Do not recommend this place any serious illnesses. All doctors do not have much experience and will misdiagnose your pet. NEVER keep your per overnight as there is one inexperience boy who they call a “doctor” but does not have any formal training. They will not be near your pet, instead be in the other room on their phones. Next day, you will get a call saying your pet has passed away. This was my experience along with many others at this place. Please do not go here for any serious illness.

I highly do not recommend. Do not go there. Couldn’t identify the sickness even after 1 and a half months. Your pet will suffer if they hv a serious illness. They r good for regular check ups only. Yes they may be treating pets kindly but thats not what we want ryt? Think more than twice before taking your pet here. If u can, avoid this place by all means.

The name needs to be changed as “ Worst Care “. Seems like every vet in the facility is testing their knowledge & try to learn, get their experience by using your pets. They don’t have experience/knowledge to diagnose the correct illness & issue the correct medicines to your pets. Totally waste of your time , money & finally you will lose your pet as well.

Please DO NOT take your pet there. My dog was in a critical condition and in return the treatment and care they gave was extremely disappointing. They couldn’t identify the sickness in the beginning and didn’t attend to the situation as they should’ve. Almost like they gave up so easily and waited for my dog to pass away. The experience I had with them was horrendous and heartbreaking. If you love your dog don’t take him there. Don’t repeat the same mistake I did

Please for the love of your pet don’t take them to this place. The doctor had no idea on what they are doing and absolutely horrendous customer service. Never answers phone calls and emergency ambulance has to be booked 2 to 3 days before. Utterly bad service.

Have been a customer for more than 15 years but now its the worst service ever ! Their home visit ambulances are manned by junior vets lacking experience. Being a hospital they dont even have suppository which we have to buy outside. Each day transport charges differ even if its the same distance. Their charges are unreasonably high compared to Airforce Skypet hospital which is far better. Phones are hardly answered & if they do, the guys are useless. They dont respect the customers nor treat them seriously. Honestly, if there is another Ambulance or home visit service, would avoid Best care which is Worst care ! Their front office & call centre staff are unreliable & do not deliver as promised.

For the love of god i beg you Dont let best care take care of your pets they killed my cat and 5 of my other friends cats, when we told them to give medicine for one problem they give medicine for a different problem and they send trainees not the professional vets so please spread the word.and they will kill all your animals best care(hell naw) worst care (yes) .and its so expensibe

I wonder how they got the name Best care when they killed my dog. With lack of medical attention. So many unkind heartless people to work in very unhygienic environment and methods of handling our pets. I took my dog for orthopedic surgery but withing one day he died due to lack of oxygen level and passing out blood. They released the dog with the cannula on his hand. Is it best care if the surgery is successful? Their back yard is so unhygienic. Keep all the dogs in one place by putting a very tight mask on the dog in a cage. My dog ran out of oxygen may be due to that and do not give saline until the dog falls down. Did not see any license certificate even displayed anywhere. Please do not take your pet to worst care pet shop if you love your pet.

I took my dog because the dog had high potassium levels requiring urgent treatment. to treat high Potassium levels frequent K+ levels checks are required. I took the doggie thinking that Best Care and Stat Profile blood analysis machines which can give essential electrolyte results within 10 minutes. I was really shocked to find out that such a highly praised Animal Hospital had no Intensive Care facilities and NO stat profile machine. After taking the blood, I was promised that they will have the blood results in about an hour. Hours went by but no one phoned me with the results , despite phoning the clinic several times. They promised that the doctor ( Australian trained) will call me back but they never did. Sufficed to say the dog died in the night. Over the years I found that most Vets in Sri Lanka are very poorly trained and have no post - graduate training in Surgery or critical care. And the Vetrinary Degree given by the Peradeniya University is not recognised by Foreign Veterinary Institutes for post- graduate training abroad. L Dalpadado, FRCS( Edin) FRCS ( Glasgow)

Do not take your pet here.they couldn’t recognize the illness even after two months.the staff is not experienced enough to treat a serious illness.they only can do routine check ups. And can’t even do that properly too coz they missed to give a vaccination smtime.if you love your pet do not even think of going here.it’s high time we all understand that the so called posh places are not so good after all. I found Best Care Animal hospital to be the best pet care animal hospital in town. My dog Lunar was diagnosed with pyometra and my local vet recommended that she go into surgery. We chose BESTCARE for this. From day one which was the day of the emergency surgery to date we’ve been offered the best of care. I love how they maintain digital records and how doctors come prepared before each session before they see your pet. The nursing assistive staff are also well trained and qualified to handle pets which is a relief. I am absolutely satisfied with the service and wish them the very best to extend their services to the country with their assured TLC. My dog is back being herself!

We took a neighbouring dog there because she was sick. They gave her a good treatment but they were very unprofessional when it comes to informing the owners about the sicknesses. Another time we took our pet to get vaccinated and they barely ask any questions or the history before deciding what they should do. And they decided to not give the vaccine even though they told us to come on that day. We immediately changes places and the other vet was so informative and explained everything to us and gave the vaccine. Complete negligence at worst care animal hospital.

This place is good for vaccinations, deworming and other non critical services. however, if your dog is actually sick and needs to quick treatments, this place isn't recommended.

The Mobile Pet service is very efficient and helpful. My dog is a bit aggressive and we prefer getting her vaccinated at home. The visiting doctor is kind and patient. I have been using happy pet animal hospital since last year and will continue to do so. ☺️

A very equipped animal hospital with many facilities. They are open for most part of the day which is very useful. Staff have been pleasant and caring in all our visits for our feline furry members at our household. The waiting time can be a bit long though they have a priority based ticket system to ensure emergency cases are handled fast. There is also a small pharmacy and pet accessories shop which is part of the building . The parking space is for about 4-8 cars in a squeeze .. you can park in the road but best that a driver stays as it's a narrow road and fairly congested. One negative is that you have to be careful of your pets as it's a roadside building and the waiting area has no fence to stop a pet that might jump and run.. any such situations your pet is likely to get run down by vehicles that go on that road.

4 Days ago from today me n a friend went this animal hospital for save wounded wipd baby monkey life. But without take a proper looked one of this hospital staff said they can't do the treatment sso go to the wild life office in aththidiya. SO I PERSONALLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL A SUITABLE PLACE FOR YOUR LOVING PET OR ANY ANIMAL

Took my 13 year old cat to them. She was very sick and weak. They did various tests and diagnosed a ear infection which they gave medicine for. What she really had was kidney failure which they didn't diagnose. They failed to give her saline. When I called the doctor who had checked her, she didn't bother to answer or call back. I took her to a different vet who finally started treating her for kidney disease, but it was too late by then. My cat passed away days later 😢. The atmosphere in the clinic is noisy and chaotic. Not ideal for sick pets, especially cats.

The doctors are kind and qualified. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.

I've taken my pets multiple times over the past few years and they've never let me down. The waiting times can vary based on how busy it is. The doctors and helpers are experienced and really care for the animals. Would reccomend this place as I haven't yet come across and negative experiences.

Don't ever take your pet here. They gave my cat anesthesia without emptying his stomach which led to vomiting. They also sent him home when he was still semi-conscious. My baby ended up getting aspiration pneumonia and lost his life. They will try to cover it up and will not take responsibility.

More like 'Best to keep off your pet from their care'. Ruined my pet dogs life. Take ages for diagnosis, if at all they do. Surgery not safe at all. No follow-ups with biopsy etc. Wonder why it has taken so long to sue them for lives lost of negligence. Shifted to PetVet. All wrongs that they did to my pet's life are being slowly corrected. But too late. She may not live long :-(

They should give appointments even for vaccinations. I had to wait 2 hrs for the vaccination and it took only 10 mints to job done. This is soo pathetic. Hope Best care will consider this matter as early as possible.

Visited twice. They do a good job. Charges are reasonable. The only problem is that the place is crowded sometimes. Several examining tables are placed in the closed vicinity, hence only one person is allowed inside with the pet. Better to take an appointment before the visit.

First of all I have to say that this clinic gives the best of the service as mentioned in the name My Rocky the German shepherd could not walk while he was at the beach Immediately I took him to this clinic and they gave a comprehensive check-up and tests as well they gave a value for service And the doctor and the staff were very friendly with the pet and kind They immediately diagnosed the issue and it was a urine infection and gave the medicine The special thing was the after treatment, surprisingly the doctor gave two calls to check on the status of my Rocky that is impressive thank you very much for your kind service I highly recommend this institute Thank you again

I highly recommend this place. Very professional and assistants there are very kind towards animals. Dr. Danajaya is a well knowledgeable vet and he cured my cat baby 'Malaicca' from a critical urinary infection. My baby is all fine today and forever thankful to Dr. Dananjaya and his team. Points to be noted : they can improve customer service more, especially front desk staff.

Had a house visit by the vet since my dog couldn't walk and his legs had more or less given up on him. He was 14, so I thought he was getting closer to the end, since it was his age. However after the doctor's visit, check up and medication (which was just a few simple physiotherapy exercises and an oil) his condition improved dramatically. He's up and walking about now within just two weeks!

I took my 9 month old cat to this clinic because it was sick. Cat was very active even when being taken. The cat died in front of my eyes within 5 minutes due to a wrong treatment they gave there :( . they never follow up history records. very unprofessional.
