The worst hotel! The front desk lady Simone proceeded to charge the wrong credit card, (which was only used to book my reservation,) without the authorization form or manually swiping the card. I told her a credit card auth form was emailed to the hotel this morning but she said she doesn’t have access to the hotel email. She was no help at all when I checked in and her customer service was terrible. when I asked Simone for the manager’s email address, she said she doesn’t know his email info but she gave me the name Cory Casano. I’ve tried reaching out to Cory and each time I was told he would be in later in the day then when I would try after 4pm, I was told he already left for the day. I had Marriott Customer Relations try to reach out to him also and I was told Cory would give me a call but he never did. The room I was in was dirty (cobwebs, dishes in the dishwasher, sticky substance on the light switch, bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke, hair on the floor, the mattress was old and uncomfortable, Etc. The room with a kitchenette, stove, but there were no pans to use for cooking. I also requested a 3pm checkout yesterday (Platinum Member) and Sam confirmed the late checkout.I called again this morning and spoke to Shawn to confirm my 3pm checkout, which he did. I had a DND sign on my door. I come back to my room around 1pm and the room had already been cleaned and the food, water, fruits I left in the fridge were gone, which was supposed to be my lunch today. But I’m still checked into the system. I called the front desk to let them know and the response to me was, “Oh if you come down, we’ll just give you points.” Seriously?? I believe it was Ryan who answered the phone. By the way, I never got a call from the Manager Cory the 5 days I’ve been here. This hotel is definitely not worth $350+/night… this hotel and the service here is definitely way below the Marriott standards. This is probably the worst hotel service I’ve ever experienced in a Marriott chain. Dirty and the worst customer service!

I am a Marriott guy and this hotel was terrible. When your hotel is dog friendly, you should still accommodate for other guests as well. When the small dog on the first floor would not stop barking from 3:00am-10:00am the only response I got from staff was no one's in that room right now. They could have simply called the tenant and fixed the problem rather than ruin a stay for people traveling on business.

I am extremely disappointed in my stay here. I am a frequent Marriott customer and have never experienced an utter lack of cleanliness at any other Marriott. I was traveling for work all day and had arrived late in the evening. Upon arriving, I had noticed there were ants in my bathroom. Given how late it was (1am), how long of a day I had and how early I had to be up in the morning, I decided to address it the morning after. Had it been bed bugs or roaches I would’ve addressed it immediately. In the morning I had notified the gentlemen at the front desk and even showed him a video I recorded. He disregarded me and told me to grab a card to email the hotel’s Room and Divisions manager. It’s been two weeks and I have yet to receive a response. While I should’ve addressed the issue sooner, I was completely exhausted from flights/driving from JFK to Boston and thought that it would’ve been dealt with more appropriately the morning after - clearly that was not the case. Do not stay here. Poor communication from staff and poor cleanliness.

Just called this Residence Inn and the gentleman name Evan picked up welcome me and ask me to hold. Waited 2 min he got back on the call. I had a couple of questions. 1st question if they have a charging port for Electric Vehicles since I maybe renting an electric car. He quickly said no and hung up. I called back immediately and told him you just hung up on me and I had another question. He stated “ Listen Bud I’m checking in someone right now so I’m in rush” his tonality was very demeanor and I ended up hanging up. I definitely did not feel comfortable at all staying at this property. I love Marriott but this is a no go. I never have been spoken to like this at any Hotel especially a Marriott property. I will be reporting this to corporate as well.

Stayed here for a few days when we were having electric problems in our home primarily so we could get a room with a kitchen in order to preserve our many cold food products. On the day of check out, hours prior to the check out time, they threw away an entire fridge and freezer of food, hundreds of dollars of food. We got a weak apology and a 100$ gift certificate. Other than that the place is ok, just really poor customer service if you have any problems

As a Marriott Member this establishment is the worst. I was accused of smoking in the room and called different names due to my appearance. They charged me a cleaning fee which was taken off because they knew they were wrong! I tried speaking with the manager (Joe Farrell) who was a supervisor, engineer, and maintenance worker all in one.... Go figure! After the charge was dismissed a few days later I received another charge because I spoke up for myself. Luckily, I reached out to my credit card company who investigated this matter and took it off. I also spoke with a manager named Heidi who implied that I can no longer rent there because of the actions I took. Trust me I will never step foot there again! BE AWARE!

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. 1st room had no hot water on shower moved to another room that was pet urine soaked. Filthy dirty, draped ripped from ceiling, hire does smell. Late at night so ended up leaving next morning. All belongings smell like pet urine. Terrible experience.

My wife and I came to Boston to visit our daughter. I love this hotel because of the front desk staff especially Lowanda. Words cannot express my gratitude to this precious woman. She needs to make $500 an hour (seriously) She also got our ballet tickets printed and took care of some unruly teens on our floor (Note to Parents: Please discipline your children. The Bible is clear what happens if you don't).

I have a 2nd level room and can hear the hotel cleaning carts, loudly, all morning long. Rooms are not bad and the location is ok to get out of.

Easy location and nice ladies at the front desk. Rooms and decor need some refreshing.

Lovely hotel. Was in town for a seminar and it was the perfect place to stay. If I'm in town again I'd definitely stay here again.

First they tried to put a $250 hold on my room, but lowered it to $105 when I complained. Our room had painters tape on the air vent in the bedroom to hold it up on the wall. The shower area had rust and structural issues like baseboards peeling away from the wall. One of the stove top knobs was torn off. The pull out sofa bed was absolutely ridiculous, very loose frame and the mattress was pretty much just springs and cloth. We had to put the mattress on the floor to make it sleep able. The couch cushions were well stained. We requested extra blankets and pillows since the reservation was for 3 people. We got one extra pillow and a very thin throw. I expect this low quality from cheaper hotels. For $200/night I expected better. We even found dirt in the corners of the rooms and Bobby pins on the carpet as soon as we walked into the room. The room was well sound proofed considering I could hear very loud laughing and talking in the hallway but could not hear it once inside our room. I will say the staff were very nice especially the breakfast people. Although, if check out is set for noon please don't send housekeeping to check on us at 10am. We still had members of our party sleeping after a late night.

Family had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn. From check-in to check-out, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. The front desk staff quickly got me checked into our room. The room itself was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a large common space, nice kitchen, and spacious bathrooms. The Inn's amenities were more than expected. The indoor pool area was relaxing, with plenty of space to swim if desired. The fitness center was well-equipped. The location is was centrally located, close to the highway. Overall a good experience.

Mobile check-in doesn't work, took staff 5 hours to respond to chat feature on mobile app. I was checked out when I was still using the room, and I came back to my room with housecleaning in there. Staff inappropriately confronted us for wanting to use our room before check out time. All tash was thrown in the toilet by housekeeping.

The stinkiest room ever! Rude front door personnel. The girl who checked us in was rude at the very best. I called and complained about the smell and she said to open the window to let fresh air in. The window is cracked open and doesn’t close all the way, so I can hear the noise from the highway. This hotel was booked by our team for a nearby competition. I would never willingly stay here. The manager was arguing with me over the phone, as if trying to prove himself right. Horrible! Then he moved us to another room which is a downgrade as it is a studio instead of a one bedroom. I can hear all the noises possible. He said he can’t move me back to a room as originally booked. Nothing absolutely nothing to welcome a customer was done. Awful place and service.

Great clean rooms that are clearly upgraded. Super helpful front desk personnel and breakfast service. Great location for quick access to highway and outdoor shopping, restaurants and movie theater.

Hotel is a great price and our room was perfect! Clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had many conversations with the staff and everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. The location is walkable to many restaurants, shops, and even one of the train stops so you can utilize the public transportation. We loved our stay and will be back if we are ever in the area again!

If you need a big fridge and want breakfast included starting at 6:30 AM this is good place right next to the freeway and huge outdoor mall with Whole Foods, Legal Seafood, shake shack, movie theater etc.

Great location. The hotel is older and the hallways are in need of paint. The rooms are spacious and have the kitchen and table for eating.

We are platinum members, and our reservation was somehow inexplicably canceled. We drove three hours, arriving at 9pm and the next day we had to be up early and instead of settling into bed, had to go find another hotel because they were sold out. It was actually still an active reservation in the Marriott app when we arrived at the front desk! Nothing was done to make this better. When we called customer service, we were given no explanation for why or how this could have happened, and instead were told “it was canceled by the internet”.

We have been coming here for the last 10 years. Because my older children live here in the Dedham. The staff here is exceptionally professional and friendly. However this visit, there has been a moderate of issues with the room. Like dishwasher not working the vent over the stove not working. Lights were dim. Just seemed a little bit run down. Usually there's a hot breakfast bar children absolutely love. According to staff Marriott has changed the protocol for a hot breakfast bar. And you're left with the same pre-package offerings for days. (We were staying for 2 weeks.) Finally after day 8 they seem to be some hard-boiled eggs in a package and a jalapeno biscuit in a package there was no more gluten-free bagels. Today there almost at end o viat there was some bagel sandwich in a bag. (To be fair hot mini waffles are still offered. No toast..biscuit no gravy.) The fruit was your typical banana and orange. Some cereal and yogurt. However as I stated before the staff was exceptionally friendly and apologize for the lack of fresh food daily. Before the pandemic there used to be socials at the hotel. Now there is nothing. Meaning they used to have snacks and things every other night. Grill area is okay a little bit dirty but okay. You have to bring your own tools to use the grill. So that is an option. The indoor pool is not quite heated and there's no area for you to lay out in the sun if you choose to. There is a tennis court but they no longer have any tennis balls or basketballs for you to play with so you would have to bring your own. I would say I would probably return because of the closeness legacy place and there is a 50s diner where you can get a fairly decent breakfast. however we are spending upwards at $350 a night during high season so having to pay for breakfast on top of that is unreasonable. So if you don't do beef or pork then I highly suggest that you buy your groceries beforehand and if you're gluten-free and don't do chocolate bring your own. If you're staying longer than a few days I also highly suggest you bring air freshen up here because there's a lot of cooking going on and ventilation is not good. Also make sure you bring a small hand broom because there are no cleaning supplies in the room for you to use in case of accidental spills
