So pleased with Dr Soto at Ideal Dental. First of all, the front office is very well organized, very helpful, and extremely personable. They really do remember me, even though I'm there only twice a year. They send out reminders for appointments and are very flexible and accommodating when I need to reschedule. The biggest reason I'm a return patient to Ideal Dental on Universty Blvd in Denton is Dr Soto. She really provides a unique personal touch. She takes the time to not only examine my teeth, but also cleans my teeth whenever possible. Most other dentists I've gone to in the past spend only a few minutes poking around, and then I never see them again. But Dr Soto truly takes a personal interest in my dental health. Also, last year I had a dental emergency, and Dr Soto and her office went out of their way to take care of me. I know they go the extra mile for all their patients. This Dental office is top notch. I highly recommend Dr Soto and her team.

I was originally given a price of $1510 for my oral surgery appointment, using a dental savings plan that the office staff said they had confirmed with Ideal Dental and also with the oral surgeon. This confirmation was further validated when I was asked to put 10% down and was charged $151. The day before the appointment, a lady called to go over pre-op and informed me the cost of the appointment was now $2050. When I arrived, the office staff pulled out estimate info and x-rays at the front desk and started talking about the procedure. When they mentioned two extra teeth that needed pulled, which was not discussed previously, I was confused until I noticed another name was listed on the x-rays. If the staff had bothered to confirm my name and appointment time (which I gave them) instead of assuming my name and appointment time, perhaps they wouldn't have confused my file with another patient. This seems like a concerning lapse in HIPAA guidelines to me. Eventually, I was able to negotiate the price down to $1850 by declining the blood platelet draw. However, I feel I should be refunded the other $340, since I was guaranteed one price and fell victim to your bait and switch. I called both the University Drive location in Denton where my original appointment was located, and also the Clifford Crossing location where the surgery occurred, to confirm the price with both offices. The office should ensure that the medical records match the patient in front of them, and they should also refund me my $340.

Dr. Soto is a stellar dentist. She's booked solid for a reason. She's gentle, listens, cares and remembers you. I see her and she always takes the best care of me and works hard to ensure that I'm comfortable (Dental anxiety). Her front staff is perfect as well. I've always loved the assistants and hygienists she has hired on staff. I know big box dental gets a bad rap, but she's truly worth seeing!

Ideal Dental was a great experience for me as a first time customer. All the staff was extremely friendly, insightful, went above and beyond to help with insurance to save me money and did a fantastic with all my cleaning needs. I plan to be a longtime client going forward.

Update: Second time around was a much better visit. Even though they were busy since it's a holiday weekend, they were all so nice, polite and took their time with me and other patients as well. Everyone there is nice and polite. They get you in and out quickly. Good place for cleaning but anything else they will send you out to one their other locations. If you have questions, write them down before you go because they don't give you any time to ask while your there.

UPDATE: Maria reached out this morning and got me in much quicker. My faith is restored by her responsiveness. Call me a fan! I've always said it's not a matter of not making mistakes, it's all about how you respond to your mistakes. *************************************************************** I’ve been a huge fan of this dental office with several 5 star reviews. They let me down today. Had a crown pop off that they put on a couple of months ago. Tried to schedule an appointment to get it put back on, however, she would only offer the first available appointment in two weeks. Even after asking to work me in sooner the person on the phone said they couldn’t. I have to live with this hole for two weeks. Disappointing.

So so so so good. Gloria was so kind and clear when helping with my insurance stuff, and Dr. Soto and the hygienist (I'm sorry I never caught her name) both were so accomodating! They even brought me a blanket, lol. They explained everything before they did it, and numbed me up real good so it was really easy pain wise. Weird to leave the dentist happy, but much appreciated!!

My first appointment here was so positive. The doctor and her staff were all friendly and efficient. Everything seemed to be done with modern equipment and technology. This will definitely be my new dental establishment.
