Good place for a quick bite and food take away

Good place to take a seat and have a snack in the evening. The range of different types of bakery products to select were very good. Pastries and buns were tasty and reasonably priced. But after the 1st and 2nd waves of pandemic, the range of selection has been reduced to almost 4 to 5 products. Seating area is not clean like before. Because of placing the trash cans right next to the tables and not keeping them cleanly causes a very bad smell and makes the place very unpleasant. Also the food stealing crows are a real headache. Have wait at the table to protect the food from these crows. And they'll don't even let you go to the taps to wash your hands. Current overall experience is bad 👎

This place is really good for a quick bite. Since it is managed by the Sri Lankan Army they serve high quality food at very reasonable prices. Tea buns, sausage buns ,fish buns, various other buns,fruit juices, cool drinks, Sri Lankan breakfast ,lunch ,and fried rices are also available. There's only outdoor seating available where there's around 10 tables with a hut on each. The tables are far apart from each other and the place is windy ( not too much- just to the level we need) because of the lake on the opposite side of the junction. There's no parking space right in front of the restaurant but there's abundant space on the opposite side of the road. So you can park your vehicle there and get to the shop easily. I've been here since the day it opened (around 10 years ago) and I guarantee that the food's simply great!!

One great place for a quick bite, cashier seems to be well groomed and smiling, Was very quick on his order taking. Yet the food server need more smiling on his face... he needs more kind words and happy words when serving... I noticed this place was well maintained and clean very attractive 3 to 4 years back... and now i don’t see that shine... i would like to suggest, To have clean tables / Less Flies / wash basin area more clean dry and refreshing to use more / staff need to be educated on welcoming the customers / color wash to make place more enjoyable. I recommend this place for anyone who’s interested in having a small snack...

Dine in and take away food available. Perfect location. But the menu is not much. It's better if they can check the quality of kottu. parking available. Also have fresh juice

Nice place with delicious food. No private parking only road side.Manage by Rathnalanka catering. Rice and curry, fresh juice, shorteats available with average price.. Self service.

Overall good. Service and the courtesy of the staff could improve.

Good spacious place with variety of dast food on affordable price. But since it's situated on road side, it's hard to find a shade. Yup there are few huts with benches and chairs but shade is not enough. Any way food is really good and tasty. Specially not too expensive compared to many other similar places.

Nice place to stop for tea or coffee over some "helapa", "pol cake" or lavariya in the afternoon. They've lunch too at very affordable prices. Juice bar serves yummy fresh drinks.
