The food used to be great but over the years it has become horrible especially after Ms. Maggie. When I visit, I always try to stop and Friday, 30 June 2023, I got a chance to stop and placed an order for a hot roast beef sandwich, add cheese and bacon with gravy and ranch on the side. Horrible. Not only have the prices increased but the quality has decreased significantly. I got 1 strip of bacon and the cheese melted off the sandwich or either they put half a slice of cheese on the sandwich. Either way, they should refund me my money for what I received. I feel that I was cheated out of my money for what I received. This is unacceptable.

I stopped here after driving 2 1/2 hours. I got the lunch special which was spaghetti with meat sauce, a green salad, and garlic bread for only $9! It was all good. The spaghetti sauce was very flavorful and the portion large. Great deal and very good service. Place was nice and clean.

Food is good. Service is terrible. Waited 34 minutes on our order. Finally got it and had to wait for the employees to finish their conversation between each other to get silverware. Prices are pretty high also. $4 to add a side salad. $3 drinks. Lunch for 4 was over $60.

No menus to look at until you are standing at register to order. Took more than normal wait time to get food. Pizza tasted strange, BBQ spud was tasteless, dry Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the fries tasted bland. We are not normally picky customers but we could not finish the food. We each tried each others food trying to make a meal out of it. Didn’t dare complain bc one person (we sat near the pick up area so we could hear) complained and the employee acted as if she didn’t hear the customer and just stared at him. Very disappointed. This is my 3rd and last time going there. Some of the employees completely walked past people standing waiting on refills, flatware, and condiments numerous times. 5 people standing waiting for more than 5 minutes at the counter.

I stopped here on the way back to NY where I’m originally from. THE best Italian food I have EVER had , even compared to back home and no Italian cooks in the restaurant at all. HOW. All black cooks, and waiters . When I asked how do I leave a tip?? They don’t get them unless it’s cash. Sad. How do you own a business but have others are cooking better than your own people. Italian owned BUT black Ran and the bomb. You should be ashamed of yourself. Will be posting on Facebook and letting my colleagues know in the area.

Overall, the food and service was okay. I just couldn't believe how some of the workers were behaving. Some of the workers were not respectful to the patrons eating there. It's bad when my 12yr old notice this and said, "Ma we're not coming back here". Unfortunately this was my first and last trip.

I always stop here at least once while in Demopolis. The lasagna and deluxe pizza are very good. The "small" pizza is about the diameter of a store-bought frozen pizza, but with more toppings and much better flavor.

The cashier was rude and asked me if I wanted her to sign my ticket. I have been a customer for over 40 years, my last four visits my food has been awful! Tonight was a special night 65th birthday. Mr. G's has always been our place.
