    Our waitress was ver attentive an competent! An Brought the experience from a 2 stars to a 3 star. ⭐⭐⭐... The $30 ribeye steak was thin an kinda bland. Cooked really well but was a bad, cheap cut. Taste like, an looked more like a NY or round steak.... My Caesar salad had way too much garlic in it I couldn't even finish it. Again prepared very well, but bad product.... Also disappointed that the manager said they only will seet party's of 6. We had 8 an were forced to sit in two separate booths., Despite the restaurant only being at 10% capacity. An the door manager blamed it on the staff, felt very unprofessional. Up side is it's was a very clean restaurant, in the food was prepared well by the chef, just cheap and poor quality product. I've had better steaks at Applebee's

    So I can go into outback half expecting there to be mess up but WOW was I not expecting it to be this terrible. I got the prime rib which was not cooked good in anyway shape or form and they forgot my side of cream sauce which lacked flavor. The service was by far the worst and I didn’t even know who was my waitress thats how many times it got switched around. They stuck us in a very small corner booth behind the hostess and the bus boy every few minutes kept reaching over our table to talk or grab things. The drink my company ordered was WAY too strong and they told us they messed up and served it to her anyway. And they also made it near impossible to get any silverware and no straws the entire meal. Mind you well reserved ahead and still got this service. Most of the food was good but whoever cooks meat in this kitchen does not know what they are doing. My company ordered the chicken it was as if it was cooked for an entire day that’s how dry it was. The list goes on for this trip. If you’re gonna charge expensive prices Outback well it better be worth it and in my case it definitely was not. I honestly wanted to ask for my money back because it was this bad but I’m not that type of person to cause a scene but I will leave a terrible review. It was so terrible that I didn’t even leave a tip and I’m not one to do that EVER

    Absolutely amazing service. The manager Bobbi was such a pleasure. Ethan is an Amazing server. You don't find many good male servers. The food was great other than a little to heavy with the seasoning on the grilled chicken so I only had two bites of it but everything else was amazing. We were actually treated like friends and not just a stranger there to eat. Love the attention I seen all the servers give their customers. We will definitely come back to this location. Thank You to Joe for inviting us out to show us how a real Outback steakhouse experience should be.

    We came here for a birthday dinner and overall the experience was good. The waitress was friendly and very helpful. The food was great and the order was exactly as we had all wanted it to be. The only small knock against my rating is the quantity of food for the entree compared to the price that you pay. I feel like the portions continue to get smaller as the price continues to increase. We would definitely eat here more often than just a special occasion if it wasn't for that factor. Overall, it is still a nice place to eat.

    Came here to celebrate my birthday dinner with my husband. The drinks were great! Our server Daisy was wonderful, she gave great drink recommendations and was a terrific server!! Had the strawberry cheesecake to celebrate. Didn’t take a picture of our food but it was amazing. We both had steaks and they were cooked to perfection. My husband likes his steak medium rare, and I like mine well done. It’s hard to find a chef that can do both of those perfectly. They are always perfect when we come to this location. Highly recommend!!

    My fiance and I have previously had very bad experiences at Outback but we received a gift card for Christmas for Outback. I just finished my semester of nursing school and we wanted to celebrate so we figured we would use the gift card. We started with a way shorter wait time than was quoted which made us happy. Our server was polite but not very prompt. We ordered apps and drinks and then our food. Our apps were real good. Our main course was so so. My fiances steak was overcooked and our refills took quite a bit of time to come out. My soup was very bland as well. My daughter got mac n cheese and although she absolutely loves Mac n cheese (she has never met a mac n cheese she didn't like) she did not like the Mac n cheese at Outback. We told the server and he said "that's unfortunate" but never offered any sort of replacement or anything. We asked if she could have steak instead but that we didn't need the sides because we would just use the ones from her Mac n cheese. Her steak was ordered medium and she received it more of a rare to medium rare and it had a huge chunk of fat on it and running through the middle. She ate 2 bites and was grossed out. When we got the bill we were surprised to see that both of her meals were on the bill totaling about $17. With our really bad service and food previous to this one and our mediocre food this time we won't be back to try it a 3rd time.

    Our waitress was incredible! Her name is Nye and she was prompt and kind. She made this experience so great!! Can't wait to come back. Food was great too! The pictures don't do justice the new crab topped barramundi is delicious!

    I came here with my colleagues. We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn next door, and I was hoping the food was amazing so I could come back more often. I was not a fan of our food, drinks, or service. I asked the waitress, which was the best soup, and she said the French Onion. Yeah, lets say that's definitely not the best I've ever had. All of our steaks were burnt. When we mentioned to our waitress that it was, she said it was just the 'seasoning' and it was supposed to look like that. I was too tired to send it back. Waitress never came by to see how was our food or see if we wanted any more drinks, let alone any desserts. My old fashion tasted like it was made with pre-made old fashion syrup. My friend has to remind her about his drink. And when she came back, she said they were out of lemonade. I also couldn't understand why on a Saturday by 9 PM pretty much became dead in the inside. Update: I decided to give this place randomly one more shot. I've seen quite a few people order from here since it's right next door to the Hilton and this made my weekend. For take out to be this fresh and taste this good was absolutely delightful! I ordered the Bone In Ribeye (Garlic Butter/Sautéed Onions and Mushrooms) with Seasoned Rice and Baked Potato with toppings. Everything was seasoned wonderfully and cooked to my liking. Steak -Medium and seared great. I ended it with a New York slice of Cheesecake and have raspberry sauce on the side. It was scrumptious. Outback has redeemed itself!

    My favorite place for a great steak dinner and a phenomenal cocktail at a fair price. Always friendly staff and food made to perfection. In case you didn't know, Crystal knocks it out of the park with their smoked old fashioned!

    Server was great. Food was terrible. Pork was raw. Photo doesn't do it justice. Didn't bother eating anything but the salad and left. I've been on chemo for years, didn't feel like getting tape worms or food poisoning from bacteria I can't fight off.

    Sat at the table for 15 minutes before anyone looked at us. Service was lackluster. I ordered Moscato, got Chardonnay. The steak my boyfriend got wasn't the one he ordered and his medium rare steak was BLUE, just rare. Steak was very poorly cooked. My loaded baked potato was most definitely not loaded. Will not visit again any time soon.

    We ordered through DoorDash ( our total bill was close to $150) and know that compensation/refund for quality issues would have to take place through them. I wanted to let the restaurant know about the items we received from their restaurant and how many items were not only missing, but also not edible, cold and very unappetizing (French onion soup had no bread or cheese , fries and coconut shrimp were very burnt and greasy, grilled cheese.. cheese not melted, macaroni and cheese not seasoned and pretty much plain noodles with no cheese, shrimp and lobster pasta was very unseasoned with barely any sauce or meat and would not ever order again...etc) I spoke with the manager on duty and he told me to contact DoorDash about a refund which I already was aware of. What really got me was him stating " Sorry, about that. You have a good rest of your night." without any type of retribution at all with trying to correct the issue that the restaurant he was managing, was at fault for. We frequently visit Outback and also order delivery through them, and have never had an issue whatsoever. We will not be going back.

    A Cozy Outback on West Saginaw Hwy Laying on West Saginaw Highway in Lansing's western reaches, this relatively new addition to the Outback family is a real good restaurant. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting interior that's worth the journey in itself. Now, if you're a regular Outback visitor, you'll know that their menu isn't about surprises; it's about delivering on expectations. And this outpost is no exception. The menu sticks to the tried-and-true offerings that have made Outback a beloved chain. The food hit the marked the expected standards. But it's not just the food: the service was really good. The staff were not only nice but genuinely friendly, attentive, and quick on their feet. The prices are reasonable, making the whole experience a delightful one. You won't be disappointed. 🍽️🥩🍷✨

    I'm very disappointed tonight. Our daughter with her family took her dad and I out for Father's Day dinner. The place was not packed. We had 4 adults and a 16, 13, 9, 6, and just about 2 years old at our party. We apologized up front as it may be hectic with the kids. The waitress said she clearly understood and took our drinks and appetizers' orders promptly. She had brought 1 serving of their brown bread. REALLY for a party of 9? Anyway we had asked for another which they brought later. She took our order and appeared to be very attentive. My husband pointed out he did not want grill marking or the likes on his steak. We explained to her basically just to show the meat the grill, and all would be good as he prefers it very rare. The appetizers came quite quickly. We did have to again ask her for the second brown bread again. Some other staff delivered our food, which we got through as they would ask who's dish was who's. My husband pointed out his steak was to be rare with no marking. It was what I would describe as fried in seasoning. My grandchild had ordered the filet mignon, and one side was burnt. They both had to wait to be corrected. The manager I had to assume came back with my husband's plate to ask what the problem was with it. He explained, and she told us that with their new cooking equipment, he would not be able to get it without how it was cooked. My 16 year old had to show her the burt side, and he couldn't scrape it off. She took it to get a new one. During our entire meal, the waitress only asked 1 time about refills and never cleared any dishes [even when asked]. After my daughter paid the bill, she walked away from the table as passing a co-worker she showed her the receipt copy as it was on a card, made some comments, and smirked. Even though she was not a great waitress, she was tipped 10%. I feel that was reasonable. During the meal, we had even asked for her to take a stack of dirty dishes she did not. Again, I'm definitely disappointed.

    Over the weekend I visited the restaurant with my mother, I have never been to outback before so I wasn’t sure what to get. My server Alexis did an amazing job recommending not only foods but drinks as well!!! If you visit at this location make sure Alexis is your server

    Mitchell was AMAZING tonight. He was the reason I had such an amazing dinner. By far the best customer service I have had in a years… and I don’t say that lightly. I would recommend him for a promotion by the way I have seen him perform under pressure. His abilities were nothing shy of EXCELLENT!! I would rate him an 11 out of 10 on his work skills… which says a lot considering I have never given anyone anything above an 8…

    My wife and I normally love Outback, but this experience was pretty disappointing. First off the manager told us they wouldn't seat party's of 8, only 6, so we had to sit in 2 separate booths. She told us this was because her waiting staff was quote "weak" and they couldn't serve that many people all at once. (The place was all but empty as you can see in my pic.) Then she told us her kitchen crew was "very new" and she "didn't trust them to do a good job". At this point I started to wonder if she was trying to make us leave. Turns out the waitress was very competent and the kitchen staff did just fine. Brought our experience from a 1 star to a 3 star. I'll be coming back but it's just for the blue cheese pecan chopped salad.

    Ordered curbside…was told my wings would be ready in 15 mins…yet I had to wait 28 mins. The wings were cold and old-not fresh at all! They had been sitting out at least 30+ mins so why the long wait? Not to mention, I only got 8 wings instead of the regular 10 wings. A waste of $13! Never will they get my money again! Ugh

    I ordered the blooming chicken with loaded mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. The only part of the meal that was good was the loaded mashed potatoes. The chicken had descent flavor but was dry dry dry 😥 the Mac n cheese the noodles were hard no cheese flavor all you tasted was oil and pepper. I was disappointed cuz this was my first time in my 38yrs of life to have Outback. I'm sad it looked so yummy in the online picture.

    My husband and I were celebrating our 17 wedding anniversary at Outback. The food was great, but this review is for out waitress. Five stars isn't enough for the service that we received from Megan. She was very polite and attentive. She listened and answered all questions that my husband had. She has a beautiful personality and is truly a benefit to the company. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. GREAT JOB MEGAN!!!!!!!!

    We looked forward to our visit to the Okemos restaurant only to see it closed up.We discovered the west Lansing Restaurant online and traveled in peak hour traffic. The food was over the top! Our server Andrew.. the best! The manager; Stephanie came to our table to welcome us. The Ceasar Salad the best I ever had and the Rosemary Chicken and Broccoli side; highly recommend. Go there.. you will enjoy!

    My waitress was amazing. However food, NOT ALL. What you see in the picture is the Bloomin Burger. Layers are (in sequence) bun, bloomin sauce, bloomin onion, cheese what looks like a preformed-store bought- straw thin patty, tomato lettuce and pickles. I also had a side of 10 French fries. Not impressed. Completely wasted money. 🤮
