I was SO impressed with everything about this hotel. I live in Minneapolis and needed to be in Delano for a few days because my family's dog was lost in the area (thankfully, we found her!). The hotel manager texted me after sighting our dog and, after learning that we don't live in the area, she offered us a discounted rate on a hotel suite so we had a place to stay while we searched for our dog. The generosity moved our family and the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. It was extremely clean, nicely designed, comfortable, quiet, and lovely. There was a huge variety of food available for breakfast, the coffee was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind to us during our stay. We were able to bring our dog home and ended up staying one night less than planned. It was so nice to have this as a home base for a few very stressful days. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area!

Great small town hotel. Very friendly staff, even if not sitting at the desk, they have a little bell and only took them a minute to get to the desk. Resolved any issues immediately. Quiet rooms, good size pretty clean (I always carry some Clorex wipes with me currently and did have to use them on one of the light switches that looked suspect, but only one). Good size fridge and microwave. The beds are extremely comfortable to me and the breakfast was great, nice to have hot options again.

What a great hotel experience. It started with an amazing man at the front desk. It ended with great king beds in a really clean room. The next morning was a large selection of hot and cold foods. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Will tell everyone about this gem in Delano MN

I stayed here recently for a couple nights and the staff were super friendly! It also snowed while I was there and whoever took the snow off my car windows was a real MVP

Nice, clean and large rooms. But then... granted this is a while ago so take this how you may. We had an incident there in September 2019 when we had a block of rooms reserved for our wedding anniversary party. Our friend had a room booked for 2 nights. He travels very light, and took his bag with him after the first night. He didn't tell the hotel that he was checking out, and intended to pay for both nights. Upon cleaning his room after the first night, he hotel assumed that he wanted to check out and gave his room away to another party without contacting him but still charged him for 2 nights, so when he came back late that night and his key didn't work, the front desk told him that they had given his room away and that they had no rooms left. He pressed them and they came up with a room with a broken bed. I could be wrong, but I don't believe they gave him any compensation.

Clean rooms, courteous staff, good breakfast. The hot tub/pool could use some cleaning but overall great stay.

Ryan was at the front desk when we arrived. He was friendly, offered directions to our concert, dinner recommendations, and had excellent customer service. The next morning he was in the breakfast area, asked how our evening went, chatted with us briefly. He made our experience overall excellent.

Very happy with the accommodations for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding. It's really an excellent hotel. After the wedding, they were happy to open up a gathering room for the guests that weren't ready to end the night yet. That was an unexpected and cool bonus and we were happy to have it!

A gem to find on our trip. We stayed at Delano then again at the big lake location. Seems to be a chain you could trust. I worked for many hotel chains and this little group has some details covered. . Price was great! Room was very clean even corners and textiles very quality. Good water pressure. Great size pool. And spa. Comfy beds. Better pillows could be had. Would highly recomend , wish there were more around. Honestly would put them in category or on brink of lower level Hyatt or omni 💗 just missing a small store closet lol

Friendly staff seem to be willing to go the extra mile to meet your requests, decently located with 5G network and a good breakfast (bacon, omelets, waffles, toast, cereal, muffins, juice, yogurt).

It's a 2 star hotel but it feels more like a 4 star rooms were clean and the staff was friendly 1/2hr from from Minneapolis seed safe and like a nice area and the staff was super friendly and very helpful

We had a great stay here (thanks, Ryan, for the room), and the breakfast had a lot of different choices that were all good. I am looking forward to our visit in 2024.

Staff make this hotel 4 stars! They were very helpful and friendly! Room was clean and while COVID did not allow a typical breakfast, they did offer several nice selections served by the staff. We did think price was a bit high for a during of the week stay... Edit: Two years later we have been staying at this hotel since we have family in Delano. We have reduced our ratings from 4 to 3 stars because the hotel’s rates vary wildly. Sometimes we get a great deal for a suite while other times standard rooms are so outrageously priced that we must book elsewhere. They know that they are the only hotel within 13 miles so they charge what they want (told to us by staff). We just stayed 5 nights and were made to feel like we were asking too much when on the 3rd night we asked for two fresh towels & more coffee packets. Yet our room was just cleaned with new bedding & towels on the last night of our stay!! That makes no sense?

This is a moderately priced place with many amenities, pool and VERY clean.

Stayed here four nights. First time we have traveled in many years. We were shocked that there was no housekeeping. No room trash cleaned, No clean towels. We had to ask for trash bags, clean towels and toilet paper.

I would give this place zero stars. I stayed there recently due to inclement weather and needed to be close to work. I am a healthcare worker. The forecast was a winter storm warning that was, to begin with, freezing rain. I woke up after the 1st night's stay only to find that the storm had yet to start as forecasted. I told the front desk I would be back to stay another night as the storm was approaching. Well, from 8 am to 4 pm, we got over a foot of snow. I tried to get out of the parking lot after work and was buried. I called the front desk and asked if they could please remove my items from my room as I could not leave my location, and others had called in, unable to get to work. Coverage was needed; this is healthcare. The front desk agreed and said I would not be charged for the 2nd night and that I could pick my thing up at the front desk when able. Then I received a voicemail from the hotel that said, " I am sorry to say that we will have to charge you for the 2nd night, and if you're not here by 1 pm today, we will charge you for a 3rd day. I called the corporate office and spoke to the President of Grandstay Hotels here in Minnesota. Mr. Kennedy was his name, and I told him what was happening. He stated, " I will call the hotel and fix this problem; that's not right." I thanked him for his understanding! When I arrived at the hotel later on the 3rd day, I was charged for 2 nights. I told the front desk about my conversation with Mr. Kennedy, and they said, Well, that's too bad; it's our decision. I called my credit card company, and they will not see a dime of my money. Pathetic!! The assistant manager is an arrogant piece of work!! Don't stay at this hotel!!

Cute town but not much there. Rooms are standard but clean and soft bedding. Location could be better. Worlds smallest lot especially for the size of the hotel.

Nice rooms and facilities. Has a pool and is walking distance to grocery store. Quiet too.

Came to check in its 90 degrees and had to walk across 2 parking Lots to get in because of reseting park lot. NOISY NEIGHBORS TILL LATE. BROKEN WAFFLE IRON AND OTHER STUFF DID LOOK GOOD. THEY SHOULD HAVE BZKE GOODS IF IRON WAS OUT. AND HAD TO EALK AGAIN AFTER CK OUT . NOT HAPPY

Beautiful hotel & Suites. Very clean and friendly place. Our room was really nice. We were very pleased with our stay.

It's a great hotel. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. My only problem is the night shift employee. I watched him take out the trash, walk in and stick his hands down his pants then go touch the breakfast stuff without washing his hands. Lost my appetite. 😬

Check in was short and not informative or friendly. Check out was much better very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge selection. The room was standard for a 'nice place'. The pool was nice and warm. Hot tub had strong chemical smell but nice and big. Overall great place to stay. Just feel like it's overpriced. Although we booked a holiday weekend with short notice

My good friend used this hotel for their wedding guest to stay at. First problem that occurred was the hotel staff took my payment and guest information but somehow when I checked to make sure my reservation went through 4 months later they said I never made one. When I communicated about the issue to the staff I was speaking he had the audacity to give me attitude and I needed to reach out to my buddy so he can get the wedding block rate I was promised at the first time. Somehow it was my fault that my first reservation didn’t go through and it took a lot of negotiating to give me the rate they originally promised on a problem they caused. Second occurrence was they charged my card 430 dollars and when it came to check in they charged my card another 341 dollars. I reached out this issue to the front desk and the staff said the pending charge would be dropped after check out. When I checked out the charged went through so I managed to pay 771 dollars. I called and the employee had me wait until the manager was in office. Pay and drive the extra mile. Don’t waste your time in this poorly run hotel with staff that are not willing to help their customers.

What a great value! The room was super-nice, clean, and quiet. And the people, wow so friendly! In our short stay we met the front desk staff, housekeepers, and breakfast staff. They were all so nice and customer-friendly and kind to our dog. We have stayed in a lot of hotels, and this one gets it right.
