Dirty, badly maintained, unattractive location with an air of decay and neglect. Large stretches of the coast path are being dug up and rebuilt. So much trash on the beach and in the water between Mertesari beach and the Mercure resort. Go somewhere else.

Nice place to spent with family, especially those who has kids, older parents and disable.

I love this beach. It's where the locals bring their family and just have fun at the beach. I was privileged to witness family day after Galungan. The beach was filled with the gatherings of many families celebrating this religious occasion. On the other side of the pier are resorts that also had many restaurants to choose from. I will definitely go back.

Sometimes we came to this beach to get fresh air. Sunset time the best. Just need to pay 2000 rupiah to enter this beach by motorbike. The local warung's arround has fair price. My fav was the lumpia (fried spring roll, tofu and tempeh with special gravy sauce)..supper lekker..👍👍

You should pay two thousand rupiah to acces martasari for motor, in here you can doing a Lot of Activity, you can play Cano, you can rent a bike and walk around, swimming and eat tradisional and western food near there. Beautiful thing you can see is sunrise you should to cam at 6 am,in evening a Lot of familiy come to having fun in martasari, they do swimming with their children, build a sand castel and parents talk and smile each other such a really warm vibe. in my opinion this beach hold a lot of memory for man, it really suit for you if you want hangout with your familiy and friends..

Really nice beach. There is a nice flat area where you can park right up to the edge of the beach, its a really nice hangout area, been there multiple times. Its right beside the parking lot near Dream Island.

Very Beautiful Sunset

This is one of my favorite beaches in Bali. Clean, plenty of restaurants and cafes, great for pedestrians with the well-paved bike lane in place. You can surf, fly kites, paddle, swim.

I went there two days ago for a piece of mind but never. The dogs were loose and unattended. They were barking and bouncing here and there, sniffing around. Couldn’t enjoy the sunset view. Not recommend for any one seeking serenity and calmness.

Nice beach. But sometimes too crowded

Good place for play kites, kite surfing, surfing or just play water and sand. Between April to October the wind is good for kite surfing, the peak time would be on July and August. These people bring bamboo sticks and fabrics of kite and will assembles the huge kite on the beach. Requires team works doing this also to fly it. This is one among others of Balinese unique traditions. Where people spend their social time by playing a lot.

A busy beach every single days ...but good spot for chill out and taking pictures

A good place enjoying sunrise and sunset, watersports activities, boats and sail boats views. Mostly visited by locals, sometimes as a venue for local events such as kite festival, music concert and exhibitions

It’s same line with Sanur But more quiet, some locals doing melukat here. Clear sky, fun for playing kite 🪁 and take a walk your doggie 🐶

Fun beach for family

It is a good place for family to spend time together. There are kids water sport, small canoes, fishing area, swimming, parasailings, warung selling food, very nice

Definitely not the best beach in Bali. It’s very crowded and quite dirty. You can rent a boat here to go to nearby surfing spot.
