first visiting I stayed in Dubai Muraqbat side, I always want to try their famous Mixed grill. I have tried falafel and shawarama from here multiple times it was good. Last December 2021 when my fam came here for Expo 2020. I took them to this place. Their outdoor seating and the crowd management is very crazy. Staffs are welcoming and behaved friendly. We ordered Mix grill, Meat Fatteh and Meat sliced with Potato. We chosen outdoor seating and they started serving quickly after taking orders. They served freshly hot oven made Breads and yummy dips. Uncut huge Vegetable salad plate is something crazy i found. Feel like they took straight from garden without cutting or chopping and serving to out table. They served salads in Syrian way. Mixed Grill - Must try one , meat are very soft and tender one. Fatteh - off course better one Sliced meat with potato - This one I am trying first time. Order taker suggested me to try this famous Syrian dish. Strongly recommended Overall it was a good family dining experience.

Pure arabic food experienced. Loved their food it's all fresh even a single piece of salad 🥗. We tried a mix grill platter in which chicken wings was there , chicken boneless pieces and kabab was there including fries and bread with in a single tray. additionally we ordered chicken sandwich 🥪 and beef sandwich . Loved each and everything we ordered salad was superb and crackers in it I enjoyed alot . Sharing my experience pictures with the community have your own experience 👍

I went to this place due to the reviews and hype on social media food groups. I must say the atmosphere is nice the open-air seating, but I've had better food than this. The staff was polite and prompt nothing out of the ordinary. It was not exactly a negative experience just I was hoping for really tasty food. We ordered the mixed grill and the quantity honestly is less for even one person. The food quantity could improve as well as the taste.

It has both outdoor and indoor seating, well decorated lighting, and is located in the heart of Bur Dubai. If anyone is looking for a quality old style Arabic meal, this is the place. They provide quick service, and their staff is friendly.

The food was amazing, we ordered most of their best items. The person who served us gave us the best option to order. some of the food names I don't remember. we ordered soup, mix grill platter, chicken charcoal and 3 more varieties and finished with Kunafa. The taste of the food is amazing and the service is very best. my rating for this restaurant is 4/5

The food is really nice and freshly cooked. Outside ambiance is fresh. The server are quick but not giving options. The grilled chicken is slightly dry inside, not juicy. But overall good to try.

We had our dinner in SZR BRANCH. quality for food, fast & excellent customer service. Fancy place for arabic food good choice if you are craving for authentic arabic foodie.

All 5 star experience.. staff is quick to serve you even though it’s too crowded. Food is excellent and must eat especially the garlic paste with chill in it. Bread is served fresh as you empty them. Go with 2-3 friends to ensure you enjoy most of the dishes by sharing. Avoid weekends as it will be too crowded. Prices are slightly high but should be ok when you have 2-3 people to eat.

Had an amazing time with such yummy food. The person who took the order was really helpful (apologies- didn’t ask his name) and suggested he would customise it according to our need. We order mixed grill, arayees, lamb chops, kibbeh with additional dips. The lamb chops were really so tender and yummy - totally worth the price. Had an early lunch with friends on Saturday. Sat outdoors as the weather is awesome.. The food was flavourful, fresh and authentic taste. The staff was helpful with the order.. All the food was freshly prepared and tasty.. we also ordered fish as well which was yummy.

My friend and I went to Aroos Damascus Restaurant and ordered steak and grill mixes. Before the main course arrived, there was a large plate full of tomatoes, cabbage, cucumbers, horseradish, lettuce, cucumbers, onions, etc. that we probably had to salad ourselves. The summary of the night was very good because both the food we ordered were excellent, fresh bread, olives, delicious spices to the meat, various pickles. In short, we really enjoyed this restaurant.

Fast service, good food & nice selection of vegan options. Hummus was really nice but the foul was average. Lots of seating inside & outside.

I loved this Syrian restaurant. Specially their shawarma which was of different taste and diamond shaped. They also offer a good portion of unsliced to semi sliced salads along with the main course. The eatry place is quite clean and in open space. All the staffs were customer friendly.

I would have to go back again to try their shawarmas as they start after 4. We ordered different rolls which weren’t that great. Their falafels, kunafah, pita breads with hummus & stuffed meat fried breads were just amazing! A suggestion: ask for a portion of garlic & spicy sauce along with whatever you order.

Tgis restaurant always surprises me on how tasty there food is, love coming here. Staff are amazing and the place is so clean, and i love sitting outside, it's mostly packed with customers and that tells you all. I normally go for fava and Hummos with flafel, but when i change they never disappoint me. I enjoy the atmosphere there,and their prices is just amazing, anyone can afford it for sure. I also some time order to go or request a delivery and the food tastes the same.

Visiting Damascus is always a pleasure from arrival to when you leave. The staff are incredibly prompt to deal with request throughout and may appears abrupt with taking order and wanting quick responses as this is this is culture of place. The "free" salad is a starter in most restaurants and there is an endless supply of fresh warm bread which need ensue not eat too much otherwise you won't have space for main meal. I have enjoyed the meat and potato plate from oven each time i have visited.

I have been visiting this place for years now. It’s not that I won’t find same or better kebabs anywhere else but the great service and an overall experience is the reason for being back! Yummy kebabs, soups and traditional Arabic food every time

I visited last time back in 2006 and recent visit in 2023. I really impressed they could keep same quality of the food and service, and improved on ambience even more. Salad and pickles come free, price for food is reasonable.

Such a wonderful place to have a hearty meal. The staff was energetic, sweet and prompt. The food portions were good, warm food with an endless amount of bread served! Please do yourself a favour and try the food here. We sat outside and the November month is perfectly breezy and sunny for it. Recommend the grilled fish and kebab platter. They serve hummus, veggies and pickles as complimentary and you might want to savour the hummus. All in all a great experience!

Best best best place for Middle eastern food in Dubai. This is one of the oldest chains here and their food is just amazing Try to get a table outside and you’ll just love it

Sehr gut ! Leckeres sauberes frisches Essen ! Das Gemüse ist sehr appetitlich dort ! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Waschraum ist sauber , groß und gepflegt ! Der Begleitsalat ist sehenswert und gut gewaschen. Die Lage des Restaurants ist sehr gut. Es gibt manchmal Schwierigkeiten, in dieser Strasse zu parken. Das Parken ist gegen Bezahlung. Es gibt ein Aussenbereich. Oben gibt's es eine Etage für die Familie. Insgesamt ist alles top !

First time trying this restaurant and my husband and I both loved it ! 5 star for the amazing service from the whole team — so fast and efficient, every employee has a task and there’s always someone around our table to serve us extra bread or take care of us. Loved the lentil soup! The food was delicious and we’re picky eaters! The falafel is delicious (light and crispy and not too oily)!!! The bread is soft and warm and doesn’t make you feel bloated. The vibe is really nice too with the Syrian music and all the people sitting outside. You feel like home! :) highly recommend!

Excellent services and foods. Located in very convenient main road. Have sitting area inside with AC for family reference and outside open places. Lots of staffs surrounding and always take care of your needs. Highly recommended.

great restaurant, delicious food, friendly staff, quick service. the lemon-mint was very refreshing. the red apple juice tasted exactly like biting into an apple. all portions are very generous. the hummus with garlic was so good. the falafel is honestly some of the best i have ever had. the manaesh and fatayer are all so good. the batata harra wasn’t too spicy and perfectly crispy on the outside but still soft. the shish tawook chicken was so flavorful and came with fries. the rice was fluffy and also so good. there is plenty of seating inside and outside with a great view of airplanes taking off from DXB. bathrooms aren’t the cleanest but still okay. overall great experience.

The menu has a wide range of delicious Syrian dishes to choose from. Their cheese pastry was the highlight of the meal, which was delicious! Everything was fine until we attempted to tip the waiter. He refused the tip and displayed strange and annoyed behavior. I'm not sure if it was offensive to him that I was a woman trying to tip him or the fact that he simply wanted more. It's possible that he doesn't accept any tips at all. I'm not sure, but it was rude and kind of ruined the experience.

Had good breakfast. The taste is authentic especially the Fetah with ghee, foul and manaeesh. Big portion. Large menu selections with reasonable prices and good service.

I frequently visit this restaurant to have a dinner, I always like to order Hummus as I didn't find a good Hummus except in this restaurant, also I ordered a meat with tomatoes dish which was also tasty and good.

Excellent Arabic food all around. Tried grills, daily dishes, pastries, kebbeh, drinks, and others, all are quite good and some are amazing. The prices are slightly higher than other similar restaurants. The waiters are very friendly and attentive, the customer service in general is great and the place is well cleaned and maintained.

I have been visiting this Syrian gem cuisine restaurant for last 8 years now.... food quality and taste is second to none.... highly recommended.... try to sit outside if weather is nice.... whenever my relatives and friends request for a good tasty Arabic food, I always take them to Aroos Damascus.... White shirt managers will greet you with smile, very friendly, energetic and quality service staff.....

If you want best Syrian kebabs this is your place. Very well service but congested and crowded location. Other items to try are Falafel rest of shawarma and Zaatar are not that good

Not the best Arabic cuisine I've had, nonetheless would say it was still good though. The service was quick. Plenty of spaced out tables with a pleasant ambience. Need to mention that the juices were real good. We tried Avacado juice, Fruit cocktail juice, two Mixed Grill Platters, Hummus Beiruti, Baba Ghanoush with an unlimited supply of hot khabous. A bit on the expensive side. Lucky if you manage the paid parking outside. Generally difficult to manage to get parking closer to the restaurant.

The delicious food ever I eat !!! Love to spend good time with loved ones , specially outside tables , very fast , very friendly staff. Only one feedback is for the staff : ,, staying next to the client table and keep talking about personal issues, Is not pleasant ! ‘’ I understand you want everything to be a perfect, however starting removing plates while we are still eating wasn’t good at all .

What an amazing place for open air to dine in. Perfect place for family dinning. A restaurant with a vast area out side and inside. With cooperative n active staff. Service was much faster. Starter was fabulous. , Fish, lamb meet n mashroom was really a tasteful addition to our dinner. Over all a place of good taste.

one of the best lebanese eateries in town. i go there once every three months and despite the n number of visits, we are never bored of the place. food is fresh and delicious and breads are served straight from the oven. staff is very prompt and vibes are amazing. the place is pocket friendly, too.

Mainly went there for fresh (directly from oven)Khoobs(Arabian flat breads) with hummus and garlic red Chilli chutney(Paste). Ambiance was good outside seating was also available where you can enjoy food during winter time.
