I'm an O/O & drive over the road.. these people here respect & appreciate what we do!! The guest laundry was down so they offered to wash my clothes & bedding with their big washer & dryer in the employee laundry room.. no charge, also allowed me to check in at 8:30am before it got 100 degrees outside.. extremely polite & great people!! I will stay here anytime I come threw & will let other truckers & people know about this place!! I give them 10 STARS out of 5 STARS!!!

People rate this motel with expectations instead of rating it for what’s it’s worth. It’s a budget friendly stay, relax y’all. Awesome experience. Staff went above and beyond the call of duty, rooms were neat and nice, all the flaws in the room were all mentioned PRIOR to swiping card. Upfront, honest people. They are going to end their best western contract so it was nice knowing I was technically supporting local businesses. Breakfast was beyond exceptional. Did not think there was much but it was a great selection. Actual Minute Maid juice products, waffle maker…IN THE SHAPE OF TEXAS! Milk, fridge, COUNTRY GRAVVVVVY!! Shower heads were a challenge to use, almost had the infinity spin lol I recommend this location without a doubt People who are leaving bad reviews expect too much from a budget friendly hotel. This ain’t Vegas. You can critique all you want from MGM and Caesar’s palace because you’re paying a kidney for a night. You cannot be complaining about the smallest things for a $60 average room

Exceptional and friendly staff! Clean and stocked rooms! There is so much I love about this place! I have stayed in other motel chains but have never felt at ease: some horror stories include when I stayed at a motel 6…beds were like hospital beds, staff didn’t keep towels stocked and rooms clean regularly, bug infestations, and not any place to keep ur clothes except one single clothing rack, not to mention poor Wi-Fi, and the air system failing to stay cool in the middle of a tx summer. Staying here I know that when I return from work I will be met with clean sheets and towels, beds made, comfortable mattresses for a good nights sleep and everything working! If ur looking into a place to stay keep Scottish inns in Decatur, TX as ur first choice! This is a great place for families seeking lodging.

The hotel is literally turn off the hwy. And if not paying attention (or never been here like us) you may miss it. Not ideal. Carpet was a little frayed in 1 section. And bathrooms a bit small. 1 person can barely squeeze in there. But the lady checking us in, was absolutely a sweetheart. She even made French toast sticks for breakfast for my kids. Definitely made the stay worth it for amazing customer service!

Stayed 3 days and 2 night. Room was cozy and cute. Enjoyed the pool, nice and clear. Really nice hotel and even being next to a busy road it didn't bother us at all. The GM was such pleasant woman to talk to and so passionate about her job. Defiantly will be going back.

Manager Melissa was terrific. Very accommodating, got us checked in early and made us feel like family.
