😠 One of the worst experiences I've had with a doctor and i didn't even get to see him. I was scheduled to see Doctor Frank Wydra MD, and I believe I was not seen due to my race. I arrived 6 minutes late due to unforeseeable traffic and was told the doctors late policy for 'Lien Patients' was 5 minute... People often mention knee, surgery, great, Parker, staff, care, experience, Caufield, surgeon, pain,

I had a great first visit with Dr Parker. He explained what was happening with the arthritis in my knee. He explained options and the course of action we should take. He was honest and I really liked his analogy that due to my condition I am on a track for knee replacement but I could do things to slow down or speed up the train. He understood my pain issue and laid out a plan to help. I am very happy I picked Dr Parker.

I arrived 6 minutes late due to unforeseeable traffic and was told the doctors late policy for 'Lien Patients' was 5 minutes. Nowhere in the office or any documentation I received stated that, Mind you I waited over 3 weeks to see this doctor due to him being on 'vacation' and I have been in pain that whole time, not to mention I missed work to see him. I tried to reschedule and the excuse i get is he's not here those days or basically to busy those days to see you. this doctor should change his profession I truly believe he doesn't care about his patients he just wants the money.

The team at OCC is fantastic. To a person they were friendly, warm and most important for me, really listened to the issues and concerns I voiced. I broke my left femur and the shared the X-rays and showed and discussed how the healing is going well, and the commitment to that conversation was a ‘pain reliever’ better than any Rx. Hi fives all around, great team!

Everything about the experience was excellent. From check in to departure, the office was a efficient, friendly and professional. Dr. Joel Gonzales is a comforting and concise physician. His expertise flows easily from introduction to visit conclusion. My thanks to all the wonderful staff and Dr. Gonzales. Gerald Crenshaw

Dr Caufield took an X-ray on my right hip during my first visit and scheduled surgery for the following week! The surgery was excellent as I experienced no pain in my hip and a decrease in pain in my groin area, mostly due to atrophy issues. I was amazed that I experienced no hip/femur pain! Following restrictions was vital to my healing process. I saw Dr Caufield monthly to assess the healing process with my incisions and muscle area, since being an elderly female my healing process was slow. He is informative, supportive, a kind surgeon, and a blessed Samaritan.

Absolute worst Dr experience of my life. Sat in waiting room over an hour, so late getting me back to my appointment. When appointment was over, left me in a room for over 30 minutes, told me they had filled by prescription and hadn’t sent it anywhere. So unorganized. Terrible. Only thing I liked was the Doctor. Otherwise, AWFUL experience.

I had two total knee replacements in 2023. Dr. Caufield provided exceptional care and service for both. Highly recommend him if you need a TKR. He is also a very nice person. His support staff is great, too.

I appreciated my experience at OCC in every way. The staff was friendly and efficient. Timberly at X-ray was thorough and helpful at every step. My examination by Dr. Ryan was thorough and incisive and he understood my knee impairment thoroughly. His prescribed treatment took into consideration my advanced age(90). I received a cortisone injection and a professional knee brace. All in all, I’m walking upright and getting around much better than O expected. Looking forward to my follow-up appointment.

Always a pleasant and positive experience! Dr. Parker and his Medical Assistant, Miggie always treat me with dignity and respect. Dr. Parker has a great bedside manner, professional, yet friendly and approachable! He listens to your concerns and opinions!

I cannot express enough how efficient the office was! I was taken into the exam room moments after I arrived. No more than five minutes. The doctor was in right afterwards and the entire experience was very professional and helpful for my concerns.

Dr Caufield is an excellent surgeon. He did both my knee replacements and I am so glad I had him as my surgeon. He takes the time to explain everything every step of the process. Thanks to him, I can now do things I could not do for years.

I’ve known and worked with Dr. Parker for years. He has been caring and knowledgeable in his diagnosis. He gave options for management of my injury. He is a competent surgeon. His PA was awesome in providing insight into what was going on with my shoulder and supported what Dr.Parker had to say.

OCC and Dr Frank Wydra are the best. He’s put plates in both my collarbones and the outcomes have been great. Both times my bones were very fragmented and it was like putting a puzzle together. My 1st scar is barely noticeable and hopefully when my 2nd one finishes healing it will be the same. He’s got a great bedside manner, very personable. His assistant Sierra is super efficient as is his front office staff and all the people it takes to get surgery scheduled in a short period of time.

Because of insurance reasons my original surgeon referred me to Dr Larkin for my knee replacement. What a blessing that was. He took me on and made me feel comfortable from the start. I am now 3 months out from surgery and thrilled with my outcome. Both Dr Larkin and his staff have been so kind in answering all my questions and taking care of me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a knee replacement.

Dr. Larkin is awesome! He’s done both my hips and my husband’s knee. We are both very happy and doing well with our new joints. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lindbergh has been wonderful—so kind and empathetic. I felt instantly better when I talked to him about my broken ankle and surgery. All the folks that work with him, in the office and during surgery were great too:

Doctor Lindberg only spent 20 mins in my exam room for a complex difficult problem I’ve had for 12 years with him being a third opinion after the previous 2 docs disagreed on treatment. He spoke over me, reluctantly examined my foot ONLY after I repeatedly brought up one of the issues I’ve had. I don’t believe he would have touched my foot had I not tried to advocate for myself. Didn’t listen to my chief complaints and gaslit me inferring several times I was either lying or he didn’t believe me about my experience with my own body. I’ve seen a lot of busy, apathetic doctors with the VA and he was honestly worse than most VA docs which is an incredibly low bar.

Made appointment with Dr Swann and drove from NC for it. They called the day before and told me he was out of town! I explained that I had traveled a great distance to see him. They apologized profusely for their error in not informing me and got me in the day of my application with a PA. She ordered X-rays and advised that Dr Swann would call me as soon as he returned. He called and was also apologetic. Had nice conversation with him and plan to have surgery soon. They did all they could to accommodate me and I appreciate what they did. Good place to go!! Mistakes happen but they went out of their way to help me.

I'm delighted to have a provider relationship with OCC for more than a dozens years for shoulder and knee treatments, 2 hip replacements...and more. The entire team is excellent, communicates well, and ensures that I have what I need to remain active and healthy.

Dr. Gonzales has performed 3 surgeries between both of my knees. The man is quick, honest, and straight forward. I trust no one else with my care. It's too bad he doesn't do knee replacements. You're the best, Doc! Thank you.

Dr Lindberg allayed by fears by taking x-rays of a swollen bone in my left leg from recent accident and of semi painful right foot which has arthritis from long-ago previous injury. He and his staff are very expert, professional, and considerate.

Brought my mum for her follow up appt and sat a waited for over 30 minutes in reception area. Front office did not acknowledge we were waiting that long. I had to ask them why she was still waiting. Their response was that my mum was up next. Their lack of communication and unwelcoming demeanor is inexcusable especially when it comes to patient care and respect for the elder. On a better note the MA was extremely apologetic and very lovely to meet.

I have been to Dr Parker for multiple injuries. Not your typical oral surgeon, he has talked me out of surgery more times that given. He put my collar bone back together, rehabbed my shoulder and knees multiple times. Highly recommend!

Dr. Wydra listens to me carefully and answers my questions in detail. I have confidence in what he tells me and what he suggests for my care. I have always had a positive experience even if my condition is not. All the doctors and staff I have seen at Orthopedics Associates have been great and very personable.

I highly recommend Dr. Parker. I have been a patient of his for a few years, most recently having undergone ACL surgery in Sept 2021. He is very good at what he does. As a (former) high level athlete that still competes at the National and International level (in the "Masters" divisions), Dr. Parker has delivered excellent results. Additionally, his staff and he are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I am thankful to be in his care.

Dr. Andy Parker has fixed my right knee several times, including an unusual injury. My knee was stronger then my " good " knee. Unfortunately he gets to repair my "good" left knee, had an altercation with a tree stump skiing. The tree stump won.He is a superb surgeon and a great guy! Not looking forward to more surgery but I am in good hands.

I was lucky enough to have been referred to Dr. Ryan Caufield at Orthopedic Associates for what turned out to be a hip replacement. I’m so thankful he did my surgery. He’s an amazing surgeon and everyone at Rose Hospital told me he was their favorite Doctor and I absolutely to agree. Thank you Dr. Caufield for taking such great care of me.

I completely, 100% recommend Dr. Caufield and his staff at OCC. I had total hip replacement recently. My surgery went very well. I anticipated a lot of pain after the surgery but to my surprise that wasn't the case. I am walking and moving more everyday. Dr. Caufield is caring, understanding and professional. He is the best!! Thank you OCC!!
