Lovely little restaurant/bar in the heart of old Denia. Staff welcoming and helpful. We opted for the menu of the day. It's perfect, good portions and super tasty. Definitely they have a great cook. They also have a tapas menu in the evening, good selection to share with friends. A little gem to come back again.

Amazing value for money. 11.50 Euro menu was nothing short of amazing for the price. Drink, 3 plates and desert! It's a smaller restaurant so pays to book first in peak months.

We ordered the duck salad, the tacos mex and the beef burgers. Service was excellent, our waiter was super friendly and truly wanted us to have a good experience. When one of us spilt sauce on their clothes, the waiter offered us a stain remover which was very sweet. After saying that we were full from our meal, he offered us a digestive drink on the house. The salad was delicious and was presented well. The tacos were tasty and were a great portion size. The burgers were great value for money. We had a great experience and will definitely be returning on this trip.

Great food, decent prices and helpful staff. We waited a bit to be served, but it was Friday night and the restaurant was full. The staff did their best.

Whilst the initial service was pleasant as was the ambiance the food wasn't. The steak was a large piece of gristle which after initially being served still chilled inside was truly inedible. It arrived with 5 soggy chips and some grilled vegetables which were also all cold. We pointed this out and they were very apologetic . They took our cold food away and reheated it briefly. It was really poor quality food and service. What should have been a lovely birthday celebration meal with my wife resulted in us leaving the restaurant still hungry and very disappointed.

We loved this place on Calle de Loreto. We ordered tapas and everything was excellent. The price was lower than the places we visited near the water. The house red wine was a great tempranillo from a nearby location.

Can't believe the quality of food for a menu del dia! Fresh warm bread with aoli, pre-starter salad with caramelized apple, goats cheese and lovely bits of seeds throughout, starter breaded mushrooms with iberico ham, for main slow cooked pork falling off the bone with potatoes and veg, and homemade cakes for dessert!! For €12.50 it's insane! I would easily pay that for the main course alone. Drinks are not expensive either. The service to start off was a bit slow but we came at peak time. There was only one waiter and he worked tirelessly though the whole lunch service. Once we ordered, the food was quick, so I didn't mind the initial wait for drinks. Great eating experience!

This restaurant was a rare experimental fusion find in a landscape of paellas. Our waiter and our food were both incredible. Highly recommend.

Creatively presented, great service and super good value for money. Menu del Día for 11.50euro was fresh and delicious. Try the goats cheese salad. We left very satisfied.

This is our first time in Spain from America, so I have to qualify that. We’ve had some really great dining experiences while here, but La Cova Tallá is one of the best restaurants we’ve EVER eaten at! We discovered this restaurant because the “more popular” ones were all booked. We ventured out of our comfort zones and tried the grilled octopus, bull’s tail, duck and tuna. Absolutely amazing, and we were treated with after dinner drinks of mistela by our waiter. Again, increíble!!! If I ever make it back to Spain, this restaurant is a must. ¡Hasta la proxima vez!
