The
Florida
Renaissance
festival
is
a
GUARANTEED
good
time.
My
family,
a
big
group
of
friends,
and
I
went
during
Celtic
weekend
and
we
had
the
time
of
our
lives.
The
festival
opens
at
10
am
and
remains
open
until
sundown.
Here
are
some
things
to
keep
in
mind
when
you
go:
bring
cash
because
there
are
some
food/beverage,
activities,
and
vendors
that
do
not
accept
credit
card.
I
would
say
100-200
should
suffice
depending
on
how
much
you’re
drinking
or
what
you
want
to
purchase.
Next,
I
would
say
to
buy
your
tickets
online.
The
option
to
buy
tickets
at
the
door
is
available,
but
the
lines
are
horrendous.
When
you
purchase
the
tickets
online,
they
send
you
a
QR
code
and
you
are
right
on
in.
Word
from
the
wise,
try
to
be
patient
with
the
line
to
go
through
the
security
check.
It
is
quite
the
lengthy
line,
but
it
moves
rather
quickly.
Purchase
the
VIP
parking
pass
and
get
there
early.
While
there
is
PLENTY
of
parking,
I
will
tell
you
that
if
you
are
not
there
early,
parking
will
be
a
pain
and
you
will
be
walking
a
could
half
a
mile
at
least.
Pack
sunscreen
and
wear
clothes/shoes
that
you
do
not
mind
getting
dirty.
The
festival
is
made
up
of
mostly
dirt
roads
and
your
shoes,
pants,
and
every
single
crevice
on
your
body
will
get
dirty.
In
addition
to
that,
it’s
South
Florida
and
the
sun
is
blazing
hot
from
around
noon-3ish.
In
all,
it
was
a
great
experience,
the
kids
enjoyed
it,
and
there
was
plenty
of
things
to
do
for
people
of
all
ages.
