Yoya's Bar & Grill

Bar and grill

👍 A pretty cool bar. The food was yummy and they had fun music playing. I got the Yoya burger, and it was exactly as I expected it to be. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fun and very "hole in the wall". The pricing was excellent for the amount of food. People often mention great, good, town, service, open, restaurant, friendly,

This place is a true gem! We had an unexpected stop in Deming, New Mexico on a hot day during the summer. What could have turned into a horrible experience was actually a wonderful time. We stumbled into Yoya's to escape 98 degree weather and were warmly greated by Cali, our waitress who immediately gave us large glasses of much needed water and a smile. Then, we ordered and were surprised to find that they not only had a veg burger and a decent veg salad but the beef burgers were terrific. We asked for well done which often equates to dry and tasteless yet these were moist and flavorful. Judy the cook is a master at bar food... So much so that since it was happy hour we order a few more $1 sliders because their burgers were that great. They have a full bar and the beer on tap was a decent selection. I had a wonderful deep Amber that hit the spot so much that I ordered a second one, which I never do. We hung out there relaxing, watching sports tv and periodically chatting with Cali, who is a salt of the earth woman. She even gave the kid rubber duck souvenirs from the town's annual Duck Festival we had just missed. There are a few places to check out while in town, a museum, a rock store, and even a cute little town park for kids and adults alike. While this is a tiny town in the desert, in the middle of nowhere, and easy to miss the people were warm, the food was great, and we will stop again. And so should you. Here's to Yoya's and the crew.

We was struggling to find a actual restaurant open and not a fast food place, went here and was nice to sit down and have a meal. Nachos for starter and wings for main big portions good food. Nice waitress . Sold stella artois so was happy. Good find and place to eat

Was originally going to stop at Fat Mamas after calling them while on the road from Palm Springs CA. Fat mamas said they would be open til 8. Arrived t 7:20 pm and they had already closed the kitchen. Stopped at Yoya's Market to use the bathroom and spoke to Mr. Salvador about our long travels and wanting some food. He owns the bar & grill attached next door and said they are open til 10 pm! The buffalo cauliflower, lemon pepper wings, and turtle cheesecake were delicious! The lemon pepper wings were well done just like I like them and I didn't even ask for them that way. The lemon pepper is a dry rub, very flavorful as were the Buffalo cauliflower. The turtle cheesecake melts in your mouth. Our waitress Elisa was not only beautiful, but wonderful. Thank you, Mr. Salvador! Your staff at both your Market and Bar were friendly, helpful, and kind. If my family and I ever find ourselves your way we will be sure to stop in. I will recommend your places to everyone!

Great place to get off the road and watch some football! Plenty of great food, tvs and good drinks. Semi parking all around and a car wash next door to keep your rig clean..Put this one on your map!

Service was great, all super friendly and attentive...bar food was just "Meh". Enjoyed the onion rings. Huge 'tall' beers...

Multiple tvs make watching games easy. My favorite is the Cobb Salad. Fresh ingredients, huge, and delicious!

I received a response from the bar and grill They said they do not own Yoya's mkt. However, for some reason they have the same first name. I wouldn't go into either establishment now for to my experience from one very rude person. And, I'm happy to advertise. Oh my goodness. This was my first experience in this store. I will NEVER EVER RETURN. I do not like rude ppl. I was mistaken about lottery ticket winnings. I asked to see the tickets and she refused, not once, twice but three times until i strongly persisted. I was wrong but I wasn't rude not even when I persisted. Not only did she refuse but she was RUDE ALL THREE TIMES. Her name is Rosa. Maybe it's because I'm white, I don't know. I've worked customer service a lot in my life and never should a person be treated the way she treated me. She doesn't deserve this job. Because of her treatment of me Yoya's has lost a very good customer. I will never spend my money here again unless I get an sincere apology. Please don't bother.

I paid $24 for a 10 ounce top sirloin steak. We all know this isn't the best cut of beef in the first place. These guys cut it 1/4 inch thick and then over cooked it. Where did this chef learn to cook? The bread was good. The salad was average. The salad dressing was in a pouch. I ate most of the salad because my wife says I don't eat enough greens. LOL. My drink was excellent- served exactly how I requested. Good bartender. I asked to sit closer to the baseball game. I hate the NFL. That section was closed. I asked for a go-box. I took the rest of the bread and left what was left of the steak.

I came around 9pm on Monday and sat at the bar. I got water and menu right away but the server was absolutely busy so I decided to leave and come back a little later. When I came back about an hour later, that server and another waiter came up to me and personally apologized for not taking my order the first time I came. It was so kind and genuine and I really appreciated it. I love when people show humility. The food ended up being so delicious! I had a bean veggie burger, sweet potato fries, and lava cake. They were the only bar that were open until 12am in the whole town! I can imagine the pressure and stress that comes with that. Thank you for amazing costumer service, yummy food (shoutout to the chief!) and for being open until 12am on a Monday in a small town.

Sylvana, the owner, is amazing . Fun to visit with. Margaritas are the best. She adds her own little twist.

Great hamburgers!! Don’t let the location fool you, the food here is as good as any stand-alone restaurant. Better than a typical “bar and grill.”

Very welcoming. Atmosphere is chill. Although we didn't order food, it looked delish. Drinks were great! 🍻

Blows my mind how the only big restaurant with full liquor bar in town cannot manage itself better. Always empty. There is no water filter and so all drinks, cocktails, ice cubes, water etc taste like cowsh*t.🤮 If they invested in a better mngmt they'd be open 7 days a week all day all night, have wall to wall happy hour and a line out the door. Nope. Silliest waste of time and money on mediocre micro-tacos on Thursdays is the only special. And being closed 4 days a week... omg. Went 3x and I give up (loved the burgers). Toilets had not been scrubbed, no towels or soap. They'd been open for an hour. That should have been handled the night before. Get a mngr with marketing & employee mngmt skills. Quite unfortunate cuz I really wanted to make it a fave. Jeremy is your best asset.

Mediocre restaurant, chicken fried steak was most likely from frozen bag, not good at all, mashed potatoes and gravy were average, no IPA beer. Do not recommend.

Excellent service by our server, Eilleen .. excellent food, excellent atmosphere, everything perfect. Sports bar environment, but family friendly. Highly recommend. We are out of towners passing through and are pleaantly surprised. Clean bathrooms as well.

Rita our server was great. She made the visit fun. This place is a great hide away between a car wash and convenience store in a Valero gas station. This town is loaded with Mexican restaurants so if you feel like something different this is the place to go. Fun pub style pace with a decent menu. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

When I came in at the end of happy hour the place was nearly empty. There was a man wearing women's clothes who apparently lost a bet so that was exciting. I ordered a veggie burger and it was better than what I expected. It was actually pretty awesome! Thick patty, good amount of avocado, and it seemed like someone took their time making it. Beer was cold. Bathrooms are clean. Not your average gas station attached restaurant! Not sure if they always have music on but they were playing radio hip hop and similar music which I'm not a fan of... Would of liked to hear the tv or anything else. Classic rock? Give this place a try though! Deming doesn't have much to offer.

I'd say it is one of the best neighborhood sports bar that I've been to in a long time. Food and service were great. Plenty of tvs and everybody was friendly. I felt right at home.
