Such a beautiful, spacious, and CLEAN park! A great area for picnics, playtime, jogging, walking, swimming etc. I took my toddler here for the splash pad :) it was a blast! There’s plenty of shade to hide you from this Texas heat

This park is really nice. They have good restroom, great for family gatherings and even just to think. Thank you for making this park beautiful for us and me.

Beautiful place! Walking distance to Deer Park City Hall, A Boys & Girls Club and Local Theater. This park has a grand pavilion display, offering the entire view of grounds equipment. This safeguarded location is fit for any gathering. By the entrance, A Billboard displays the most current schedule of Booked events. As of January 10,2022 , January 2022 posting had no scheduled events. The board also listed the contact information for Deer Park City Hall as the contract reference. Stating that β€œreserve an area for events, to schedule; call city hall,” but no reference to cost or stipulations.

Reserved the large pavilion for my daughter's birthday party, on the morning of we got a phone call stating that the splash pad and restrooms weren't working. Otherwise my family and I have been here many times and the park is usually clean and well maintained.

My kids loved the park, I didn't know that there was a free splash pad.so I didnt bring swim clothes or an extra change of clothes. Luckily my husband was willing to bring a change of clothes so the boys wouldn't have to ride home wet. They also have a wonderful trail and fitness equipment.

Such a peaceful place to be. Safe if you want to run by yourself, perfect for a picnic. I love all the birds and squirrels that make it a great place to relax.

I used to really enjoy this park, but it's not a friendly park anymore as a matter of fact it is kind of scary. The parents that show up with their children are aggressive for no reason and the children without parents have been taught to be disrespectful. Police need to be out there now also there is so much activity in the way of remodeling but nothing is ever completed. People don't clean up after their animals and when using the walking path they walk on the left making it difficult for us to walk.

Don’t mind the construction, the park is still there! It’s got a great walkway, pavilions, picnic tables, benches, playground, restrooms and more! The splash pad works! The water fountains may or may not work!

Used to love playing tennis at these courts but lately the courts have been overrun with Pickleball players that play for hours with large groups. Might need to build 2 more courts specifically for Pickleball

We always come here with the the classes after field trips. They do an impeccable job at keeping the park cleaned and maintained. The restrooms are very clean and in working order. The covered tables are so convenient, and for 70 students for us to have lunch after our field trip. The kids always have a blast with all of the play grounds options as well.

It is always good to walk at Dow Park, but I haven’t been since the tornado. I went in mid June and on my walk I was delighted to find as I rounded a corner a piece of beauty out of the damage of the tornado. Someone carved a remaining tree trunk into a smooth welcoming chair. It beckoned me to sit a spell and feel the warm smooth carving. It reminded me that like a phoenix, something wonderful can be created in the midst of trying times. You must go to Dow Park, enjoy the pool, the tennis courts, the soccer fields, outdoor gym and playground. Take a walk, and when you round the corner… sit a spell.

This park, in Deer Park just happens to be one of the cleanest safest parks that i have been to in a long time. Its very rare to find parks with clean bathrooms and this park every single day has the cleanest bathrooms. Also great for families to have parties and to take the little ones to have fun and play at the water park. Also something i love about Dow park is if you take a bag of peanuts with you through the park you will be tailed by the parks squirrels until you share with them!!!

This is one of the most beautiful parks in Harris County! Well kept, friendly people and nice surrounding neighborhoods.

Brought my kids to the splash pad today, Friday at 4 pm and it was shut off. I called parks and recreation and the pool office and got no answer. The hours say Tuesday thru Sat 12-7. There was another woman there with her daughter wanting to play in the splash pad as well. She had no idea why it wasn't on either. Do better dow park

Nice park. Would love for them to add a place to play basketball somewhere there. The only ones that are available look like they belong to the elementary school nearby. Love the events they host year round there.
