I
am
utterly
disappointed
with
my
recent
experience
at
Thalia
bookstore
in
Bielefeld.
Having
pre-ordered
a
series
of
books,
I
expected
a
smooth
and
pleasant
pickup
process.
However,
the
reality
was
far
from
it.
After
waiting
in
the
checkout
line
for
about
10
minutes,
I
was
informed
that
pre-ordered
items
needed
to
be
collected
from
a
different
location
upstairs
at
the
back
of
the
store.
While
the
cashier
who
directed
me
was
polite,
the
situation
drastically
changed
when
I
reached
the
pre-order
pickup
area.
I
presented
my
pickup
number
to
the
attendant
there,
who
was
exceptionally
rude.
She
dismissively
told
me
that
I
was
at
the
wrong
location,
even
though
my
receipt
clearly
indicated
this
store
as
the
pickup
point.
Moreover,
I
could
see
the
book
I
had
ordered
right
on
the
shelf
behind
her.
When
I
pointed
this
out,
she
blatantly
ignored
me
and
proceeded
to
serve
the
next
customer,
completely
disregarding
my
presence
and
concerns.
I
have
never
been
treated
with
such
disrespect
in
any
retail
setting.
It's
disheartening
and
frustrating
to
encounter
such
poor
customer
service,
especially
in
a
well-known
bookstore
like
Thalia.
This
experience
has
completely
turned
me
off,
and
I
have
decided
never
to
purchase
books
from
this
store
again.
The
lack
of
basic
courtesy
and
professionalism
was
appalling.
A
bookstore
should
be
a
welcoming
place
for
book
lovers,
but
this
experience
left
a
sour
taste.
One
star
is
frankly
more
than
this
experience
deserves.
