Decatur Public Library

Easy in and easy out, I order my books from home, so I only have to go in and check out.

I love this library and have brought my family here for years. If you haven't checked it out, you really should. To me this is a part of Decatur history and one of many attractions in the downtown area. I encourage everyone to stop by, take your own photos and even leave your own review.

The old Sears building. Fun fact. The last building the library was in was a previous Sears building as well. I have seen pictures and heard stories of the way the library looked way back nearly 100 years ago. I do like this library. Unfortunately you run a huge risk of people out front asking for money or the occasional drunks roaming around. The staff do their best to stop this. Nice place. Nice staff.
