I have been to the Víztorony two or three times this year. I spent some lovely time here during spring and summer. They have a wide-range of alcoholic beverages. I love the game with the lights on the Water tower. They organize concerts and disco nights, too.

Beautiful place! Very accommodating with beautiful views of the city from the top with binoculars. You have to climb to the top. It is in the forest area. The international students meet up which had many students was held here and it was not crowded as the space is adequate. Beautiful during summer. Cards accepted here

Worst experience at the place. I came there from Budapest, travelling 4 hours in the train. I was ready to pay for the ticket. It was just 900 forint. But they refused to issue ticket, citing that a single person cannot be given a ticket, citing it as a safety rule. And those shameless creatures were asking me to bring someone else to accompany. What kind of safety rule is it? And who the hell made such kind of safety rules? There are many other observation decks all around Europe and havent seen any kind of such wierd safety rule anywhere. They say that if any issue occurs to the 1st person, 2nd one could inform. But what if both of them encounters some incident? What is the logic behind such foolish rule? And no moron there was ready to help. I needed just 15 minutes to watch the city from the top and take a few videos. And these shameless creatures spoiled the mood. Another wave of a pandemic should come to shove these rules up to their throats. They will spend time reading their rules at home then. Worst worst worst. I think these morons are too greedy and need more money, thats why the are persuading the tourists to bring more people to buy tickets from them, in the name of such funny rules.

There is an entrance fee of aprox 600HUF. You buy it from the ground store. Then the stairs are through the right side of the bar. You have to scan the QR code on your tickets. Watch your forehead if you re tall when climbing the stairs. Final ascent is a bit scary if you are afraid of heights because you see through the metal stairs down to the ground. Once on top, there is not much to see, because in Debrecen in general there s not much to see. You can take a nice picture of the stadium near by and the aquapark on the other side.

I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. the views were very good I saw the whole city from there. I lowered a star because of the scary stairs and the hard to open doors.

Just attractive! Top view of the Debrecen..full of green area where you'll see and be impressed! It would be very fascinating seeing sunset over here!

Cool looking place, nice atmosphere, drinks are not overpriced, staff is friendly and helpful. Our only issue was, that we had a bigger group of people and it was impossible to sit at one table, because of the narrow nooks of the building and the bulky chairs they have. Sadly the weather wasn't very good, so we couldn't sit outside. Would still recommend if you are going with a smaller group (5-8) or the weather is good enough to sit outside. Food was great, the Buri Buri burgers and fries were delicious.

One of my favourite place in Debrecen. Cosy cafe part with nice prices and they have a cool concert room, I could see many performer here in winter and summer as well +in summer they have garden concerts!

One of the nicest places in Debrecen. Plenty of drinks and snack options. There are events here frequently so it's nice to visit both during the day and at night. A colorful place to have a drink with friends outside.

They wont give ticket to single person. Says that there should be at least 2 people. That is the worst rule there. And no moron wanted to go to the top that day. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Schöne Lokation für Konzerte. Abends schön beleuchtet. Man kann den Turm auch erklimmen und einen Blick auf die Umgebung werfen. Ich war zu faul 😎🤣

Netter Blick. 900 Forint für Erwachsene. Kann man ruhig machen, ist jetzt aber auch kein Muss, finde ich.

During the day you can find better place, at night it's good only to drink with random music on background. Common for "lonely love hunters" - they all come here with hope to fix their broken hearts. Sometimes they form groups and attack lonely victims with not always funny jokes and rarely free drinks. There is music, and that's it. Brutal bodyguards.

The place itself is really nice and usually there are good concerts here but it's not my favorite. Takes too much time to get a drink and takes too long to get to the toilet as the lines are crazy long if there is a party. Would be nice if there were more options...

Nice place with nice beverages. Bought tickets with the kids to go up to the top, that gave a nice view of the surroundings. Somebody did not like the heights that was shown in the format of a puke at the top.

Great view over the city and its surroundings. The best part is climbing the tower. For 4 euros you can climb several routes with the help of friendly and competent instructors. Also suited for beginners.

A nice place in a renewed historical water tower with good wines. Cozy garden in summer time.

Very polite and patient staff. 900 huf for ticket. Free coffee or water in lovely var area also included. Lovely views on the top with really cool binoculars. We were also able to rent bikes for a cycle. Very happy here.

Lovely venue with fantastic night-time lighting outside, great historical location & clean facilities. Helpful multilingual staff, however: Warning: With the pretence of being eco-friendly, the venue’s management has implemented a non-refundable plastic cup SCAM! The bar does not provide glasses & will refuse to refund the plastic cups they are tricking customers into purchasing.
