Good food in a family centered, old country atmosphere. The food is warm and tasty, with a wide selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is polite, courteous and attentive. Cool antiques decor on the walls and a gift area with many cool things to give as a gift or for your home. Conveniently located just off the highway.

December 3, 2023 - We went to the Cracker Barrel after church to celebrate our daughter-in-law’s birthday. The place was hopping, the atmosphere was fun filled, the service was outstanding and the food was excellent. Between the four adults and one grandson our meals varied from breakfast, lunch and vegetarian. Each plate was fresh, hot and delicious. The strawberry, cream cheese filled pancakes were to die for. The chicken tenders were moist and the greens were fantastic. The manager, Gerald, was working the floor, greeting customers and directing staff. Our server, Kim, was one of the best we have had post COVID. I highly recommend this Cracker Barrel.

Stopped here on our way back home to KC. No wait. The server was nice enough. The bathroom smelled horrible. The hashbrown casserole was a little salty but everything was overall decent. Paid $40 for 3 meals, 2 waters and an OJ.

Ordered at the Forsyth location, 2 Blueberry pancake breakfasts to go with the blueberry syrup. Got them relatively quick. Headed home while they were nice a hot/fresh as wife was at home waiting. When had got home, 10 mile trip, found they had put in the regular syrup and not blueberry. Called up the store and got a manager named Deb, she confirmed that they had the blueberry syrup and should have received it as normal routine for our order. She checked and made sure they did have it in stock, which they did. She said if I wanted to come back she would give me the correct syrup. I stated I lived 10 miles away, so 20 mile round trip so more gas and time, plus they would be cold by time I got back and we ate. No, not doing that because they messed up a $22+ bill and couldn't get it right. Remake the entire thing and would have been much happier with outcome. But wouldn't order to go unless you want to eat it right there or in parking lot so you can walk back in to get what they mess up. Their inside service is usually outstanding and food always fresh and very good. Guess they don't care as much about the take out orders. They won't get much of that from us anymore.

Our party of three arrived for a birthday celebration lunch around 11:30 on Wednesday. No waiting, and soon we were seated and enjoying cups of good hot coffee and checking out the menu. Our server, Destiny, was so pleasant and efficient! After ordering, warm corn muffins and crisp sweet creamy coleslaw kept us happy until our entrees arrived. I was so pleased with the super tender roast beef and the mashed potatoes and brown gravy just like grandma used to make. Others had shrimp (perfectly seasoned and fried to a golden plateful) and crispy hot steak fries. This combination received high approval from my table mates. A happy memory of a special occasion, and we plan to return soon.

Waited for beans and greens and pot pie 25 minutes. Beans cold. No silverware had to ask for silverware and napkins. Price for this 25.00. Ridiculous price and service. Sit by the in and out room for employees people getting food before us that had been seated after us. Not going back for awhile.

Cracker Barrel is like home away from home, except you don’t have to cook or clean up the mess. It’s an extraordinary experience., each and every time. He is wonderful to know that every time that you step in to a cracker barrel, you will not only have an extraordinary meal at the staff is very professional. I can’t say thank you enough. Place is always really nice and inviting. I think we may have gone at a bad time about two hours before close because our bacon and french toast seemed a little hard. But our waiter was very sweet.
