those who made it to the end! One thing you won't see on the Brighton Pier is that angling is allowed on the Deal Pier. It doesnt seem that the anglers are being very successful at fishing on that spot but at least they provide some authentic sea-side activity!

This is not one of the best looking piers that l have ever seen, it is a modern pier made out of concrete! However it is an interesting pier with good views of the coast/deal. You will find a good cafe at the end of the pier.

Nice for a stroll. Great views of Ramsgate one way and Kingsdown the other. On a clear day you can also see the wind turbine farm just off the coast of Thanet, and straight ahead is the coast of France. Cafe at the end of the pier was closed but we bought ice-creams from Deal Beach Parlour.

Just a normal pier, not that fancy like the Brighton pier. There is an ice cream shop at the entrance and a restaurant at the other end. Good views of the water and the city and a fishing spot for those who are interested. Very close to the castle, you can visit here for a leisure walk

Lovely Pier with ample seating for all. Nice way to see the end to a bank holiday Monday with a coffee and the view from the end of the pier.

Nice bracing walk along the short pier on a cold overcast day in June 22. Very good cafe at the end of the pier
