We always love to stop by and say hi when we can! They also have tasty non-boozy options if you're in the NA-Game!

Met up with our crochet group. Such a cool vibe, plenty of seating, and the music level was just right. There are plenty of drink selections no matter what your palate is. The server was extremely knowledgeable and fun. Enjoyed the 3 Nations and Tango Fandango.

You’ll love Bearded Monk if you love craft beer. Although I’m not a craft beer drinker myself, they always still have great options on draft that cater to my picky beer preferences. I ordered the Guava Good from Oak Highlands Brewery. My husband got the Kolsh from 512 Brewing. And they have a few outdoor picnic tables you can enjoy a draft while soaking in the sun (or staying shaded under the umbrella). You can also order a 6-pack of cans, bomber bottles or even growlers to-go. Plus, if you get a chance to meet Ben, he’s one of the friendliest bar owners in town and actively involved in the community.

Best of both: a bar to hang with friends, and a perfectly stocked beer store! I love that you can try a new beer (different ones available every day!) And then buy some to take home! Will continue to visit!

Ben’s ok. The rest of the staff is definitely more intelligent and better looking. Great place for a beer while you browse their curated selection of boozy beverages.

I love you guys! I just discovered The Bearded not too many months ago and its awesome! I love just walking and looking at all the beers you have! I'm originally from Wisconsin so I definitely have that German love of beer in me. I need to have a fresh beer on tap one of these days. Its truely a beer lovers place.👍🍻

You can find some of the latest beers as well as some nostalgic beers you don’t always see in the big box stores. The space seems small on the outside you would expect an antique quaint shop. Then you go in and see an impressive tap wall of crushable beer, rows of beers to purchase, and a cold case. The Bearded Monk has a quirky and lovable attitude and vibe that you want to stay all day. By 5 p.m., scrolling and enjoying my beer, I think I should have been gone a long time ago. SMH. It was so peaceful sitting at a table. If I had my book I would have been in complete bliss! You can bring food from the nearby food Truck or that amazing Mexican restaurant around the corner. I don’t get to Denton that often but when I do; The Bearded Monk is on the list.

Unique find in the heart of Denton, TX. Great atmosphere, fabulous beer selection and a chilled out vibe. Went on a Tuesday night and an amazing live jazz band was playing. This is a great place to unwind.

This is the most amazing bar on the planet. LGBTQIA+ friendly year round. Check out the food trucks right next door and behind the Monk. Blind Fox is my personal favorite. Try the kimchi Mac n cheese.

This is my favorite place to come hang out. Great staff, great beer, and an accepting atmosphere where anyone and everyone can come and enjoy beer together. Honestly one of the best beer bars in DFW. Come for the dad jokes, stay for the good vibes, don't forget to pet Gary.

The Monk is always a good time. Ben and his crew are very knowledgeable and a great group of people! They have just about everything you could want in craft beer.

Awesome selection of on tap beers as well as cans and bottles. You can also grab stuff to go (4-6 pks as well as get growlers filled). Staff are all friendly and helpful. Conveniently located next to a great food truck park.

What can I say when it comes to this amazing business! Ben, the owner of The Bearded Monk, is the BEST! My husband & I have always enjoyed trying all of their craft beers, so when it came to getting our beer, we knew we needed to support our local Denton peeps in the process. Very bizarre and eclectic taproom. The beer is good. The variety is nice. There’s a Golden Girls board game. Lots of stickers. Something for everyone to enjoy.

TL,DR: musical and cultural events on their location, check website for more details. Different seasonal beers on draft, great ambience for sitting down and chat with friends. Wine is part of the menu. Interesting selection of souvenirs for you to take home (from beer bottle lamps to their signature beers of the season and wines from around the world). A well known location in Denton, this pub has a great selections of drinking beers and wines for you. Cider too! Some of the items might me seasonal but you can get most of their drinks on their souvenirs. No food to order here. If you want to smoke, you can exit to their back alley with drink on hand with no problem. Pets must be kept outside. You can bring your family here to enjoy a great drink and have a taste of Denton. It is worth the stop definitely.

The flavour profiles of the beers offered have more often than not matched exactly what is described. The tangerine cheesecake sour is absolutely amazing!

Came by to pick up a six pack of Fiesty Blonde as a gift for my neighbor. Sampled the ginger beer, how wonderfully smooth and delicious! Can't beat the customer service or atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

🤍 came here on my drive from Colorado to Dallas because one of my best friends that lived in the area loved this place. Ben was so freaking nice and helpful, super cheerful too! The inside is super cool and the beer selection to go was great. A lot of options on tap and prices are super reasonable. I was so excited that I forgot to tip him and I feel like an a-hole. Sorry ben 😭 def check this place out!!!
