I originally planned to stay in Valencia that night, but on a quick roadside check I found this Marriott Resort at Denia for a bargain price, so I can canceled the night in Valencia and booked this resort, though I arrived around 22:00 in the evening from Murcia after dinner. It was a very nice stay, the upgraded suite had a very nice mountain and pool view, and the details of welcome gifts and sweets were has a very nice touch of home sweet home. The breakfast had a broad choices and I enjoyed morning at the resort until noon to check out. The hotel gave me a complementary spa coupon for one hour, but I did not have enough time to use it. Anyhow, it is a very nice resort on the coast of Mediterranean for leisure stay. Highly recommended!

It used to be a Shangri-La resort hotel, and now it is a Marriott. The hotel features golf and spa. I have to say that several restaurants in the hotel are very good. We eat in the hotel every meal. Compared with many restaurants, large and small, it does have a higher standard. In my impression, there are some Thai dishes, which are very authentic. The spa is also great, but no matter how many days you stay, there is only one chance for free. The pool is quiet and great for a morning swim.

Very nice hotel! Delicious breakfast and great variety. Hotel staff is friendly. I didn’t like that they were having Nespresso coffee (not very consistent). The area is perfect to relax, there are no other restaurants or bars in walking distance, keep that in mind.

This is not a 5 star hotel, quite out dated, although they tried to refresh some parts of the room. The room itself was quite and large, with a large balcony. The service in the hotel was quite basic, not what you normally expect from a 5 star hotel in a west-European country. Nice pool, but no entertainment or whatsoever. I would have appreciated some water gymnastics or table tennis tournament. Unfortunately you have to pay to enter the spa. Nice green area and good starting point to take the car and visit some places nearby.

This hotel is a suitable choice for a 1-2 night stay. In my opinion, it caters well to both business trips and romantic weekends. However, it's worth noting that in reality, the lighting is dimmer than what the photos suggest. Nevertheless, we didn't encounter any issues during our stay. I recommend this hotel. On the downside, we were not impressed with the hotel restaurant. It lacked any special appeal.

We went for Sunday brunch 39 euro no drinks included. It was Dave Lewis playing music and if it was just food I would not go again. They ran out of several items; Rare Roast beef was the most disappointing and this was with only a limited amount of diners. I would be doubly concerned if it was busy. Staff were good and it's a very nice hotel overall.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The location and scenery is beautiful (a car is essential, though!), the rooms are lovely and so is the pool. The breakfast selection could be improved, after a few days it becomes very boring. The waitresses at breakfast sometimes seem rather stressed out. I was disappointed by the Asian restaurant: There are only 3 fixed menus which are very similar. If you're a vegetarian or don't like fish, you won't find anything here. I find this concept outdated. We ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Luckily, there are other great restaurants on the country road or in Dénia.

Typical Marriott hotel. Classy. We liked the dinner and the breakfast. Nice pool. Spa costs extra. Easy parking. "BeachbungalowStyle"-rooms. 5*

A very nice Golf Resort and Spa Hotel. Nice and quiet with great views. Service is friendly and professional. 27 holes Golf course in 2 min walking distance. Restaurants serve great food though the Overall ambience of the place has room for improvement - to be fair it is more like a good 4 Star hotel than 5 Star.

A bit outside of Denia located beside a golf place. Room was clean. Offer nice breakfast area outside beside, with view to the pool and view to the green.... Enough parking space...

We went in a romantic getaway for Easter. Excellent front desk staff, it's is evident that the front desk manager Cristina Ortiz leads by example. Keep up the great work! Pool man/ lifeguard super nice and attentive. Restaurant, though super busy, always stalked, speedy and good service. Spa representatives were not friendly. When I went to ask a question and walked through the spa door with my service dog, the woman at the spa yelled from the spa hallway and at a, " no animals allowed!" This is before I could even approach the spa desk to ask for services and explain it was a service dog approved to be in all spaces minus restaurant by hotel leadership. I did not move forward with booking any service due to the rudeness, I felt embarrassed in front of the other guests and walked away. I would recommend training on how to approach people with dogs to the spa staff.

We spent 9 nights here and had a very easy time getting around to our appointments. For us the location was great away from the crowds. If you are wanting more of the cost life this location is 20-30 min. away. It was a 60-min drive to Alicante, and everything else was pretty much 20-30 min away in any direction. The property is very nice with the golf course.

Room are spacious, and service is as good as it should! The location is great but the view of our room was average. The breakfast was huge with a plenty of choices!

Loved the hotel and the breakfast. Had to crash in a hotel at the middle of the night and the staff were super helpful and accommodating. Really appreciate it.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, staff were excellent and the familiarise were well maintained. The gym was a little disappointing but well enough equipped to get a basic work out in. Hotel location is a little remote but there are taxis available which we used to get to Denia port and even as far as Benidorm!

I booked this hotel to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The pool water was cold and there wasn't any hot tub, even though it states that there is on the website. Rooms were very nice, but the whole hotel smells like it was sprayed with pet deoderizer. Would not stay there again.

Firstly I'd like to say the food in both restaurant's was fantastic. We arrived for a spa weekend for my birthday. I tried to book the spa and treatments but was told they were fully booked. We complained and was eventually given a spa circuit and told that they would ring me if a cancellation came up for a treatment. We found that there was no staff and the treatment rooms were empty . We were then told on the Sunday night that the restaurant was fully booked and that we would have to eat in the snack bar using the snack menu. As we'd pre paid for dinner we again complained and was eventually told that we could eat in the restaurant. We found that the restaurant was full of golfers having a buffet meal and we were the only two served at the table from the menu. Therefore we concluded that we had been an inconvenience. The rooms were adequate but not the 5 star standard we expected and the superior room that we booked did not have the advertised view. Waldo at reception and the head waiter did their best to support us and are a credit to the hotel. We asked a female receptionist if there was any entertainment on on the Saturday evening and was told there was a television in the snack bar. The hotel is too far to walk from the town itself.

Nice hotel but the drinks are a bit expensive at the pool (beer 5 eur, appleroll spritz 12. ) There is no pool service. Coffee facilities in the room are bad. 5 star hotel should hace no instant Coffee. Rooms have a lot of space. Big gym.

Came back home yesterday after 5 days at this hotel ‘B&B type’ for a family wedding. The hotel teams were absolutely on point and extremely accommodating in every aspect. Breakfast, lunch, evening canapé, BBQ & cold buffets.. all the food options were lovely. Large pool is perfect for all ages and abilities. Baby pool was perfect to cool off the ankles and fun for babies/toddlers. Pool towel cards are issued at check-in. Reception are very helpful with booking taxis and translation. The port is 15-20 mins. Nearest ATM machine in La Xara 10 mins away. Alicante airport is 65 mins away at €140-155. I would gladly stay at this hotel again!

A fantastic Marriott hotel. The quality and service you would expect. Large, comfortable rooms. Several options for food. Pool at the centre, gym and spa. Right next door to the golf course - just a three minute walk. 15 minute drive from the coast. Lots of parking at the hotel. We had to hire a car as the local taxi service not so reliable. Tennis centre 15 mins away.

It's a Marriott resort hotel and it meets all the expectations of a Marriott property. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The location is beautiful. The restaurants are very good. It's older, but renovated nicely. Understand that it's a golf resort and not a beach resort so it's not on the coast, but it's a great relaxing place to stay.

Chose this resort in Denia as my destination for my 50th birthday. Could not have been happier with my choice. My two daughters and myself had a blast of a time. The location is spectacular, the facilities top notch. But what made it truly special was the staff: very attentive, great attention to detail, responsive. They were aware of my anniversary and they made it feel a very special stay for me. Thank you all!
