Not much food, the drinks were alright... But the music was amazing! We got to see Jimbo Mathis and his band perform. It was great!

nice cozy bar to hang out with the locals, got a nice stage for a nice band, I'm pretty sure I can bring a nice crowd, the beer is cold I really recommend this place you will enjoy it

Spent a wonderful evening at Dan’s Silver Leaf for a Rock School event. It’s a great place. The sound is terrific. Great indoor bar and they have a patio bar too. We will definitely come to see other bands play here. Five stars Dan’s Silver Leaf!

Great place to see a show, they book really good regional and national acts. The sound is great, the stage is nice and can be viewed from anywhere. The bar service is really good with friendly bartenders. The atmosphere is cool and the area is great with good places to go eat before your show. They have a good sized patio with an outside bar as well.

My daughter performed here in the School of Rock House Band Showcase and we had a GREAT time! This venue has a very friendly staff, clean restrooms, excellent customer service and good sound! Not to mention great prices on some very interesting choices of draft beer! I tried this one that had a hint of coffee flavor and LOVED it!!

Great small music venue with a nice outside area. Drinks are good, and priced well. Only complaint is that the live music is SO loud. I couldn’t hear the person next to me, even though they were talking directly into my ear. I’d say just turn it down a notch, and the place would be perfect.

The best Live Music venue in Denton!

I was fortunate to get to see Two Tons of Steel Saturday night. Incredible show and you can count on Dan's to provide fun entertainment.

Dan’s Silverleaf has become THE place for music in Denton, TX. So many great musicians come through every year. The space is so intimate that you can talk with the performers between songs. There’s also an outdoor patio in the back, great for fresh air making the space just about perfect.

Watched two outlaw country bands. They both were amazing! Very good sound quality. They have outside areas you can hang out at in the front and back.

This is one of those places where the regulars are actually really cool. I have had the privilege of going to Dan’s Silverleaf for the past three weekends. I used to live in Denton, but I did not frequent this place. I didn’t know what I was missing out on. They always have some great music and it’s a really fun lively crowd and if you are with Kyle and Jack dog (Pictured in his element at Dan’s) then you’re VIP. The Geezerpalooza was totally awesome. Definitely check this place out!

Great place for live music! Has a 90s old Deep Ellum vibe. Even better! Especially on a Sunday afternoon. 3pm to 6pm. Sound man dials it in. Tacos or Gyros are right around the corner. You're back to hear what else is happening within less than a city block. Eclectic line ups of bands so if you like music and surprise? You'll find roots. Talk music and you'll find a friend.

My favorite Denton club. Been coming here(and the old location) for the past 25 years. Many of the folks who work here and hang out here feel like family now. Dan is a true champion of Denton.

Great Place to see one of my favorite Bands "The Thin White Dukes"

I go for the rock and roll shows. I go for the hot chicks behind the bar. I go for the old timers on steel guitar, flute, sax, and piano. Call it a dive bar, it drives some of them crazy. Don't bring up that John Wayne voted Democrat twice to the white dude with dreadlocks or he'll suggest you drink their most expensive scotch.

The Quebe Sisters were simply amazing! Perfection in every way. Dan's was the ideal environment to see this beautiful show and the sisters gave us all a very special evening. Thanks to Dan for bringing them home to Denton, and thanks to the Quebe Sisters for an incredible experience.

Great entertainment, good beer, and the outside doesn't look like a seedy bar (unlike most of fry street). Every now and then some weirdos show up, but I guess that's just Denton.

Great atmosphere, fun crowd. Can get a little congested inside in certain areas. But fun overall. Definitely recommend for a couple drinks and to hang out with friends

Fantastic venue for Denton (and beyond) live music. Great cover bands, and powerful originals. Reasonable prices, delicious drinks, friendly staff. No food but awesome restaurant next door for getting food to take into Dan's. Highly recommend.
