This
place
is
a
true
gem!
We
had
an
unexpected
stop
in
Deming,
New
Mexico
on
a
hot
day
during
the
summer.
What
could
have
turned
into
a
horrible
experience
was
actually
a
wonderful
time.
We
stumbled
into
Yoya's
to
escape
98
degree
weather
and
were
warmly
greated
by
Cali,
our
waitress
who
immediately
gave
us
large
glasses
of
much
needed
water
and
a
smile.
Then,
we
ordered
and
were
surprised
to
find
that
they
not
only
had
a
veg
burger
and
a
decent
veg
salad
but
the
beef
burgers
were
terrific.
We
asked
for
well
done
which
often
equates
to
dry
and
tasteless
yet
these
were
moist
and
flavorful.
Judy
the
cook
is
a
master
at
bar
food...
So
much
so
that
since
it
was
happy
hour
we
order
a
few
more
$1
sliders
because
their
burgers
were
that
great.
They
have
a
full
bar
and
the
beer
on
tap
was
a
decent
selection.
I
had
a
wonderful
deep
Amber
that
hit
the
spot
so
much
that
I
ordered
a
second
one,
which
I
never
do.
We
hung
out
there
relaxing,
watching
sports
tv
and
periodically
chatting
with
Cali,
who
is
a
salt
of
the
earth
woman.
She
even
gave
the
kid
rubber
duck
souvenirs
from
the
town's
annual
Duck
Festival
we
had
just
missed.
There
are
a
few
places
to
check
out
while
in
town,
a
museum,
a
rock
store,
and
even
a
cute
little
town
park
for
kids
and
adults
alike.
While
this
is
a
tiny
town
in
the
desert,
in
the
middle
of
nowhere,
and
easy
to
miss
the
people
were
warm,
the
food
was
great,
and
we
will
stop
again.
And
so
should
you.
Here's
to
Yoya's
and
the
crew.
