My husband and I had been looking to buy new wedding rings, after much looking, we came across Seylan Jewel Arts. We read previous reviews, so we popped in. We could not be happier with our handmade rings that we collected the day before we left. Mine is very pretty and we are extremely happy with them. The owner was a lovely man, very friendly and helpful and knowledgable.

I have visited so many jewlery stores in Sri Lanka, and this is the only one I've found what I've looked for. Seller is a great man, very kind, friendly and very patient. He has a great palette of jewlery for woman, and here I found my ring with 3 rubies and 13 great natural sapphires of high quality. The bigest surprice was the prices for such a quality-in Colombo you may buy the ring with this quantity of sapphires for the price unleast 5 times bigger then in this store.. If you buy more items, you will have certainly discount. I recommend this shop and the seller everyone who come to Mirissa (Sri Lanka)-you will leave the store happy and very satisfied. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very good customer service! The owner gave a decent discount on the items I bought (2 rings and a pair of earrings). I needed the rings resized as my hands are a bit small, after going in during the evening he gave me the option to come back to the store in Mirissa or meet in Galle the next morning to collect. He even resized and polished a ring I already had for free, very helpful!! I got a certificate for everything I bought which is also sent to the jewellers association and the gems were from Sri Lanka. They are stunning and I’ll be glad to show them off at home :)

Found this hidden gem when we were on the hunt for jewels in Mirissa. Despite having gone to many other stores already (and feeling somewhat underwhelmed and over-pressured by other jewel merchants), we were highly impressed by Bishri’s intimate knowledge about all kinds of jewelry, as well as his gentle and patient manner. We had an idea of what we wanted (a sapphire cluster ring) and he spent a long while with us helping us decide on a ring, discussing options and offering very helpful advice. I was confident in his abilities and craftsmanship (which I found to be far above the other jewelers we looked at in the area), and were very pleased with how accommodating Bishri was with the price he offered us. We went back the next day to confirm our order and the day following to collect my stunning new ring - white gold, a beautiful blue sapphire and surrounding diamonds. I can’t stop staring at it! We have since continued to Galle and have received several high praise comments which are all due to this lovely man. I am so glad we waited during our trip to buy here and will most certainly be back in the future!

Worth the drive if you are anywhere in the south. Went to many jewelry stores, felt hustled and did not buy anything. The owner of this shop was the nicest man we met in Sri Lanka. Told us about all the gems where they came from and which ones weren’t from Sri Lanka. His prices are more then fair and his selection is stunning. Family business with himself and his father making all the pieces. It’s an hour drive for us to get there and we are going back again today. Can’t recommend enough.

Amazing experience. From the moment I arrived with my husband the service was very attentive and good. The owner has been in the business for a long time and is very realistic with selling prices. We bought beautiful sapphire rings, garnet and other pieces. He is very knowledgeable and not trying to cheat at all. I highly recommend for those looking for special pieces and good service.
