Pleasant surroundings, great staff and excellent libations. Food is so so good. A real treat. Nice selections however no non alcoholic beer. Absolutely the best sushi in Florida.

Absolutely loved this place. I will be back soon. I never would have tried it on my own, as I don't care for sushi 🍣, I went with family boy am I glad I did. Give this place a try, you won't regret it. Very unassuming on the outside beautiful inside & servers are awesome.

There is a reason this place has so many good reviews. The food is awesome! Sushi, appetizers, everything. We had an awesome server last night, I believe his name was Michael. Taller, with a bun. He made the experience that much better. We will be back regularly for the awesome sushi. Atmosphere isn’t your typical sushi restaurant, it is much more upbeat. The food also came out really quick!

I’m SO SO happy today, found this sushi spot and it’s good! A true test to me is having sea urchin and preparing it well- Fin served it to me interestingly and very tastily wrapped in cucumber. All fish was fresh (including amber and striped jack), well prepared with good quality wasabi, soy, ginger and most importantly rice quality and taste is high. I had given up on finding a good close by spot and had made my kids learn to make sushi, this will take the pressure off of them occasionally :). I’m not usually looking for much atmosphere when I go for sushi, if the place has it great and Fin offers above average sushi, music and decor, pleasant place to dine. Lastly, the staff is super friendly and attentive without intruding. High recommend for the Port Charlotte area, doubt there is better

This RV family seeks out the sushi wherever we go. We know great sushi! Fin Sushi delivered on that and more! What a presentation for the meal, but the rolls and gyoza were to die for. I prefer the harbor roll, while the rest of the family loved them all! Get here and eat in you're in the area.

We had never been here before so decided to try it with our kiddos who love Japanese food. The service was absolutely deplorable. We had to flag our server down to even place a drink order, then our drinks were forgotten. Any time we needed something we had to flag her down - she never came and checked on us or if we needed anything - and often we had to request items again as they were forgotten with no apology. The edamame was saucy which was very different and we would probably not order it that way again. Also the Tuna Tartare was hard to eat out of the cup as a group, so appetizers were so-so due to minor things. The sushi was good, and they had lots of different rolls to try from. My husband got the combo platter, but instead of several different nigiri to try from it was only a few fish with duplicate rolls, which was not how our server described the dish. Our youngest got the Chicken Hibachi and he said it was absolutely delicious. Would have loved to go back and try some other rolls and appetizers, but will never stop again with such bad service.

I debated giving Fin's a 3 star rating instead of a 4. I wish there was a 3.5. The atmosphere was pretty and inviting. We went on a Saturday evening and it was pretty busy but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Unfortunately, after we were seated, they forgot about us.We were at our table for about 15 minutes until we saw the hostess seat another group and we got her attention. She took our drink order and said someone would bring them out. 5 minutes later our waitress came over took our appetizer order and 5 minutes after, brought our drinks. The service for the rest of the meal was intermittent. Our appetizer (rock shrimp with spicy aioli), was pretty good, the soup and salad were also pretty tasty. However, our rolls were neither hot nor cold. We ordered the spicy maki combo and a tuna avocado roll. The temperatures just seemed off, the cooked rolls should've at least been warm and the raw rolls should've been cold. Overall, it's a nice place but I'm undecided about returning.

We sat down at the bar for drinks and food but we were ignored for 10 minutes so we left. It was busy but all you had to do was acknowledge our presence by saying hello and we would have continued to wait.

Fin is in my regular rotation. The service has never been outstanding... but not horrible either. I did ding them a star on food as once I ordered filet hibachi, but what I was given was NOT a filet. They did eventually bring me out the correct cut. I prefer going for lunch... the chicken katsu bento box is a deal and I always have enough for a second meal. Sushi is pretty good too! And the Happy Crab??! I'll take 47 of those.

My first time at Fin Sushi was excellent! Kelly, our server, was a delight and gave phenomenal service - great personality!!! We had several sushi rolls served on a large sushi boat and a steak & shrimp hibachi. I highly recommend! I will definitely be back!

Best sushi place in the port Charlotte area. Nicely decorated interior with comfortable seating. On busy nights you could expect a wait for seating. Wide variety of sushi. Great taste and plating decorations. Good hibachi choices also. The prices are reasonable for higher quality food.

Great food and great service. This is my go to sushi restaurant in Port Charlotte Florida, and it never disappoints. Visiting friends and especilly a 10 year old girl that l is like my own daughter. I introduced her to sushi and sashimi and now it is her favorite food. Fin sushi always has Uni (sea urchin) and Ama Ebi (raw sweet shrimp and fried shrimp heads) and their sashimi is awesome. Great Hamachi belly and fatty salmon. Dozens of incredible rolls, all tasty and beautiful presentations. Black dragon roll and spider roll are great. Sushi bar is awesome but when with guests who do not eat sushi table service is excellent. Highest rating for food & service.

Amazing sushi!! Lunch specials are worth every penny. Ask for the yum yum sauce, eel sauce and spicy mustard. Beautiful presentation complete with lights! Very nice, clean bathrooms, restaurant is very pleasing to the eye. My number one for the area.

Got the hibachi when I went meat was tuff and chewy also had little flavor, the fried rice was not fried rice it was steamed and had no flavor as well, the sushi did not taste fresh at all tasted old and smelled, would not recommend going to this restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fin Sushi and Grill is an absolute gem of a restaurant. Service was impeccable and spot on. Atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have an extensive menu, not just Sushi. For a meat and potatoes kind of guy, the food was nothing short of delicious. New layers of flavor with each bite, cooked to perfection and large portions. Perfect place for special occasions, a romantic dinner with that special person, or just treat yourself to a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning.

This is the best sushi we’ve had in SW Florida. Tuna is dark red as it should be and very high quality. The toro is fantastic. Kids love the bento boxes. Atmosphere is casual and family friendly. The chefs know what they’re doing and the servers are friendly and attentive.

I chose this place because of the amazing reviews and they are right. Delicious, fresh sushi. Started with fried rice and spicy edamame. Then ordered California and Alaskan roll along with Mt. Fugi and Dancing Jalapeno roll. Service was nice and prompt.

The food is unbelievably delicious, shrimp, lobster, filet mignon, clear soup, seaweed salad, sushi is awesome. Our server he was great and trust me it was busy here.

This is the best sushi in town. Come here all the time, it’s always five star service. They just upgraded the menu and y’all 10 out of 10 and our server Kevin was amazing he put us on some sauces that truly topped the meal off just right I definitely recommend this restaurant and ask for Kevin!

The environment is really nice, staff are friendly. Sake cocktails are delicious!!! Everything we ordered we loved! Chef/owner was there, came to us, gave us somethings to try (delicious) and gave us tip for next time! We are excited to come back there soon.

We eat here quite often. Food is always fabulous. Our waitress tonight was Jessica. What an absolute delight she was. The restaurant was a little warm tonight and I am sure she was warm since she was on the run as it was busy, but she did not miss a beat with being pleasant and very attentive. We left a large tip to compensate her attentiveness.

I’m glad I stopped here to eat sushi. Flavor is incredible good. I totally recommend it. They serve as a complementary happy crab, so delicious. Sadly for me that I live so far away from these restaurant.

So so so good. Seriously, the quality of food is incredible. We ordered only sushi and it was more than enough for two people: the Triple Salmon, the Tokyo Monster, the Sweet-Heart, and the Titanic. All such different types of sushi, and all were prepared to perfection. They all have a tendency to be spicy (so beware if you do order those). The portions are just right as well. Service was awesome - super friendly staff. Super impressed and super happy that we discovered this gem!

Yesterday was my first time here. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer server/ bartender Daniel. I ordered a glass of wine which was poured into a nice chilled glass( always a plus👍), a Philadelphia roll and a side of noodles. Everything was excellent from start to finish😊 I will definitely be back soon!!

Wish I could write my whole experience on here two experiences back to back dining in, will never eat here again waiting 2hrs for food missing order multiple lies being told by the server and training sever when we were allowed to even order our food, which I’ve never heard from a server in my life including me being one over 4yrs, then repeating our order, forgetting a whole entree after the refire of our cold food brought out, I had to get up let the manager which has always taken care of me know, and was reassured we’d be taken care of, was issued a $20 gift card for my experience after understanding the bill was taken care of now adding to it with me gifting that card to my mother and them taking it from her as she went to use it on her lunch and the owner stating to my mother her son had walked out on my bill. You guys need to do better that’s absolutely unacceptable business. I praised this place up until then with multiple posts on social media and sending you even more business with my recommendations you’ve lost a valued customer over your poor practice of not only timely service but now causing 4 people to share a poor experience. I get the customers not always right but in this case this was on poor execution of service all together as well as professionalism. Had I known that was all that was willing to be done for us clearly I’d have told you to keep that gift card and let you know then and there I was not accepting that as a solution. Keep your gift card, I won’t be returning to your establishment. The owner is a sweet lady and she means well but that was just a final staw for me what my mother was put through on top being so embarrassed by management. Should be embarrassed of yourselves.

I ordered a Seafood Delight Hibachi Dinner(takeout) got all the way back to my room to realize I only had lobster. I called bk & spoke to Kelly who extremely helpful in getting the situation rectified. Thank You Kelly for your hospitality!!!

Went out for dinner Thursday night after work with a friend, the place wasn't that busy and we were seated right away in a booth. We waited about 20 minutes with no one coming to our table to take drink orders or to let us know it would be a few minutes. We were never acknowledged. We decided to leave, the hostess did not even recognize that she had seated us while we were heading to the door. She told us to have a nice night. When I informed her as to why we were leaving she did nothing to make it better or try to make it better just nonchalantly said sorry.

Best sushi for your dollar, like OMJ. Place was crouded and pur server tiffany didn’t once make my party feel like we waited. Ever table was seated and we felt like we were the only people in the restaurant, hands down best service I have ever received. The sushi is delicious and super value priced. Just moved from California to Florida, and this is better or equal to my favorite place there.

There restrooms are absolutely disgusting. The back of the kitchen is absolutely gross and on top of that when there making the rice and it’s done they have it sitting on a garbage can and they also have other food on garbage cans because of no room i honestly am calling the food department because the chef was also eating his food over chicken that wand even cooked yet so prices off food that were falling out of his mouth was going over all yalls chicken that you eat. And let’s just also stop and say how nasty the manger Emily is the first night me being there she was just rude . And she made the server tell me to go home instead of herself and she pretended to act cool all night to be a show off
