This was pretty cool! I was kind of amazed with the lock and dam. Watching these huge barges being raised or lowered was cool to me. I only wish that there had been an overlook that you could actually see down into the lock to see how everything works, but I assume with safety issues and concerns that it is not possible. The area was kept clean and well maintained. I certainly enjoyed my time here and look forward to doing it again someday.

Been many years sent I've been there. Was just a boat launch and spot to fish and watch barges lock through. Really improved the site. Restrooms, gazebos. Kudos on the transformation. Very nicely done.

Cute picnic area with good cell reception and tables (water is shut off), gates lock at night. Boat ramp open 24/7 with bathrooms and 30 parking spots, day pass instructions posted, but Verizon reception is limited.

Beautiful so excited to be back here to this little piece of paradise. Love seeing all the wood carvings in these tree stumps, the picnic area and the swing to suit and just relax and watch the beauty of it all. 1 word AMAZING

Great place to picnic. Pavilion with tables, close by restrooms. Hosts on site maintain park at very high standards. Worth the trip.

This is a place to go for enjoyment.my favorite thing to do is catch catfish.

As beautiful as this site is when we reserved the site we paid to reserve it from 6:30 AM till 8 PM and it states it clearly on my reservation that we have the site for that length of time. My daughters wedding began just before 3:00 and the reception right after and at 4:30 the people over seeing that site shut the gate closing us in and not allowing any other guests to come in and she told us we have till 4:45 pm to get out. Upon proving that I had the reservation until eight did no good and when I contacted the headquarters for a refund they refuse the refund saying that they have a different policy at the park then what’s online. If that is not fraud I don’t know what is. Be careful renting here.
