Figured we'd try it. Got takeout. Some kind of potato bread and 16 oz. of chicken with spices. The chicken was more bone than meat, like they just threw frozen wings in curry. There was one potato tortilla with the order. Total came to $20.02, chicken was supposed to be $12 and bread $4.5? $3.5 extra for??? Hopefully they go out of business for being dishonest. As soon as I paid, they went to the back area, even as I stood there wanting to question the bill, so I just left.

I bought the two pranthas & cup of tea in this morning. Tea was good, but pranthas not good that’s are thick not cooked good. In side the raw wheat dough. Burned on high flame. Too much oily. It’s not eat for human being. It’s very terrible food. I eat little bit & start vomiting. I ask to cashier but he can’t gave me satisfied answer, I let her know want to talk with owner but all are Corona positive. The cook was the Mexican lady I think she is not able to make a Indian food. Indian cook can gave the better Indian taste. Please maintain the quality. Perfect definition of Hidden Gem on I-10. Visited this small restaurant in Deming NM on suggestion from a friend. Thoroughly enjoyed the great tasting indian food after a very long time. Rose and Patric were very humble. Buffet items were super fresh and hot. Though 1.5hrs from Elpaso, the trip is totally justified by amazing food.

Quality and authenticity of the food here is impeccable. More than we’ve had in a long time. And finding it in the most unexpected place makes it a serendipitous experience. Will recommend to anyone. Shout out to Rose for taking care of us.

came in on a Sunday morning for fuel and water. The heavenly scent of the spices and food that was being prepared is what drew me in. i ordered the curry chicken medium spice with rice and a "pita". oh man it was good and fresh! I definitely will be back. customer service was good as well.

I giving 2star for clean,good restrooms and food is good too if you eat there, but when you take food to-go they give you one day old food specially roti(chpati)..im adding the pic of 2days old food..so carefull for that..

Do not EVER ever ever EVER stop at this Deming Truck Stop/Indian cuisine restaurant. We just went through two nights ago and there was a guy in the stall next to mine and he was either having the most intense conversation with himself, or he was on the phone. He was over there shuffling and squirming and dropped a small square of foil and his needle cap. I hauled my behind the heck out of there and got fuel down the road. This place is seriously scary. The cashier was hanging all over some dude and I know exactly what thc smells like. Just sayin.

Currently in April, it's all still only carry out available. Truly a no frills made to order Indian restaurant. Not amazing customer service, but really fantastic food! Nice spice. As per the previous reviews, I stayed away from the Parantha. The Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer, Kheer were all super flavorful! Pass on the 32oz rice that's $8!!!!

Wonderful food and prices . I had the curry chicken and rice. My boyfriend had the butter chicken and rice. With our food and drinks it was 33$. We highly recommend eating here. 8:00 - 8:00 7 days a week. We were given complimentary dessert and yogurt and a type of smoothie drink too.

Our first time experience in this place has been wonderful! We were treated with such great care. Quality food. Everything was better than I could have expected. The food was amazing and freshly made. Good people, nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant, step out of your comfort zone, and try it! It's definitely worth it!

Everything was delicious and fresh. The buffet came with rotis and the owner was always asking if we wanted more. I think we paid $17.99 per person and I'm not sure if this included chai. This is a hidden gem in Deming! So sad we live so far from this place🥹

We stopped for gasoline and my husband goes, "Oh yeah, I remember now. This place has Indian food!" So we got an order of goat curry, saag, and naan to go. It made the drive to Phoenix very nice. Great food!

A random authentic Punjabi Dhaba in NM. I was driving from Phx and this was indeed an amazing find. Just close your eyes and go right in for a yummy thali and chai. Everyone inside is so friendly too 💥😍❤️

Who would think you'd find great Indian food in a gas station? Some of the best naan I've ever had and the buttet chicken was yummy and spicy. Highly recommend.

OMG! This was a surprise. Didn't read the reviews. Came inside gave it a try. I was in food heaven. The buffet was awesome. Service was the very best in a long time. Great people here. Great food.

Dan’t take food for to go this is my second time I get old food don’t waste your money

The buffet is currently (as of Dec 2023) priced at $19.90. It smelled great, but that's too much, so I didn't try it. I only saw 2 customers in the place, so if they lowered the price to a reasonable amount (like $15 or $16) they'd probably get a lot more business. I also didn't see an ala carte menu and was ignored by the staff. That's fine...I was just passing through. Instead, I decided to get some street tacos at a Mexican restaurant down the street and paid a whole $6 for that spicy, inexpensive, and delicious meal.

I see people talking about management. I just want to say that I was treated like a family when I first came in. Serve me very well with very delicious food and respect. Ms Rose and Sumeet are awesome and sweet. I guess they enjoy watching me enjoying my food, Ms Rose came out from the kitchen and start having me try all food for nothing. Then They packed me food to go. Ms. Rose and Sumeet you guys are awesome. Will see you next time. Thank you for treating me as your family. Foods are very delicious

Fantastic Indian food! It's an old diner turned into a great Indian Food restaurant. Ray and his whole team are super nice and the food is spectacular. We had Saag Panir and a few other things that he suggested. We were just driving through and staying up the road for the night. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Marking it on the map so we can stop here again when we pass through in a month.
