During long time we couldn’t figured out how help our son with his struggles, specially with Mathematics... until we heard about Sylvan and how much this specialize program is been helping the kids to reach their goals. In just few months our son improved tremendously, he is happy and more confident... we hope the best in this new scholar year and looking forward on his continuously progress!! We’ve had such a wonderful summer at Sylvan in Defiance. We’ve watched as our son’s skills in math and reading have greatly improved, but the most rewarding aspect has been seeing his own self confidence rise up. The teachers have all been fantastic, and sign-up/scheduling was a smooth, easy process. Hands down the most important investment we have ever made in our child’s development. We have gained so much more than academic skills at Sylvan this year, we’re already looking forward to coming back!

My daughter was really nervous about trying a tutor, she thought they'd make fun of her for being behind. But we've been using Sylvan for about a month, and she's showing a lot of confidence in herself and her ability to learn.

Sylvan has made a huge impact on my daughters life. She went from having little confidence in school/education to being extremely confident and happy to go to school. She loves what we call "Sylvan Saturdays" (one of the two days she goes each week) and has really enjoyed meeting other children and has become close with the friendly staff. My 7 year old son was struggling in school with his reading..so we decided to take the step in rolling him at the learning center and it was the best thing we did for him. It's been alittle over a month and already he's more confident and I can see progress. The excitement I see in him to go makes me smile he loves the teachers and so do i, they make us feel comfortable enough to leave him there which I've never done before. I can't wait for what the future brings .Thank you Silvan learning center staff .

Sylvan of Defiance has been a great help for both of my kids. For my son, we started out with help in reading. It was so successful that we added math and then transitioned to homework support. He now enjoys the STEM program. My daughter started this summer to stave off summer learning loss. She is ready to start 1st grade with confidence. One nice benefit of the program is that you pay once for testing and can retest as often as you like for that one fee! However, the BEST perk -- by far -- are the staff and the teachers. They greet you by name and make sure you feel welcomed every time you enter the center. More importantly, they genuinely care about the kids and their success. I couldn't ask for more! Kudos to Erica, Sunshine and all the teachers. Well Done!

Sylvan has really helped our son! They not only work on the skills their evaluations recommend but they also help with the homework that gets sent home. Over the course of my son's classes I have seen a tremendous improvement!!
