Great food and drinks in a well designed space with friendly and knowledgeable staff. This has become our family spot over the last 10 years. Our 11-year-old loves the bucket of fries, as do we! Into steak and he really enjoyed their steak. The food is always perfectly cooked and always has fresh ingredients. Their drinks are really well thought out and they have some mocktails for those of us who don't drink alcohol. The staff are very diverse and polite and very efficient. They've really done a great job with how they're designed the space for seating and are little favorite spot is the little nook by itself. They always play a great selection of music. If you go early you can get a seat but it gets pretty busy on the weekends and on Friday nights.

Had lunch here for the first time but it will not be the last. This location is in downtown Decatur. Nice restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Leon's menu is limited but the food very good. Their burger and chicken sandwich is delicious. The fries come seasoned with your choice of 2 housemade sauces. Try the garlic aioli and jalapeño mayonnaise, good stuff. Our server Kat did an excellent job. 5 stars for sure.

We had a difficult time selecting entries but everything was delicious, the olives and the trout tatar appetizers, The seasonal salad with butternut squash shavings and the grilled tofu. Cocktails were impressive. A delightful evening was had.

I love this place. Everything on the menu is delicious. Especially the pork chop (godlike). Nice outdoor seating - ergo, you can bring your dog :) Parking is a bit tricky in the area, but possible.

This weekend I went to Leon’s with my godmother and had an amazing meal. We had a calm and informative server and I regret not getting his name because I was struggling picking an entree which never happens and he picked for me. Everything looked so good, I wanted 3 different things. He was tall, slim with a small fro (So he can get a shoutout at work; I went 7/24 at 11:30a). Everything came out quickly and I am an honorary member of the clean plate club! Thank you! Beverage: I got the “Rose Hotel” for a drink and it was light, fruity and refreshing..perfect brunch drink on a Sunday afternoon. Entree: My server picked my entree which was their Fish and Grits. It was amazing! Perfectly seasoned fish, perfect ratio with their creamy grits. And that sauce! What was that sauce? It was sweet and savory, just *chef’s kiss* Dessert: So this wasn’t my favorite because the peaches were throwing me off and the cake was a little dry but the cream on top made up for it. I had every bite with the cream and it was divine. Light and flavorful! Will come back and try more !

First time visiting and it won’t be my last. Great experience, excellent service, good vibes and the food and drinks were on point. We dined outside. The weather was perfect and we didn’t have to fight any bugs I highly recommend

What a delightful place for a meal. Our party of 6 had a celebration dinner for my grandson's graduation from Emory University. Everything was fantastic. The Servers were attentive and pleasant. Try the Crispy Tofu, it's delicious.

Had dinner here last night and everything was awesome. It has been a while since I have been at a restaurant where every single thing I had was delicious. Drinks, appetizers, entrée all delicious, flavorful, and fresh. We had the Bacon in A Glass, Peppadews, Hanger Steak, and The Grilled Chicken Skewers....DELICIOUS!!! The vibe and ambiance inside and outside was chill (my kind of place to go). Great customer service. LEON'S is the perfect restaurant for a date, hang out with friends, or even by yourself if you wanted to. I will definitely be returning soon!

Came here today for drinks and appetizers before dinner. We parked in a lot that was about a block away from the restaurant which wasn’t a bad walk, but still a walk. My fiancé loved the decor outside and we were instantly seated when we approached the door. We were seated at one table but moved to another by the waitress because it wasn’t the cleanest. My fiancé did have what looked like parsley in her water glass which was weird but understandable. We ordered two cocktails and both were DELICIOUS! Will definitely be back for the drinks. We had the olives and the charcuterie board and both were great choices. We’ll definitely be back again to try more of the menu which was small but seemed well thought out with quality options.

Partner had mussels which were also quite good. friends each had impossible burger, they said it was mildly overcooked. Kitchen was a bit slow and price was at upper limit of what I'd pay for this, but was overall very good. I'd go back .

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were good and stiff. I gave it for stars because the price was a more than I was expecting. Still awesome! All 5 of us was very pleased with the service and the cuisine. I will absolutely return after I work a few extra hours of OT😁!

This place was awesome. There aren't a lot of menu items and everything my friend and I had was absolutely divine so they must perfect each recipe and item. The flavors of our food was amazing.

The first time I visited Leons I had incredible device from the waitress. Today I had a waiter that wouldn’t allow to change my order literally 3 minutes after I had told him. He said I already ordered it so… and also he would not allow me to order anything I addition to my meal… I wanted to add chicken to a plate and he said no.

I love the front patio and the new side patio at Leon's. Cocktails are amazing and the service is always great. They try to have a variety for vegans and vegetarians, which I appreciate. But I have to say that I really miss the previous version of the vegetable & grain dish when it was mostly vegetables and grains. It's actually more of a salad now with lots of frisee.

The food is usually solid as it still was today. However, make sure that when you give the host your number in order to get on the wait list, have them repeat it back to make sure it’s correct. Having said that, the host was SPECTACULAR. He was professional, courteous, thoughtful, and handled stressful situations extremely well. If management reads this, that man DESERVES a raise. However, our server was non-existent. We sat for over half an hour before he came by to take our order. We had placed the kid’s order with the host because toddlers turn into freaking monsters when they are hangry and the server only came to our table to bring them their food and was surprised when we asked if he could take our order. Not only that, he literally only showed up AFTER we had to ask other servers for help (refill our water, to go box, the check, etc.). So at least 3xs he only stopped by the table after we had to flag other servers for help. It was downright infuriating having to leave him a tip for such awful service. (We still left a good tip because we aren’t a$$holes but it still hurt my heart to do so!) He was also the ONLY worker who wore his mask incorrectly with his nose sticking out. Just ew. Overall, we’ll continue returning because like I said their food is usually solid. Their hangar steak was bomb, the impossible burger was good, the regular fries were the right amount of salty and crunchy, and the kids loved their grilled cheese and ham. They also had yellow bell peppers stuffed with cream cheese that was excellent.

Unconventional menu but relevant to supply for fresh veg, wine, and dessert. In town for conference and the mussels were seriously the best meal of the trip 😋 Thought they were better suited for app so I hesitated to order but loved that I ordered as a meal because all for me 🤷‍♀️😘👌

The staff, server as well as the others running food & drinks were great & very attentive. Atmosphere & drinks were nice, food was so-so. The food was not nearly as good as it had been in past years. Mussels had no depth of flavor, no salt, & too much paprika. French fries used to be thinner and better tasting. Carolina rice was ok, curry sauce was good but vegetable had no seasoning. Hoping the food will improve as we would like to visit again in the future.

Leon's was the first place my wife and I had a date night at, after moving to Atlanta. The service and food are always fantastic.

We a party of 12 showed well after prime hours forna table. The service on the patio was solid, everyone on staff encountered was friendly and ready to deliver any request. Definitely a go back spot!

Wonderful date night at Leon's. Love how all the waitstaff continually checks in on you, makes it easy to order drinks and extra items as well as ask questions. Food was delicious. Agree with other reviews that the menu should be expanded. At least to what is shown on their website! Was disappointed to see the real (shorter) menu when we got there and almost left. Glad we stayed. Loved the yellow jacket cocktail!

Food is always great and the menu is creative. cocktails are to die for but be prepared to have every staff member walk by and take away a plate or ask if you want another drink. Watch out for some waiters, tho, they can really talk your ear off when you just want a calm night. Not worth losing a star because everything else was great. All I ask is that they start validating parking but the 12$ parking was still worth the visit.

Staff was nice. I liked the drink the waiter recommended, but did not like the steak. It tasted a bit gamey and was too tough. It came with fries that had a disgusting white sauce on it. But my friend's salad was delicious. However, for the price he should have had a full plate of salad.

I love Leon’s and have been a handful of times. The cocktail program is amazing, the service is always best in class, the food rules. But tonight, I felt compelled to shoot a review out because Jasmine is literally the best and most accommodating host I’ve ever had at a restaurant! Truly incredible. This place rules.

The food is good, but service was a tad bit slow. We had the Pappadews for an appetizer (pictured) and they were delicious. We also had the Hanger steak and burger. The steak was good but I ordered medium and it was more medium rare. Overall its a quaint place with a nice vibe and good food. Those small things are why I gave only 4 stars. Definitely try it!

Hubby and I came here since he was eyeing this spot for a while and we wanted to grab dinner at a new spot. Located in the heart of Decatur, the spot is super cute with the option of seating inside or outdoor which they have a nice patio! We ordered some of their speciality cocktails that were surprisingly delicious! Crafted beautifully. Beware, the menu isn’t vast but it’s punchy with some quality items. We got the bacon and peanut butter as an appetizer which ended up being super tasty. Our entrees, we got the steak frites that we smashed. The horseradish on the fries were a bit strong for my liking but nonetheless, good. The highlight of this dinner was the dessert. The strawberry crumble, wow wow wow. Soooooooo good! This spot does have brunch so we’re definitely coming back to check it out!

Leon's is not just a restaurant, it's a food artisans dream! You don't wanna miss this one! My love picked this gem for brunch and we were blown away! Every area in Leon's feels intimate and our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I had scallops and grits which was a decadent experience. My love had steak and potatoes which made me wish I could eat both entrees! We can't wait to get back and try some of their other dishes!

Came here for a quick dinner. It was reasonably busy, but not packed out. Atmosphere is great. Started with drinks(french 75 & a Champs Elysees). We shared the bucket of fries, which were fresh and good, especially with the bbq sauce. For entrees, we both had the burger, and I subbed fries for a side salad, which was fantastic. The menu is sort of short, but they execute it well. Parking is on one of the nearby streets. I only took a star away because service could've been more attentive. They initially forgot our drink order, and we had to ask for cutlery, which we didn't get until after our entrees had already come. I'd come back though.

Amazing food! I will be returning next week. The sea bass was epic and fresh. Veggies on the aide were sick! Get it all its all good. Service was flawless . Enjoy!

Severely limited menu. Wasn’t anything on the menu that I could eat except for a salad. It was the size of a side salad and I was charged $8 for the lettuce and $8 for the chicken on top. It wasn’t good. I did get their cream corn and that was pretty good.

The staff is always great here and I love the patio area. I love the brisket, mussels and fries. The leaf blower cocktail was fantastic. A little expensive so I don’t go here all the time, but it is great to go every now and then.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Decatur. The service is unmatched and the food is delicious!

Love this place. The handmade candy bar and goat cheese peppadews are AMAZING. My girlfriend and I will be coming back more regularly when all this covid calms down.

Awesome drinks and tasty food. They receive their vegetables daily from local farms so that makes it a must to order vegetarian dishes at this place. I’m not a vegetarian but I just can’t help it when I’m here.

Overall, everything was excellent

The service from seating to desert recommendation were unmatched. They were very professional and maintained a sterile environment and proper social distancing. Since outdoor seating is the only option due to Covid-19 the patio was very comfortable with nice cool ceiling fans that hung above the tables and this experience was a wonderful addiction to my off day after the gym.

Beautiful patio with great cocktails. However, the ethos of the restaurant is off. The decor and vibe suggest gastropub but the menu and prices reflect those on a 4 star new American restaurant. Overpriced and under delivers. Not sure how this place still stays open.

Leon’s is a great spot. The wings are fab. The brew on tap and cocktail list always has something to please and you can’t go wrong with quality food that tastes amazing. Definitely get the “crack” fries, you won’t be able to stop eating them. The goat cheese peppadew is equally incredible as are the fried chickpeas. Honestly, just close your eyes and pick whatever your hand lands on. I promise it’ll be like an explosion of fireworks on your palate. Can’t believe it took me so long to try this local gem. Now I can’t get enough of it.

I really enjoyed my meal here and I love that they put my two favorite things together: bacon and peanut butter! You have to try the "bacon in a glass"! Very simple, yet delicious! My salad was alsi very good. My friend got the brisket sandwich, which I tried a little of and it was divine!

I was hoping for a good lunch. It started with the waiter failing to suggest any specials, or even recommendations? I ordered a Turkey sandwich which was tiny and the Turkey so dry it was not edible. I also got the carrot salad that was over spiced and hard to bite into. The waiter never asked me how anything was and I had to hound him for the check. Again.....never asked if the food was good, if I wanted a beverage or dessert. What a waste of time and money. #getittogether

I meet with friends this restaurant quite often! This is my favorite spot to eat. I go to this spot routinely. The cooking is of high quality, the staff is welcoming and the rates are good. I like going in this restaurant to have a nice dinner.

Maurice was great. Made the experience smooth and relaxed. The drinks were well made and there is also a very expansive spirits list as well as cocktails. I ate the brisket and also had the mushrooms for an appetizer. I wouldn't say it's the best food I've had, but it is definitely one of the best bang for your buck places I've been to recently. Will be back in the future.

Always a good experience at Leon's. There's a new brunch menu, we had shrimp grits (excellent!) and the chilaquiles, which were very tasty but an unexpected format: like nachos, with a fried egg, crema, and cotija cheese over tortilla chips. Drinks (French 125 and Soul [¿something?]) as always were top notch.

The atmosphere was great. Customer service was good. Drinks and food, delish.

Like always, the food and drinks were great, and I could eat those peppadews everyday, nomz! That being said, I spent years working in the service industry and wore many hats, including serving at multiple restaurants. Having gratuity added before checks are distributed to your small and low maintenance (we asked for clarification on the contents of ONE menu item because of allergies) group will leave a bad taste in any costumer's mouth, especially if/when the service is mediocre. OF COURSE, patrons should always tip, and tip well, 'cause we all got bills and the rent ain't cheap around here... However, with great gratuity comes great responsibility. Nobody likes feeling ignored during a night out.

Leon's has been around forever and I generally love it. I'm knocking off 1 star because I literally went through 3 beers on the list before I found one they actually had, and then my cup of bacon didn't initially come with its peanut butter. Still good food and a great atmosphere though.

Food is great. Cocktails are high quality. Atmosphere is simple but welcoming. Great outdoor in good weather and no TVs.

The food here is excellent and the presentation of each dish will blow you away. The atmosphere is like being in a cafe with service that surpasses many fine dining restaurants. You will not be disappointed.
