Giving this hotel even 1 star took everything in me. If i could give negative stars I would. The absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had. Not only are the rooms, sheets, air, and bathrooms below comfort and sanitary levels, but the staff made it known that they had absolutely no regard for their guests. Extra pillows, pull out beds, and any basic accommodation you could ask for was rejected. Any valid complaint you had was met with no solution. If you were given a solution it was an absolute slap in the face. For example, the air in the hotel room assigned to us was unbearable. The ā€œnon smokingā€ building label needs to be removed because that was not the case. We could not breathe. When we asked for accomodation or a different room we were given a Lysol Spray. This hotel is an absolute JOKE. Do not stay here unless you hate yourself.

The rooms were disgusting. All bedding and towels had stains on them. The tub looked like it had a black film covering the surface. To top that off, I caught a live cochroach in the room and gave it still wiggling to the front desk. It was disgusting and could not get out of there fast enough. The floor in the room had weak spots where you kind on sank in. Breakfast was very lacking. Some of the coffee Creamer had gone bad and curddled when added to the coffee.

We stayed in their 6 nights 7 days and no one NEVER came for housekeeping ! And asked if we needed anything ! Or cleaned our sheets ! The day we left the lady did not give us our $50 deposit back and said that ā€œthere were stains on the sheetsā€ which were washable and the room was a mess šŸ¤” we cleaned all our trash we NEVER keep a room dirty even though housekeeping cleans it (well supposed too šŸ™„) very highly unprofessional people ! No good service at all šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾ P.S DO NOT USE A CARD WHEN BOOKING A ROOM HERE ā€¦ACTUALLY DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT !!

I didn't expect such a nice Days Inn. Sometimes we see pictures and then you get there and it's not what it seems. This was better. Staff was super friendly. The rooms were quiet. Convenient location. They actually had hot sack breakfast. That was a first!!!! My husband was happier than a pig in pooh. I didn't use any other amenities so I cant be honest about that.

If I could do zero stars I would. The pictures look fine but donā€™t be fooled it is run down and not kept up with at all. The rooms are tiny and crowded there was spider webs and stains on the bed sheets. The halls smelled dirty and it was always muggy. All these hotels in this area off the interstate are housing the homeless and they are not cleaning well after each guest so keep an eye out for that!

Was a good place to stay for a weekend. Quiet, no-frills accommodation with a hot continental breakfast. Some things could use some updating and upgrading, such as the vending machines and the fixtures in the room. But, the room was clean, and Jenny at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

Great location, minutes from UNT, very convenient. The hotel is under renovation and we stayed in spotless, clean room. The hallway had just new carpet. The elevator needs better signage, especially upstairs. (hard to find). We'll be back in May 2024 for a longer stay, since our granddaughter is graduating. Peace

The bathtub in my room was stained and brown with filth. I saw the ā€œhousekeeping cartā€ on my way out the hotel and the cleaning crew was using old soiled bags to store things in and an ancient vacuum cleaner that was equally filthy. The elevator flooring was a safety hazard, destroyed and waiting for someone to trip on it. The elevator button was damaged. Overall the hotel was beyond run down and poor quality. I booked two rooms and management refused to let me put my travel partners name on the second room without her ā€œpaying cashā€ for the room, which sounds like a weird bizarre scam. I had to email in a credit card authorization form through an unsecured channel to be able to let my travel partner check in because my flight was delayed. Just scammey feeling awful service. This is the worst hotel Iā€™ve ever stayed at.

I absolutely love staying Daisy at the front desk is always helpful and sweet. They have amazing breakfast unlike a lot of hotels Iā€™ve been too. The gym is nice and quiet, and my room is always so comfortable. I will always stay at Quality Inn whenever Iā€™m in denton.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a peaceful hotel with clean, fresh smelling sheets, a tasty breakfast and everyone at the front desk greets you with a smile. In a time when most hotels have abandoned the idea of what hospitality is (or never really grasped the idea) here they definitely know what it means. While everyone was super nice, Daisy stands out as a star! We witnessed her handle a stressful situation with absolute grace and then seamlessly switch right back to the bright smiling hospitality pro she is. My wife was a front desk manager for a 5star resort hotel for 16 years and Daisy left quite the impression on her!

I went to the sink that evening to brush my teeth, and there was a huge cricket that came out of nowhere onto the sink. That morning, I went to shower, and there was some type of crawling bug that was so quick that I was not able to see what it was or kill it.

Ok first let me say I was happy with the service but not much else. While the room had a hot tub in it, which leaked everywhere, there was an unexpected $100 cash only deposit for it. The faucet on it wasn't even attached! Microwave was useless because it was unplugged and cord was behind a huge dresser/TV stand. Mold was all over the ice bucket lid šŸ¤¢. Access to the hotel was difficult at best. An old dirty rag was wrapped around the pipes in the bathroom and it smelled horrible. Staff did address most issues in a fast and friendly manner but the price paid was not worth what we got. Side note, no evidence, but we only used our Credit card for the room and nothing else prior to stay or afterwards, but 2 days later our card was used in a nearby city for over $800 worth of nail salons and Taco diner. We were several hundred miles away from there at the time. Coincidence? Maybe

Ok let me say that I was excited to be able to find a hotel on short notice, but once you get to the hotel, they wanted to charge us a $50.00 CASH deposit. (REALLY!!!) This was not listed when we booked the room and of course they are charging us $84.00 for the cancellation of the room. This is a very deceitful practice and I will never stay at a Quality Inn again if this is there normal practice.

You get what you pay for. Cheap hotel so don't expect much. Bed was comfortable. Sheets, quilt not 100% clean. Half empty bottle of shampoo in bathroom. Room was never cleaned entire time we stayed. Vacuum in the hall woke us up every morning. Our key to our room stopped working after two days. Breakfast and coffee were awful. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Booked a room for 2 nights and asked if my service dog was good. Was told they accept service dogs. When I arrived to check in the lady at the desk asked who was staying. I said 2 adults and a service dog. She looked up at me in a hateful tone and said what service does the dog provide. I told her then she said I have to see the papers. I said I have his papers but you have no right to ask me for them. She then got on the phone with the manager and she put her on the phone and said we have to see the papers, I said no you donā€™t. She said well we are canceling your rooms. I then left and my husband went inside with the papers and the lady at the desk told him to leave or she was calling the cops. I had to give one star but itā€™s actually a zero for me.

Wifi worked well. Motel was under construction and left dirty each night. Room cleaning was only available on multiple requests. No lobby computer and wanted to charge to have them print out a boarding pass. While convenient to UNC, right on the freeway and noise.

Elevator was the scariest yet. Made me feel unsafe staying on third floor. We had construction noise at 4:30 pm checking in. Bathroom fan/light whined while on. There was too much I didn't like. It had a good price. I paid $55.00 more for a nice place. Happy I did.

My wife and I visit Denton monthly to see my mom. She is in a one bedroom apartment so we stay in hotels. The Quality Inn is the best price in town if you make a reservation in advance. The hotel is slowly being renovated. Ask for room in the 1st two floors. They have a good breakfast with eggs, bacon, waffles, oatmeal etcā€¦. Staff is amazingly friendly. Marcia is the manager. The last time we were there she made us a new rewards card and personally brought it to our room. It was all filled out, ready to go. We have checked all the hotels in the area. This hotel (in my opinion) is the best place to stay in Denton for the price.

Tldr: hotel is disgusting. I was told my 5 minute stop there would be refunded, but now the hotel has only refunded half of my surprise "deposit". Hotel was terrible all around. Very dark parking lot, a cash deposit was required upon check in regardless of if I had a credit or debit card to use, finally they allowed me to pay the deposit with my debit card. Elevator was real sketchy, on the floor of it was basically a car mat to cover whatever was below that. When I got up to my floor, half of the hallway was under construction and smelled like drywall and paint. I wish I had been warned at least! I was hoping my room wouldn't, but as soon as I opened the door, it stank horribly and was visibly dirty. I don't think the luggage dolly would have even fit in the room to unload either. I immediately left and asked the front desk for a full refund. After some discussion, they agreed, but now are not refunding me my full deposit.

It's suitable but you get what you pay for. The rooms are decent and appear to be clean, but the blankets don't do much to keep you warm, consideringhow this they are. The bathrooms are a bit dated. My main complaint is with the elevator. It seems pretty worn and unsteady. I was very anxious when traveling in it. It probably is approved, if still in use, but could use improvement or even replacement, from a customer perspective. Painting it also made it difficult to recognize its location. Parking was also tight and difficult to maneuver in the front, driving my SUV. Polite staff on this visit. Overall, I wouldn't stay again, unless it's the best I can afford. Money is tight, but I needed to shower...so my car wasn't an option to stay in that night. The hotel needs work but it was enough to get through the night.

This place is just a straight up dive motel. The elevator is visually not reassuring. The furniture is warped, dented, scratched and not well kept with obvious water damage just painted over. Badly. The room had a musty smell and was 100 degrees when I got in. The price is good but I feel unsafe so, not worth it. TLDR: cheap and gross

This is now under new ownership with a new name: Barrington Inn. The staff is a bit rude and require a $50 CASH deposit. If you don't have cash, they have an ATM (the hotel gets a $3.50 fee for using ATM). The ad says "Free on the go breakfast" which consists of a styrofoam cup of coffee. It is quiet here and the rooms are small but very clean

Cheap, hallway floor uneven, carpet in room dirty sticky, 2 towels for 4 people (2 queen beds) 1 bed I can see 2 towels but when itā€™s 2 beds just 2? Then ac was at 72 and never came close to that temp. Breakfast was grab and go, grab coffee and go because they had nothing else and we left at 6:45 and breakfast was 6-9

A good place to crash overnight. If possible, ask for a room on the third floor. I was booked at the first floor and I can hear all the stomping and every vehicle passing by worse early morning engine starts. Had difficulty sleeping. The toilet bowl rim had hair on it.

Definitely an older hotel, and definitely a bit overpriced. I've stayed in nicer for less money. It's clean enough I guess. Bring $50 cash for your room deposit. They won't put it on your card.

Terrible hotel. Paid a 50 dollar deposit and was told I won't get my deposit back due to the fact that a woman had a act of mother nature. Extremely disappointed. Said breakfast was included in my stay. Their breakfast included a reheated sausage muffin and nutrition bar. Terrible customer service. AVOID THESE HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.

I'm a trucker so I really appreciate the great rate and the parking in the rear I ended up doing a three day layover there it was really reasonable and the air conditioning worked amazing was it was really hot outside and I needed it. Multiple restaurants are located within a small couple of minute walk also stores available to you.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. From the start I could tell the hotel was no where near the reviews and pictures posted. I didnā€™t expect luxury, but I also didnā€™t expect my basic necessities and sanitation concerns to be unmet. Entered my room and was GAGGING n COUGHING from the smell of smoke. Couldnā€™t even stay in the room for longer than 2 minutes without getting a headache and feeling like I was going to pass out. Went down to the front desk to discuss my concerns and ask fir a new room, but was met with direct animosity even though I told her i could in no way stay in that room due to my asthma. Lady at the front desk only continued to raise her voice at me when I asked for a new room or refund, and when i emphasized my need for accommodation she jokingly offered me a lysol bottle??? What kind of customer serviceā€¦ is this a JOKE??? I demanded she come upstairs and see the room for herself in order to switch my room, and the moment she entered the room her attitude instantly calmed and she fell silent because she realized how BAD the room was. Switched rooms with me but it wreaked of lysol spray and the bathroom wasnā€™t even clean??? Would NEVER recommend to anyoneā€¦ if u choose to stay here pls seek help.

The worst experience ever!!!! Booked this hotel for a group of about 12 rooms. While checking in the manager was extremely rude and hostile. The rooms were musty and smelly. One room smelt like absolute cigarette smoke I walked in and almost threw up, tha manager said she had a lysol spray...???? She was not accommodating at all ended up raising her voice and yelling at us when we asked to switch to another room because that was completely unacceptable. She finally came up to the room and walked in, then changed the room because she could no longer argue about the smoke smell. Completely ridiculous. The bathtubs were dirty and BLACK but she assured us they were clean and there was nothing she could do?? The elevator was consistently stuck and not working.. Everything was just old and musty. DO NOT COME HERE, not only is it horrible the service is absolute trash and the "manager" couldn't care less while being extremely rude and hostile.
