We took a cooking lesson here. The location is very nice and the owners is super friendly. The place is not very easy to reach but with a scooter is just 15 minutes. The lesson is very informal but fun and interesting. The lesson starts at 10.00am and costs 2500rp per person, but it worth it. At the end of the lesson you can eat what has been cooked and I have to say definitely these were the best curries we had since now in Sri lanka, in spite of we have tried several places recommended by lonely planet. You can also have dinner here. Food and cooking class very recommended.

I only went there to fix the roots of my dreads and ended up being there for 4h to eat lunch and just enjoy their garden! The food is really good and freshly made! I‘d totally recommend to take a small trip to the beautiful area and enjoy lunch/dinner. If u want to see how u can cook a traditional vegan sri lankan rice and curry they also host a cooking class and show u how u can prepare the veggies of you‘re own country for a colorful and not-so-spicey sri lankan curry!

I walked in and asked Dasun to do whatever hair tattoo he wanted to do as long as it looked good and he knocked it out of the park! He said it was his first time having the opportunity to do something so elaborate. I am honored to receive this gift from him. I have done a lot of hair tattoo in my life, across Hong Kong and Singapore. This was the first time I had ever experienced somebody doing it purely with a straight edge barber razor. The whole process took about 2 hours with a lot of razor nicks and having to change a lot of razor blades. It was all worth it! I was around Sri Lanka for more than a week after and I had a lot of wonderful comments about the hair work. Nobody could believe it was done in Sri Lanka itself! A hidden oasis restaurant which offers the most delicious rice and curry, hammocks and swings hang from the trees which cover you in perfect shade. Probably the most tranquil setting for a restaurant that you could think of there are no other sounds but the sounds of wildlife and the tree crests rustling in the wind. We also took the cooking class which lasts about 3 hours and you get a very thorough and detailed lesson which will help you build you understanding of authentic Sri lankan cuisine. We made sambol, dhal and a myriad of other local delights. Couldn't recommend this place more and be sure to have plenty of time to spare for your visit and sip a lovely pineapple juice while swinging amongst the trees.

What an experience! The place is hidden north of Mirissa, surrounded by tranquil rice paddies. The owner offered to take us there and back from Ahangama. The food was vegan and absolutely stunning, served in large quantities, and the lady who cooks (who’s the wife of the owner) is incredibly talented and kind. We had a very inspiring chat with the owner, who’s willing to share about his philosophy, and Buddhist principles - it was fascinating and made both of us reflect a lot. His goal is to create a meditation place, and his vision is so authentic that i can’t help want to support this project - if you get a chance, go and get dinner there, you won’t be disappointed!

Actually the best flavors we have experienced in the 10 days we have been in Sri Lanka. Such a lovely family, beautiful jungle vibe garden and many of the spices were made themselves. Their home is a little drive out of town but it was a special experience being welcomed into their home. 100% recommend.

Amazing place up in the hills, not far by TukTuk from Mirissa and Weligama Beach. Well worth the trip there, the owner greeted us warmly and was happy to show us around this cool Jungle Restaurant/Salon/Therapy Haven! We are Vegan and found the food was really special and some of the best Vegetable curry we had tried since being in Sri Lanka plus.. it was unlimited! Not that we had to ask for more.

Visited a place in the jungle called Cosmic Power Woody Cottage. Very welcoming family of hosts, and amazing atmosphere to hide away from the sun. A beautiful garden surrounded by jungle with wild birds and monkeys, meditation in the evening, cooking classes, scrumptious vegan curry. I would recommend it as a special sightseeing spot, not just a place dinner 🇱🇰 You can even book a room to stay here for some days. And by the way, if you have dreadlocks or want to make them, the host Dasun can help you. He has plenty of experience and the hands of a master.

Awesome I cannot stress how delicious the food is. Came here for brunch. Cosmic power woody is owned by a very nice family. The owner welcomed us and allowed to us look around and relax. He sat with us and we chatted for a while. We order their curry meal and it was one of the most delicious meals I ate.It took a bit of time to prepare because it is made fresh by his wife. And it is worth the wait. While you wait you can walk around the place, enjoy the cottage as you please. The meal came with several different curries and brown rice. It was a lot of food, but we finished it all because it was so delicious. We were full for the rest of the day. It was very relaxing sitting in the middle of all the greenery and listening to the birds. The owner told us that he has a few different animals that always come around. The cottage itself is also very cool and comfortable. We rented a scooter and drove here. it was very easy to navigate. once you are close there are visible signs to lead you to the place. but there were other people who had taken a tuk tuk as well. I highly recommend visiting this place at least once. It is so worth it for the food and the peaceful atmosphere.

We went there for dinner and had to wait 1-2 hours, because the currys where cooked freshly. We felt very welcomed because of the great hospitality and the waiting was definitely worth it. The place is peaceful and quiet, so you can enjoy the tasty and delicious vegan all you can eat buffet they serve you with plenty different currys, made with so much love.
