It was very wonderful experience to be there, I was there for delivery of my wife. All staff and Dr are very cooperative and humble specially Dr Neha Sirohi and Dr Himanshu Kumar, even security guards was very cooperative. Food provided by the hospital was very good and hygiene was up to the mark. Cleanliness of hospital was very good. Over all environment of hospital was best. They celebrate baby's Birthday, it was surprise for us. Thankyou Velmed ❤️ Highly recommended

Pros- Every facility available. All tests done here MRI, ultrasound, X-ray They accept Ayushman card, CGHS card, VGHS card, and other insurance policies. The compound is neat and clean, and has great fire safety procedures in place. Even the ventilation is pretty great. There is abundant natural light. Cons- The staff does not look experienced. The organisation of the hospital is in disarray. The waiting area is very small.

Nice net and clean but I don’t why Dr are coming too late even its not a gov hospital. If they love there job then i think they will have to think about their patient who have been waiting for hours. Literally soo bad for Dr, meanwhile faculty are doing good work.

This is hands down the worst hospital I ever visited in my entire life. Doctors and beyond unprofessional. There’s no good management in place. Writing this after my second bad experience in line with this Hospital. The first time, I consulted one of the dermatologist and that doctor was more into promoting their own clinic. I mean do it, but not to the patients visiting you in hospital with their issues. This time, I including other patients were given time of 4:30 pm for consultation and was told that the ENT doctor will only be present from 4:30-5:30 pm. It’s 5:25 pm right now and there’s no sign of the doctor. Reception and staff people have been telling the doctor will come in 10 mins since 4:20 when I got my bill receipt. I have never seen such unprofessional behaviour of a doctor particularly. I mean I understand doctors are humans too but time management is something so critical and this hospital and doctors fail to do it right. Won’t recommend at all.

Velmed used to be a good hospital but not anymore. The staff is clueless about the availability of their doctors. The management and nursing staff will show as if they are concerned for the health of the patient but in reality they don’t give a duck. They will make false promises to avoid the moment of heat. They will call the patient to hospital and then will keep them awaited till 4-5 hours. They also don’t know the meaning of “appointment”. They themselves change the appointment timings on their own without any notice.

If you love your family don’t seek their treatment at this place. My father was admitted here this month when he fainted. He was kept under observation for three days later on when the doctors woke up from their dreams, they did his angiography and angioplasty. He got discharged and the next day early morning again got admitted in ICU due to shortness of breath. While his time spent in ICU ; about 5 days now he was never given response for water or any other needs whenever he called a nurse. The thing that breaks my heart the most is that he was responded only once when the nurse said “Don’t ask me water, when your family arrives ask them to get some for you from the canteen” If this is the treatment in ICU of this hospital that is why we thought of transferring him to another hospital.Also his condition was not improving. My advice in short “Avoid this hospital at all costs”

First in this private hospital you have to wait for 3 hours just to get the appointment and the person who is sitting on desk Mr Mohammad has no knowledge of the service provided by hospital and shows attitude and gives a simple statement go and check with doctor yourself . My grandmother 83 years old who had emergency was simply told go to doctor yourself and then we went to see doctor in opd but there is no doctor present over here

Though this hospital is not a big name but you'll get proper attention here. Hats off to the management as their staff never seen denying your requests. I have taken treatment from Dr. Chetan Sharma Dr. Tripathi Dr Madhvi ma'am Dr. Neha and Dr. Smita over the period of last 15 months None of them has disappointed me. I would like toke to mention so much positive but their works says all. Great work! Good facilities I thought little over priced but it's everywhere.

Very bad experience with Velmed Hospital. My mother was admit in hospital last month for only chest pain. The ICU unit of Hospital is horrible, Air Condition of ICU is only for showoff and only one table fan working for many patients. No well experience staff is working over there. I will never come again in future.

I wish I could have given a big zero star to this so called velmeds hospital. No facility at all, worst staff as well, All the staff is just watching IPL matches on there phones. We went there in emergency but were treated that the patient was suffering from very mild fever. No one was ready to take initiative, My mothers got a fracture and was not able to move but they refused to give us a ward,they even were not ready to talk to us properly, very rude.please don't ever go there.Hell must be better than that place called velmeds hospital.

giving one coz there is no -1, i got my father admitted 1am in the morning, heart issues, first i was psychologically traumatized as things were explained to me over what all could go wrong! and then they made me sign a bunch of papers! Over the next three days, my father was manhandled by the staff in the ICU. Except a couple of nurses that took real care of him, rest weren't even close to being human. I requested a meeting with the doc, and he ran away from the backdoor citing an emergency! then i was told to talk to 2nd in command.! Took my father out at the first opportunity, he was more broken in mind and body when i took him out then when i admitted him. Another hospital fixed him up, and by Gods grace he is still with me :)

We went to this hospital and we met Dr Vamsi Krishna in emergency ward. Dr VAMSI KRISHNA diagnosed him very quickly and did all the procedure.. thanks is not enough word for them. They saved him. My father had fracture neck femur. Total hip replacement was done 6 weeks back by Dr Omar Khursheed. My father was able to walk next day after surgery with the support of walker. He is improving well. I highly recommend Velmed hospital and Dr Omar for all patients. Dr Omar is very humble person and explains everything in detail. He and his team make all efforts for well being of patients. Staff is very cooperative and nursing team remain on toes for patient care.

Dr. Chetan Sharma is a big fraud! His entire team is full of goons. They don’t know how to treat patients and look after them. All they care for is money. Very poor behaviour.

My brother had many complications like thyroid ,sugar, high cholestrol and with this he had some heart problem before coming to Velmed. Here doctor advised him to go for angiography and the process followed was very well and smooth. After this he had to go for bypass surgery and trust me i have no words to express his and my satisfaction, results are so outstanding and satisfying thanks to god and doctors of velmed ;Dr Chetan Sharma , Dr CP Tripathy and Dr Anjali. Doctors are good.Nursing staff should be more sensible, responsible and caring. Billing takes too much time. Shortage of staff. Small sitting area. Sometimes even the patients don't get chair to sit.

Thanks to Dr. Tarushree verma. There was a very good experience to be in velmed hospital under Dr. Tarushree for delivery of my wife. All staff and doctor is very co operative and polite. Previously when it started, it was doing good but due to the financial crisis between the partners the hospital lost its reputation. Some doctors are good but due to the unavailability of resources patients are suffering a lot .....not recommended in anyways.

I could have given -1 if it was possible. We admitted our patient for high blood sugar, one of the nursing staff gave the patient wrong medicine and nobody was ready to take any action. At night when our patient's condition worsened nobody came to the room and the doctor "Mrs Smita Vohra" she refused to come she said "I will not come for one patient". Please do not come to this hospital.

It is new hospital in dehradun. couldn't imagine that dehradun can have such good hospital, with so many facilities under one roof, very good experience, hospitality, cleaning, canteen food is also good.

Hospital is no doubt very good with all the services available, staff is also very nice. My mother was admitted in Deluxe private ward and the doctors, nurses were very helpful round the cloak, the only drawback we face was trying to get a ward since the hospital was very busy and all the rooms were already occupied or booked. They should also have a mini fridge in private rooms for juices and fruits.

So I went this Hospital after my tauji suffered from Abdominal pain(Intestinal infection). We had wandered around several hospitals for a month like Synergy, Sharda, Bloom Medicity yet none of them were able to cure(or even reach near) the problem till we reached out to Dr. Dayashankar... who has now treated around 4 to 5 of my relatives. He is excellent communicator, humble, knowledgeable and most important for any family man... A doctor / "Gastro surgeon" who really cares for a patient without any fail... On the other hand, all the Hospital Staff are also very cooperative... Just the Billing guys should not act as debt collection agencies...

If you go to the emergency at night for simple infusion to normalize heart pulse, they insist on admission first. On admission , the previous medicine was changed to different simpler medicine, which caused another emergency on discharge after 3 days and had to go to the original doctor at his clinic on second day in the day to prescribe the original medicine. Only waste of money and stress to the patient. Could have relieved the patient after emergency treatment in the hospital.

One of the poorest hospital in dehradun had a very bad experience. Sortage of staff due to they are not able to give salary to their staff. One of the most important suggestion to all 'first try to not admit any patient' but if any in emergency then plz check your bill coz they add unnecessary items in your bill in the name of treatment l. My uncle was admitted to ICU due to minor cardiac arrest. Patient kept complaining to pass the stool since morning around 8am and again in afternoon to doctor and attendants but nobody took care of it or did anything at all. I cannot imagine a situation where this can be good for a heart patient. Also he is diabetic and still he was only allowed to have 1 tea in the day without any food or snack till he fought to be discharged in evening. Even for the tea when he asked for sugar free tea, he was told that special tea will not be made for you. This is a shocking experience for a private hospital. Just wanted to remind the staff that your's is not a charity hospital.

Dr. Chetan sharma and all their staff are very cooperative. Even security staff are very discipline. I strongly recommend hospital for their intensive care and latest technology. Ambience are also well maintained.

My wife recently gave birth to our daughter after suffered from intensive labour pain for continuously more than 12 hours . We reached at the extent where there was no much hope for a normal delivery as we expected. Yet we made it successful with the great help and patient oriented Doctor Neha Sirohi. Her experience in pre and post pregnancy is splendid.
