As the sun sank lower, the waves crashed against the shore, sending salty sprays of water into the air, while the cool breeze carried the scent of the ocean across the land. Sharp stones glimmered in the fading light, scattered along the beach like shards of glass, their edges reflecting the last rays of sunlight. Beyond, the rugged silhouette of mountains rose majestically, their peaks now bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun. As the light faded, the mountains cast no shadows, but stood tall and proud, as if watching over the tranquil scene before them.

Took a small drive following the beach and found this place! It was a really nice surprise! Beautiful in a lot of ways. The way the sunset reflects off the water keeps your attention and brings a peaceful feeling to anyone that needs it. Beautiful place to visit and sit down and relax!

A nice place to view sunset. A short walk from parking lot takes you to the 180 deg of beautiful view.

This is a great place to watch the sun set on crescent city. There's also beach access here.

Super windy, as expected, great light on the cliff sides at sunset. Neat to see the cloud wall rolling in from the pacific ocean.

Very beautiful stop. I would highly recommend, especially for a picnic. No beach access really, but to soak in the ocean and all its glory... it's perfect. Just a quick hop and you are in the redwoods too!
