Old Dubai really need an upgrade bad! The people there needs better professionalism like how the rest of Dubai does. The sellers in gold souk are very pushy and don’t know how to take no for an answer! It’s very obnoxious. As for the big stores that sell gold, being from America, the gold felt so light and fake. It was hard to even decide weather or not I wanted to buy something because how light it felt, then coming to ask for solid gold it was the same price I could get at a family friend jewelry store. So ended up leaving not buying nothing, it was just to say that I went and experienced it, but you can definitely tell the difference between the rest of Dubai and old Dubai. And they have built a new complex as well but only few shops are opened as at 21st April 2022 but once the shops gets opened it will be a different experience.
