Do not take anyone that you care about to this place! My father was taken there by ambulance and the ambulance driver and paramedics did a wonderful job taking care of him. When he arrived at the ER, my family and I sat worried on the waiting room for an hour and thirty minutes with NO news. We thought there was still hope. After two hours, they called us to the β€œ family room.” However, it was a closet with two broken chairs and a small table. 2 chairs were suitable, my mother and I sat there. I asked the nurse if there was any news. She said β€œ no they are working with him.” Ok great still some hope. Forty minutes later the dr came in and told us everything he tried and the says, β€œ but he died” Traumatized is not even the word to explain how we felt. This was the worst day of my life. Do not take anyone to this ER!!!!!!

(First, please keep in mind that most of the people that leave feedback are the ones that may have the slightest bit of negative experience, and they usually exaggerate greatly...every single experience I have ever had here has been great...) My entire experience was great! I only waited about 10 min before I got into a room, and had a nurse almost immediately, and the coolest doc ever in about 10 minutes... Rena was the sweetest nurse...she checked on me very often and was sure to always try and keep me comfortable...And the doctor had the most amazing bedside manner... He treats you like your his best friend... I even told my husband that I would totally love to be friends with that guy! I always feel very comfortable here and cared for...

This hospital has some bad reviews and moving to the area I was nervous about my visit here after seeing so many complaints. Granted it's a large hospital, but my experience was excellent! Brought my young son in for outpatient ultrasound and I was in and out quickly. Everyone from the front desk, to check in, to the tech Xray was patient and kind.

This was the best if you have to be in the hospital . The staff on the 2nd floor were very caring and sweet quick to answer any questions I had. Made sure I understood what was going on. Everyone one from the ER and the other departments that treated me they were all great and all worked together really well. Very up beat positive atmosphere .

Had a hernia surgery this morning performed by Dr Figh. I wish I had taken note of names so that I could thank everyone of them individually. But suffice it to say the entire staff was excellent, professional, and very friendly. I have had many IVs over the past few months due to cancer treatment which makes vein identification and establishment of a painless IV often difficult. Although it took two punctures (something very common for me) the nurse was very good. She told me to prepare for a big stick, ha, I barely felt it and it was quickly set up. The in room staff was extremely attentive and the operating room staff was great. They kept me informed of everything happening before anything was done. Well at least as long as I was awake. They made a difficult event very pleasurable. Like most people I don’t enjoy getting older and experiencing an exponential increase in doctor visits and associated surgeries. However this trip was about as enjoyable as a surgery could be made. Thank you Decatur Morgan for making my rainy day pleasurable.

I came here as a translator for my family's maternity care coordination appointment. The staff were so helpful in helping us find our way. I met with the nicest lady called Virginia Wiggins for the appointment. She was very kind, helpful, and patient as I was translating. She explained everything to us very clearly and was very helpful. She got us an appointment in Decatur even though she got news that they were not taking new patients the week prior to our appointment. I appreciated this because it was at our convenience. I totally recommend this hospital if anyone is thinking of having a child or is already pregnant and is looking for maternity care.

Everyone took such great care of me when I went in with pain in the lower-right abdomen. They were quick and personable all through my care and transfer to Decatur General for an appendectomy. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Went to Parkway on Tuesday afternoon about 4PM with some stomach/chest discomfort. My experience with the team that I saw was nothing short of exceptional. They got me into a room and ran various test finally ascertained that my problem was Gall Bladder. Both the Nurse Practitioner, nurses and Doctor all went above and beyond. Would return in a second if the need arose. Thanks so much guys.

Great place for ER visit other than wait time to be seen. Reason being, they weren't busy at all & I waited 30 min after check in & signing paperwork to be seen. No one was there.. then 2 hrs later after X-ray & labs & doc visit I waited to check out , so to speak. I mean, they got more ppl & an ambulance there but that was before my test & such. Had to be there. Hard to sit & wait while I'm not well. I just wanted to go home & rest once I knew what to do. They did apologize for being short handed right before I left. C'mon y'all could have handled things faster. Especially when you had no one else there. My foot was busted up.

I don't know if they even deserve one star! Brought my grandpa in his blood pressure was 202 over 97 and they said "it is just a number he's fine" then we thought he may have a blood clot they hust did an ultrasound and still sent him home! Couple days later he has sporadic heart rates so we took him to Huntsville. Know what they said? We think there's a blood clot so we are going to do all kinds of tests and stuff to make sure that there is not On top of that they checled to see if he had a heart or lung issue oor both. I hope parkway close before they kill people

I went in today to get my knee checked out. 1. They had me walking back and forth with paperwork when I was struggling to walk due to my knee injury. 2. When I was called back for an xray, the guy seems confused and was shocked I was limping and asked if I wanted a wheel chair which I informed him it would be my preference to have one. 3. After my xray, the guy wheeled me to the front door and asked who is picking me up. I was EXTREMELY confused. I never got seen, no explanation, not even any discharge papers. Just LITERALLY dropped at the door and asked whos picking me up.
