When
the
chance
presented
to
visit
another
Beefy's
outlet,
it
was
an
easy
decision
for
we
all
like
pies.
We
ordered:
*
signature
steak
pie,
$6.75
*
steak
and
mushroom,
$6.95
+
2
toppings
for
$2:
chips
and
mushy
peas
*
value
meal
deal,
$12.95
-
with
choice
of
any
lunch
pie
(Thai
green
curry
chicken),
390ml
soft
drink
(or
medium
coffee)
and
regular
chips
This
should
have
added
up
to
$28.65
but
I
only
much
later
realised
I
got
charged
$29.65,
so
don't
know
what
happened
there.
I
was
also
not
offered
any
of
the
free
sauces
that
should
have
been
available.
The
pies
themselves
were
pretty
good,
and
I
was
quite
happy
with
my
choice
of
the
Thai
green
curry
chicken
pie
-
it
had
good
chunks
of
chicken
surrounded
by
a
curry
with
a
nice
bit
of
heat.
The
boy's
signature
steak
pie's
taste
was
on
point,
and
unlike
his
previous
plain
meat
pie
from
another
chain
that
does
pies,
this
one
was
well
filled.
The
only
slight
disappointment
was
with
the
steak
and
mushroom
pies
-
both
wifey
and
our
friend
had
this
pie
and
in
both
cases
finding
a
piece
of
mushroom
was
like
a
game
of
Where's
Wally.
Trying
wifey's
toppers
confirmed
for
me
that
I'm
not
a
fan
of
Beefy's
peas
-
there's
something
about
the
way
they
taste
that
doesn't
appeal
to
me.
The
chips
in
both
of
the
ladies'
toppers
and
in
my
meal
deal
were
good
though
-
always
helps
to
be
freshly
fried
