Came from NJ and went camping in Stonington. Was amazing experience for the kids to go searching for snails, crab and lobster parts, shells and wildflowers. Totally need to stop at the beach and enjoy a good hour or two at least.

Very nice place. Take a hike to the secluded beach. There are thousands of snail shells and a great view of the Deer Isle bridge.

Nice little area to get out and walk around. But, it would be great if there were more historical stories, plaques, or information boards put up to describe this family's history. It is one thing to walk to the homestead, but another to show the historical significance of the family, the homestead, the land, etc...

Small-ish nature preserve with paths that lead down to a beach area, which was the best part of the park. Cool sculpture near the parking area.

Nice stop on the way top/from Stonington past the causeway. Easy walk to the water through the woods.
