The service was EXCELLENT! We arrived almost half an hour late. I had tried to call several times to let them know, but was unable to get through. On arrival they were apologetic and understanding. The entrées were fantastic, the cocktails were nice and strong. The mains, however, left a lot to be desired. The seafood was quite overcooked and chewy and didn't taste fresh, like I would expect at such a highly rated establishment. They gave us our desserts free to make up for the disappointment and the desserts were lovely. I think it would be worth going back earlier in the evening and trying again. I've also attended the tepanyaki section of the restaurant and it is OUTSTANDING!! I highly recommend the show. It's a lot of fun and family friendly.

Booked a table for 3 and was seated with a group of 10 and they were celebrating a 30th birthday. Chef was throwing knives, eggs, rice and pieces of meat everywhere. I literally just wanted to eat my dinner. But they kept messing around with games for the birthday party people. Vegetables weren’t even Asian. It was iceberg lettuce??? The lamb was fatty and the chicken was bland/dry. Definitely not worth the price.

The Tempest platter was amazing! Great mix of cold & hot seafood and plenty of food for 2 people. The price is extravagant but we were celebrating our wedding anniversary so splashed out and were very happy that we did. Service was very good, friendly & helpful waiting team & the food arrived quicker than expected. The atmosphere was a little flat for a Friday night with no background music and it's a shame the harbour view is obstructed by the plastic window coverings but obviously it was a cold night so they serve a purpose. Would definitely return to try something else from the menu if all the seafood is as delicious as the platter.

Great location, very tranquil by the dock. Food was good, sat outside under a huge covered area and could bring our dog along. They had menu options for one vegan and one fructose intolerant which made life easier. Certain menu items were a little pricey but others were good value. I would return as the whole experience was worth it and it’s such a nice spot for a few drinks and a chat while watching the fishing boats. Thanks to the staff

The seafood definitely didn't disappoint. The oysters were the freshest I've had in a while. The octopus tentacles were so tender and full of flavour. Service was superb as well. The waitress was very attentive to my son's requests. Kids sometimes asks for the most random things, like a brown crayon.... They didn't have a brown crayon, so she hunted down a brown pencil instead. Normally waiters at restaurants probably wouldn't bother with unimportant childish requests like these, but she went above and beyond!

It's a fantastic seafood restaurant. It's right by the harbor, so you can enjoy a refreshing breeze and good sunlight. There's also a nearby park, and ample parking space is available. It's only a 30-second walk from the parking lot. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is suitable for dates or special occasions. The food is delicious and very fresh. If you're craving seafood or just want a great meal, I highly recommend coming here.

We had the Tempest on teppanyaki menu. It’s a fun and unique dining experience. The value is great that food portion is very generous. Food is fresh and it is tasted very good. The only downside is the teppanyaki room is inside a small room without any amazing view the outside seating offers. And the room is not very fancy compared to those teppanyaki in hotels.

BEST HOSPITALITY, BEST SERVICE from the all the waiters and waitresses. We loved this place. Mostly because our waitress Jordyn was excellent. She greeted us with a beautiful smile & made us feel like VIP's providing the bestest table service making the whole dining experience the best we've ever had. Teppanyaki Grill & the hilarious talented chefs are awesome. Food is so yum. So funny and I haven't laughed that hard in ages. Whole experience was amazing.

Their soft shell crab entrées is very tasty, worth a try. Tempest basket is average (fish was a bit soggy side). The Peruvian Paella is okay. Let’s see how the dessert goes.

First time experiencing the Teppanyaki Grill. What an amazing experience! Thank you Chef Lukey for making our dining experience truly memorable and fun, you made us feel very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and the food it great. My husband doesn't eat a lot of seafood so he has the rib fillet. It is always cooked to perfection (medium rare) I love seafood and the hot and cold platters are fantastic.

This place exceeded my expectations way above the board. Ordered grilled octopus and wild mushrooms as entries and they were absolutely fantastic! For mains we got pasta and seafood paella - they were cooked well in their sauce and were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

Fantastic friendly service from arrival to departure. Seafood restaurant table by the water overlooking marina and fishing boats as the sunsets. Not crowded or noisy at the time we dined. Scrumptious well-presented meal plates from the entrees, mains and desserts. Awesome selection of drinks wine and beer to select from.

We discovered Tempest on a lazy Sunday day out and what a find! Staff are brilliant and attentive and the food is second to none. We had Teppanyaki both visits and were not disappointed. Delicious food, great cocktails and very entertaining chef Luki. Have not laughed that much in a long time. Great interaction for all ages. Well worth a visit . Will not disappoint.

On behalf of my parents. My husband and I visited Tempest during a busy Thursday lunchtime. We enjoyed an excellent three course meal, efficiently served by attentive, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Food was so fresh and delicious, service was fast and friendly and atmosphere was so tranquil, inviting and relaxing. Such an amazing place. Will definitely be coming back.
