A solid fitness club with free weights, machines, cardio equipment, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. I love this place!

I would like to express my opinion about this club. I was a member of Decatur Athletic Club for a year. I am highly dissatisfied with a front clerk service person as my membership was cancelled without any notification, they had issue of processing payment and did not contact me directly over the phone but just cancelled membership with no notice. Today on July 14 2019 I wanted to work out and use pool for swimming and front clerk stated that I cannot and did not offer any solution to resolve this matter. I asked for temporary permit to entry and she declined. It was like slap in the face. So this place now has lost my business since their customer service is so poor. And I will never recommend this place to anyone. Their prices are way too high for membership and service is so bad and needs improvement. A great place for the serious lifter and fitness enthusiast. Specialized area just for indoor tennis, basketball court, 2 hot tubs, 4 lane 25' lap pool, free weights, machines, tons of classes including spin, yoga, and boot camps. No track. Cleaning supplies everywhere for safety and cleanliness. I've never had a bad experience the 3 years I've been a member. Kind and helpful people everywhere.
